Hello,
i try to enable autorotation on homescreen but i cant get it. I dont want to use an app or a different launcher cause i like the default one.
For the lockscreen i got rotation enabled with adding ‘lockscreen.rot_override=true' to build.prop, so i try it with ‘log.tag.launcher_force_rotate=VERBOSE’ and 'launcher.force_enable_rotation=true' for the homescreen without success.
Someone knows how to enable the rotation? Maybe in a different file or database where launcher configurations are stored, i dont have an idea where i have to look.

Hi,
is it possible to change the wallpaper of the lockscreen automatically or is there an app which can do this?
nope and nope. i would like this feature too, but nope. even if there was an app, it would still require you to launch it as there is no third party multitasking, so i don't see it possible at this stage.
Is their a easy way without root to get the homescreen to rotate with the stock launcher? I was thinking that there must be a config file or something similar that could be edited.
+1
Would LOVE if this was possible (but somehow I doubt it's not).
Is there a way to deactivate the scrolling and just set a 1280x720 picture as a background? i don't want to use a different launcher
Sorry. I don't think it's possible in the stock launcher (unless you modify it somehow).
I can however confirm that it is definitely possible on Apex Launcher.
Try installing QuickPic and using it to set wallpaper.
You have no constraints on size using it.
Hey there
My G4 is hardware encrypted and secured with a pin-lockscreen.
Now I would like to change the default app shortcuts on my lockscreen.
But I can't find any settings for changing these shortcuts...
Is there any hidden settings, to change these shortcuts, or is it a bug in the LG Android UI?

Click to collapse
You need to remove pin lock to change the shortcuts, then reinstate it once you have the shortcuts you'd like there. LG removes the option when you have a secure lockscreen for some stupid reason.
thanks for your reply
the problem is, I can not disable pin-lock because of my device encryption settings. And encryption can't be disabled without a factory reset :/
Looks like I need to wait for an other solution, eventually a dev will release a Tweak-Box app for changing all these small things. I would definitely appreciate it.
I recently reverted back to stock LP (20G) from CM12 and I'm having an issue with the lockscreen. I know that by default, LG has specific apps on the lockscreen but you can change them in Settings. I don't seem to have that option (see screenshot below). I also have the pattern lockscreen with smartlock for face detection enabled just to get Android Pay working. I've tried disabling the pattern lock, disabling the smartlock, wiping the cache, factory reset, everything. Anyone have any ideas on how to change those apps? I don't use the stock LG messaging app and don't need the Gallery to launch from the lockscreen.
Thank you in advance.
Change your lockscreen to Swipe, then it reappears in the lockscreen customize section. Edit your shortcuts, then change your lockscreen back to whatever you want.
It is on swipe. I tried turning it off, changing types, and it's currently back on.
