UNOFFICIAL XPOSED FRAMEWORK
Here is a working Xposed Framework for use on the DEODEX versions of these ROMS
Understand that this is still in the early stages and some Modules will cause bootloops so make a backup before you start trying different Modules.
Please give props ands thanks to @arter97 in his thread

Made these so we can use to flash back after trying other Roms
If you want to use my Zip's as a base for your ROM no need to ask just use it and just give credit

So this is pure TW stock lollipop? Nice. Thanks!
Edit: I see in the OP post from http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...axy-note-3-sm-n9005-android-lollipop-t3021112 you say it works with the Wi-Fi fix. Is that in this one you posted?

Shouldn't need to install it just install the zip and your good to go
Just checking
I'm coming from a stock but rooted KitKat, can I simply flash this without updating bootloaders?
You can but the camera and other things might not work properly depends on the bootloader
Do wifi calling work on this one?

Only major bug is NFC does not work.

No it wont. it's just like flashing custom rom on twrp.
I don't know why but when I run this new version lollipop I get all these security warnings that asked me to reboot to stop certain unauthorized activity. Regardless, the kernel you provide the link for is real nice. You can set SELinux=permissive with it which is needed to run certain apps. Anyways, I went back to the original lollipop release and also flashed the same kernel and its running beautifully...
EDIT: You know, if the same activity is taking place on two roms and on one rom you get a security warning and on the second rom you do not, which rom are you better off with? Guess it depends...
Might just be my OCD talking, but is anybody else noticing that the battery icon is smaller than the WiFi and Signal bars?!
I'm hoping Samsung resizes them correctly when they ship Lollipop for the Note 3 :/
WiFi issues
Just like the other Lollipop ROMs, I can't get Wi-Fi to get an IP address so that I can connect.
I tried another clean flash and manually setting an IP address, but it hasn't worked for me.
The rest of this ROM seems perfect though

Have u try the WiFi fix ... Once u flash it u wont have any issues whit WiFi
This is working perfectly for me. Much better than the buggy cm12
This Lollipop ROM installed flawlessly with no problems and everything working that I needed for a DD. Simple instructions, no muss, no fuss. Well done!
Did either of you have to flash an actual Wi-Fi fix to get it working? I thought was was already placed in this ROM.

Yes. I flashed Filchi's Wi-Fi Fix just to be sure. I did it right after flashing the ROM, before restarting, and it booted flawlessly, fully functional. Also, all of the 300+ applications also restored without any issues. This is the most trouble free Lollipop ROM I've seen. I need to have my Gear S watch working perfectly for my work, and other ROMS had bluetooth issues. The Filchi fix addressed both the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth problems.

It is AOSP based compared to LOS (CM) which the majority of the ROMs posted are.
DU is a great ROM. I found that it lacked some important features that I like, but a very solid ROM.
Yes i tried on Sprint but there was no data...even after entering the apn in

Encryption was not working, even with a full data format prior to flashing.
Any other opinions?
I have been running the weekly and official builds with nebula eas kernel for about 5 weeks or so. I personally feel its the best non-sense based ROM for my usage. It does lack some customisations most others have but makes up for it by being super stable, fast, battery friendly and just works as its supposed to with bull. I use superSU, substratum and A.R.I.S.E audio mod with selinux permissive without dramas.

To reverse the question, can I use it as clean Android without root, passing SafetyNet? Thanks!

It comes WITHOUT root. So you can choose your preffered method or no root at all.
I don't know about safetynet as I am not using android pay or anything that relies on it to pass.
Also I have not had any encryption issues as someone earlier replied

401.4 FW and 3.1.0 TWRP. What kind of encryption issue? I did have once only rebooted into recovery and it asked for the password but I just rebooted in recovery from TWRP and it never happened again.

I've tried several combinations, with older/latest firmware.
Every time, It would ask for the encryption password on bootup.
Even if I haven't set one up.. With data format prior to installing
Anyway, got sick of re-setting apps on my phone, just installed Maximus HD ROM, and that's that ?

The 4-8-17 build is Android 7.1.2 and so far it is running really well. I am surprised that there is not a thread in the ROM section for DU.

I think it was the DU team's decision to close all and not allow any XDA threads. Someone correct me if I am wrong.

What variant , firmware and TWRP are you using?
Everytime I try that rom..it encrypts itself with an unknown password, and upon restart I'm unable to access my phone

I have had that happen when switching from a sense based ROM to LOS or AOSP and it's a "pita"... Anything that I want to keep gets moved to my SD card before I reboot to recovery.
I read through several threads and tried several possible solutions so I can't remember exactly which one worked.
I am currently on Verizon, official Nougat with the flashed us unlocked "patch", TWRP 3.1.0-1. If you are on Verizon or Sprint you need to patch the image with a missing image that is found in the us unlocked model (there are threads discussing it where you can find the file).

It was not related to the data partition.
The format user data was done prior and after flashing it.
There is a DU Oreo-based build for the HTC 10: https://download.dirtyunicorns.com/?device=pme
For the time being it is under "RC". Downloading now, will report back!
Edit: ROM is very nice and is flying by. Only downside is that camera app is VERY slow... Also, woofer is not working (as expected).
What I like the most is that it is AOSP, i.e. no LineageOS stuff like AudioFX, etc. Customisation features are nice and the experience is close to Pixel with Stock OpenGapps. If the camera app is fixed, then this would be perfect (I believe it will, since this is the first RC release)!
Further notes: Capacitive buttons backlight is off by default (can't find any standard option to turn on, maybe with a kernel tool?) and notification LED does not work either. Don't mind for the capacitive buttons too much, but the LED is a real problem.

i am facing volte loosing issue after certain reboots in every rom,
i tried swapping sim cards, flashing stock rom using fastboot and did all the ota updates, tried adding ims to apn type, adding some build prop lines and also tried vreating new apn ! still no success
not facing same issue in los by code elixir but dont want to use it as it has less customizations.
any other solution available for this problem ?
i know most of the developers dont use volte so dont care much about volte but most of the indians are using Jio som cards for calling and internet accessing purpose

VoLTE is a PIA for developer's. not just because the code is proprietary (meaning no access to the source code).
the Dev's so far have not focused to fix VoLTE for Oreo hence the issues. they focus on other major more important fixes first.
Oreo is a major re-write to C++ compared to Nougat.
VoLTE on 14.1 is stable because the Dev's have figured out a proper way to make it work. Which is not yet the case with Oreo. so if you want stable VoLTE stick with Official LOS 14.1.

How to flash stock modem .
I am on AEX.
---------- Post added at 07:50 AM ---------- Previous post was at 07:46 AM ----------
I think AOSP roms have volte problems.
When I am on AOKP os volte working fine..
Yesterday I flashed AEX which is based on AOSP.
Volte gone.
One way to get back the volte is by changing the sim card from 1 to 2 or vice versa. This will get you volte. And then if you want to change the sim cards back to original then do so. The volte will stick.
Other one is, flash the stock ROM modem or an LOS modem. It worked for me with stock and RR modem.

How to flash modem. Can u please explain
Flash the modem backup file using TWRP.
I'm guessing this has been discussed plenty of times but as someone who just picked up one of these, there a lot of old threads to go through.
I was hoping to load a open source custom rom but it seems that will disable VoLTE which I really need. Is this still the case? can a binary zip be flashed over LOS or something to enable it?
or is it only stock based roms?
either way what are my best options to consider for this phone and retain VoLTE in 2019?
I usually run LOS and MicroG and get most apps off FDroid.
Thanks!

That one seems to have VOLTE in the settings. I don't know if it's working as intended though. I just know that it's there and can be enabled/disabled.

I am not sure if there is any lineage os based roms with volte. The lineage 16 dev for this device said it uses proprietary Samsung drivers to enable volte, and therefore would take a lot of work if I am not mistaken.
Now that there's a lot of developing going on for our device, I started to test custom roms. Unfortunately there's one bug I've experienced with every custom rom so far. When I install Viper4android, wifi breaks. Is there any fix for that? Thanks in advance
