Hi, I have just purchased Mi Max prime 4GB/128GB version. Its currently running on 8.0.3.0(MBDMIDG) . It shows update available.. whose version is 8.1.9 {1.3GB}
but the mi website tells latest version is 8.2.1 {1.4GB}.
My question is... Do i need to 1st install 8.1.9 and then again look for software OTA update and then install latest version
OR
I can directly download and install latest stable version?

You can download latest update and flash it via miflash/edl. I also jumped my update before bootloader unlock.

no it's the Android application, we can maybe flash the application but I do not know how.
PS: an idea of how to iron from mokee to the stock rom because I can not: /

1.08 is available only in OTA
The STOCK 1.08 version is already OTA but at 25% there is an error and it can not be installed. Maybe some help?
how do you go from mokje to the stock rom please?

1.08 is OTA only. I installed manually the 1.07 and after the first reboot the 1.08 without any trouble.
For installing a custom rom, you need first a twrp recovery than do the usual way (wipe cache/dalvik/system/data, install wipe again cache/dalvik and reboot)

In v1.08 the playstore is now certified and safetynet check is ok.
Official Android P Stable for sirius has been out for a while now, but I didn't see any post regarding this on this forum. So I'm sharing it. I haven't tested it, because I've already updated to MIUI Chinese Dev 9.1.24

Nevermind i just installed it. But Google Camera still has same issues as that in Oreo :silly:

Yeah, I have a link to the fastboot Rom. You can install it with miflash. Obviously it'll format your data. So keep backups handy

Thanks , i found MIUI Chinese Dev 9.1.24 OTA link from their official chinese forum.
It did format my data.
I was trying this to get Google Camera fully working but still same bugs

Try xiaomi.eu rom or revolution os they both have French language. As mi8se is only for Chinese market there is no global version of miui for our device that means no French language

Sorry but no fastboot version for these roms, unlocked bootloader is required to install custom roms, you'll have to wait to get the code from miui to unlock your bootloader. Faut savoir être patient?.

No specialy one custom ROM, but official like the chinese flashable in fastboot but simply in global (with french language)

You can't find it because mi8se is only sold on Chinese market and will never be sold outside this country, that means miui never will develop a global firmware for this device. The only way to get a "global" version is to install a custom rom

And you had french on that 9.5 version? I told you it's impossible that you had a global version of miui installed on mi8se if your bootloader is locked. Only chinese miui exists for this device and french isn't include in china stable nor dev rom. Are you sure your bootloader isn't already unlocked? For example when i bought my phone it was already unlocked and xiaomi.eu rom was installed by seller

As karimrim is also from France ( from the earlier post in this thread ), it could be that at some point the update will arrive OTA without the need to use a VPN. Hopefully on the info you provided, someone more knowledgeable will be able to help!
