Hi,
So 7.1.2 has 3 OTAs for the Pixel. How can I tell which is the right version for my phone (NOF27B)?
Thanks
N2G47E is the one for unlocked international models. One is for some US carrier only and another for some Dutch carrier or something.

can't wait for the ATT version.
am getting the international version.
have the option to choose the UK or the FRENCH version.
which one has multi-window update?
TIA
I believe both the UK and French version have the XXALJ1 update available so I don't think it will matter which one out of the two you get.

Haha! :highfive:
Just received my new M9 from Vodafone UK - I have firmware 1.32.161.15.
Keen to try the most recent firmware updates as reported in various places believe it is x.xx.xxx.33 which has updated camera settings.
Anyone know how to do this on the vodafone UK network? Or have nay idea when it might be released?
Cheers!
Sam
I believe it was only USA versions that needed the camera update. International already had the update on release I think
Ah OK, that's good to know, thanks!

This is correct as to my knowledge
I'm looking to buy a HTC 10 at the lowest cost possible and it is currently
CAD$999.99 directly from HTC Canada
CAD$899.99 from Bell Mobility Canada
USD$699.99 directly from HTC USA
I was wondering if there were hardware variants of the HTC 10? I'm looking to take advantage of the unlocked bootloader to directly override the roms.
I'm actually on Bell Mobility so is there a specific modem I need to get to have the best LTE signal?
Yes.
You're gonna have to get the Unlocked/developer version.
The region identifier for that version is 617.

Is the Canada Unlocked the same as the US unlocked?
Yes it is. I ordered the unlocked phone from HTC Canada and I received the US unlocked version. It actually came from Indiana even.

Cool thanks, have you unlocked the bootloader, trwp, s off and installed any roms?
Is the modem also the same for Canadian carrier support?
No, I haven't done anything of the sort with this phone yet. I would believe it's the same modem as the US variant as well. Can't see how it would be different.

Is the a way to do this? I would like to convert to USA version and then receive normal OTA updates etc just as if I had bought the original USA version device.

It seems Bluegrass Cellular, (a regional carrier in my area) never approved the update to Marshmallow, and will probably never approve of the Nougat update. So, I'm stuck on Lollipop, but I'd like newer features and the security patches. If my only option is to do something like S-Off, are there any known RUUs that wouldn't break my functionality?
Thanks in advance, the work you guys do is awesome.

If it is a GSM variant, then converting your phone to the developer SKU would allow you to apply the Nougat RUU that is available. If it is a CDMA variant, you are almost certainly out of luck. Software for CDMA is pretty particular to the carrier and generally not applicable between device variants - to the point that attempting it will probably brick your phone.
Please post your OS version (Settings, About, Software Version) and we'll be able to get a better handle on what options are out there for your phone.

Unfortunately, that SKU (512) confirms that your phone is a CDMA variant of the M9. I don't know of any upgrade path available to your device, apart from the carrier actually choosing to produce the software update. I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

That's unfortunate. Thank you for your input. Hopefully they'll make it happen eventually. I'll be sure the next phone I purchase will be fully supported by my carrier, or unlocked. I love my One M9 nonetheless.
