I'm actually using IN Launcher N or the stock Pixel Launcher. I like Nova also, but I hate it still doesn't have a basic features like A-Z sorting with visible letters. What I mean looks like this:

Yes, this shot is made on MM with Xposed, that's why the statur bar looks a lot different. Honesty I didn't yet tried to install Ampere after the Nougat update.
Nova with Krom or Futurounds icons.

Using nova launcher now. Very happy with it!

Free and refreshing unlike Nova
Nova is Good, but i am bored of Customizing much ! so choose Simple launcher
And main thing about Eevie launcher is its features available even though if we are'nt PRIME members
Pixel launcher and Battery drain !! i have no knowledge on it ..
i will test using another launcher a whole day, then report back

Thank you, when I created this thread I was looking for informations on how to get best from this phone while changing launcher and decreasing battery drain
...oh and where did you download Pixel launcher?
I also switched from Nova to Eevie.
Fast, nice customization, free and not overloaded.
Nova. There's little competition.
KISS Launcher
Sent from my Lenovo P2a42 using XDA Labs
Smart launcher, using it for years and I love it.
Minimalistic interface with tons of easy access to apps from default screen is what keeps me using it.
Also it is battery friendly.
Eevie

I know there three launchers i know there GO Launcher ,the ADW and the stock senes ... i am run on the Gingerbread evo deck rom
Personal preference really. I prefer Launcher Pro out of all of them
Sent from "Deebo The Evo" via XDA premium
I use launcher pro.
AdwEX since it launched!
Sent from my PC36100
Preference aside i.e. Interface etc. Which uses less system resources namely battery and is more stable? I'm personally on deck's latest build always and tiamat 4.0.5. I'm a noob to forum posts but have been reading since I got the evo in April.
P.s. Love the forum, devs and android community as a whole. parting with iPhone was easier than I thought.
Thanks
GoLauncherEx is the best for me.
I've messed around with ADW, but I didn't see any real advantage using that over the launcher that's built into Deck's newest ROM.
Are there any solid advantages with using a launcher?
i use launcher pro
If you're looking for something light on resources, use Zeam. Customization is minimal, but the launcher uses much less power than others.
Personally, I prefer ADW Ex. I bought it when it first came out, before that I used the regular ADW and LauncherPro Plus. I switched back to LPP for almost a month not too long ago, but missed the hidden dock & screen moving/deleting in ADW and switched back. I never cared for any of the Go apps.
(from... Evo/MIUI/Tapatalk)
Though it doesn't have some of the features of the others, I've always found Launcher Pro to feel snappier than the others. Heck, try 'em all, they have free versions.
launcher pro here. love the widget integration and scrollable dock. These features might be available on other launchers but I'm happy so I've never looked into it.
Sent from my PC36100 using XDA App
I agree with try them all. It's truly a matter of taste. It's sorta like asking which ROM is the best one.
That being said, I personally like GO Launcher. The level of customization really is everything I could ask for.
I switched to launcher 7.....I'm smitten <3 (CM7 under the hood)

I have always used LauncherPro Plus. I love the sizable widgets and the facebook widget is awesome!
Launcher pro is nice... but I really love the zeam launcher.

Gotta give another vote for LauncherPro Plus! I was on Go Launcher for a couple of weeks, but as soon as I switched back I noticed how much faster and smoother LPP is. Try it, buy it.
hi to all,
there is a lots of launcher on android market. I just want the best visual looking Launcher ?? anyone can help !!
As far as i know .. Go launcher is the best looking ??
Depends on what you define a visually the best. Go is more polished than ADW or Launcher Pro. But the last 2 can be customized more with themes, although Go is catching up really fast. Then you have SPB Shell 3D, which I think is the best looking, but personally I like the Go experience more all together.

Go is great for themes and such, different ones released all the time and often free. ADW and vtlauncher share a base but go completely different directions. ADW is closer to go and vtl is really good if your a landscape lover. More functions than looks though.
DxTop is one I thought looked slick (enough so I remember the name and have been considering jumping to it. Oh and zeam launcher. There was one I found and I swear it was CClauncher but its gone from market or, and more likely, I have the name wrong. I have GO as fallback but the only way you'll find what appeals to you is through trial and error imo
There is endless choice and all appeal to different folk for different reasons.

Ok, let me start then. Pretty basic and clean.
Using nova launcher because I needed more customization.
Pretty simple so far, haven't really played around with much on the screen
Nova Launcher Prime, and Wallpaper Changer by XDA's @j4velin (not still around? "Last seen Jul 16, 2020" "Inactive Recognized Developer" ) to change wallpapers every time I unlock, and I can double-tap in an empty spot to manually change to the next random wallpaper (of my selected album full of them). Nova Launcher Prime Even restored data via Google in this v7. Most of my wallpapers are fantasy/sci-fi paintings by Jim Burns. I have my camera "app" set to open Google Photos if I swipe down on it, and open the camera folder if I swipe up on it to show all my camera-related apps. Similarly for "Phone", "GPS"/Google Maps, "Messaging", and "Internet". I have Nova set to lock the screen using Accessibility permissions when I swipe down with two fingers. Works great! Swipe left, I still have it go to Google Discover/News.
^like your Weawow weather widget which I use on my OnePlus devices. Still waiting on Pixel delivery to start rocking... Cheers

I was wondering. Is there any way to resize the live space widget? In my opinion it's just too small. I know it gets bigger when you change the display size for the whole system in settings but that's not really what I want.
You mean like this using Nova Launcher Prime (or other custom launcher, I assume - the outline is just from me taking a screenshot while in process of resizing it):

I don't think I've met any widget that I couldn't resize in Nova. That's another thing I like about Google Pixels. All their widgets are regular Android widgets, not OEM-specific, so easily useable on other than the stock launcher. I'm not running 12L (or 13), so I can't answer specifically.
I assume you're using the stock Pixel Launcher?
Hopefully, someone on 12L using Nova or another custom launcher can tell you, but if you're committed to using the stock launcher, then there probably isn't any alternative unless someone creates a flashable mod for it, but that's probably not a long-term viable solution either.
Disregard.

I was suspecting maybe it's a launcher-specific feature. I'll be upset if I can't have that on any launcher I want - I'm going to keep using Nova Launcher Prime no matter which way it goes. Maybe they'll turn it into an actual proper widget eventually?

I know, right? When I switched over to Pixel launcher I saw all these new At A Glance (Live Space) features and the widget looked really nice and I was like, "Oh, maybe I'll stay with Pixel Launcher. This is nice."
30 seconds later I went back to Nova
Hopefully Nova will add this
