I have a question that Wether OnePlus 3 Supports Carrier Aggregation (India Version/Asia Version) Here a carrier Reliance Jio has started Carrier Aggregation In B3-B5(850Mhz - 1800Mhz) and In some Cities as B3-B40(FDD 1800Mhz and TDD 2300Mhz) If so Then How to Enable Carrier Aggregation in Oneplus 3 Pls suggest me and give me some Answer I am struggling here for speeds

LTE bands combinations

Hi guys,
I know that HTC USA version has different LTE bands in comparison with European and Asian variants.
However what I want to know if the combination of bands to do carrier aggregation are different. For example, both devices support bands B7 and B28 but I don't know if both variations support using these bands together.
Google Pixel lists all the possible combinations of bands in order to get carrier aggregation but I can't find this information for HTC 10.
Do you know if American version support bands 7 and 28 together in order to get carrier aggregation?

LTE-A support

Hi,
I am interested in buying this device. It does have North American LTE bands, but I am curious if device supports LTE-A (4CA)?
I can't seem to find any info on this.
If anyone has the device, can you tell us about LTE-A , 4CA or 3 CA, is this happening?

Thanks! it does have LTE North American bands, im wondering if it supports LTE-A : LTE-Advance like aggregation of 3 LTE or 4 LTE Bands like Galaxy S8, Note 8 and oneplus 5, and pixel xl?

lte+/4g+ carrier aggregation support?????

Does anyone getting CA/LTE+ support on their RN 5 pro. Its mentioned on their website that device supports CA/4G+, but m not getting the CA support in the area where I used to get it on LeMax 2.
Same problem here with the redmi 5 plus.
According to miui forums, carrier aggregation with bands 3+7 doesn't work with xiaomi phones.
This seems to be a bug that has been going on for years with xiaomi phones, and xiaomi doesn't seem to be giving any feedback on this issue.
If you can get some feedback from xiaomi, please report back here. Thanks.

I thought the CA is volte support. Do you have global version and what country are you in?
CA (aggregation of multiple bands) and volte (voice over lte = the connection won't switch to 3g during a call, but remain in 4g) are two different things. Volte works with as well as without CA.

S20+ 5G SM-G986B/DS cannot pick up 5G signal in China

Not sure if anyone experienced this. I bought my S20+ 5G in Sweden (SM-G986B/DS). Recently I'm traveling in China and I noticed that, even there's 5G coverage and i have a sim card which support 5G and i have turned the 5G switch on. I still cannot get 5G signal on my mobile.
I did some search and my carrier is using N78 and SM-G986B/DS supports N1 (2100), N3 (1800), N5 (850), N7 (2600), N8 (900), N28 (700) N40 (2300), N77 (3700), N78 (3500)....So there should not be a problem for my mobile to pick up the signal.
However, a S20+ China/HK version (supports 5G bands N41(2500),N78(3500),N79(4500)) can pick up the 5G signal with same sim card.
So i start suspecting actually there's a lock which preventing my mobile to pick up 5G signal. I read some report that some China version of 5G mobile, such as 1+8 china version or Xiaomi 10, also cannot pick up 5g signal in Europe, even they share the same band...
And that's really getting annoying... Is there a lock? It's a hardware lock or software lock?
In Samsung phone there is Carrier Policy limit bands, features etc per carrier like other devices. Based on your observation of the carrier bands, I'd say the mobile providers in China are using using either N41(2500) or N79(4500) for 5G. Checking the list of bands used by country on Wiki, China Mobile is using n41 (and maybe n79 as well), China Telecom is using N78 and China Unicom is also using N78.
Which mobile company are you using?

It's China Unicom and it's N78. According to the Samsung website, N78 is supported by SM-G986B as well. That's why i'm confused.

Thanks, will try to have a look. and it sounds like even the mobile supports the bands but it's still cannot pick up the signal because the carrier is limited?

Question Force enable carrier aggregation outside us.

Hi everyone. Im wondering if this is possible for pixel 6 pro. Basically my unit is direct from us store which is G8VOU. Now im using it in Malaysia and 4g lte works fine.
Now im wondering if carrier aggregation is possible through root. Right now from what see through netmonster it can do 2ca on the same band(check screenshot). I think its aggregating two towers with the same band, i may be wrong though.
Anyone had any idea how to force enable multi band ca? The local sold phone can go up to 5ca which are mainly band 1, 3, 7 ,8. Thanks in advance.

And Digi Malaysia only have 1 band which is Band 7

Digi (Malaysia) uses 2 GSM bands, 1 UMTS band, and 1 LTE band. Find out if your unlocked phone or mobile device will work with Digi (Malaysia)

Yes like is said. Mine is at 2ca indicated that im at TWO bands aggregated. Which is way below whats possible. Let me know if you have something that can help instead of just pointing out facts i already stated in the first post. Thanks.

I sometimes have band 3 and 8 as well. Just never 3 or 4ca at a time. Only up to 2ca max.
The modem decides aggregation.
