[Q] Help with ROM eXistenZ for xperia ZL

I've installed the ROM ... My phone
A few days later the phone to sleep

The official ROM I
Where is the problem
The phone will restart after 3 seconds
Again, I will restart cyanogen kernel
The official kernel will restart.
Complete official ROM is installed
But after pressing the power button logo Sony
Turns off after 3 seconds

Try flash ftf file via flash tool or Sony software.
Your explanation is very confusing. Please give detail on what have you did i.e. what version of OS you have before flashing existenz rom, do your boot loader locked or unlocked? etc...

Bootloader unlock my phone.
I installed the file Xperia ZL (C6502)_10.1.1.A.1.253_Generic US 1270-7577 R7A.TFT & Xperia ZL C6502_10.3.1.A.2.67_Generic US 1270-7584.tft
Use FlashTool
I'm not English

Your mistake is probably flashing the cyanogen kernel.

Try flashing the ftf file again or maybe you can try fix it using PC companion or SEUS (google this).

Do not install ROM eXistenZ for xperia ZL
Ok..first try locked your bootloader...
SEUS will not restore your phone if you Unlocked bootloader....
And if restoring the phone can't solve your problem, it was because you have experiencing a faulty battery...
You need to send to Sony service center for repair...
If you have warranty, first locked your bootloader then restore your phone with SEUS...

After you chose to flash the ftf, you will see wipe section, just tick all.

Did you follow all the steps carefully? Do you have all necessary drivers installed?
Emma should work, zl is a supported device. Did you unlock your bootloader for sure?

Just curius, eXistenZ actually works with locked bootloaders too?! At least thread says so. I also wanna use eXistenZ so just making sure.

okay so i was trying to install bootloader through twrp , it failed (tried clearing dalvik and cache but it still failed) so i gave up on it and pressed reboot, once that happened, the device name appeared for a split second then dissapeared then appeared then dissapeared (keeps appearing and dissapearing) I CANT ACCCESS TWRP MENU , OR BOOT ONLY DOWNLOAD MODE, WHAT DO I DO D:

Generally speaking: Install bootloader only with Odin.
You should now flash firmware using Odin to save your device. Maybe Kies could restore also.

HERE you may find firmware for your country/device, download.
Start Odin, connect your phone in download mode to pc, see if Odin shows up com-port and flash firmware in tab PDA/AP.
There are several guides on youtube/google

Cant Find my carrier
my carrier is international, only countries are on that list, I dont know which one to choose, also if im gonna flash firmware is it possible to flash 4.1.2? or 4.2.2/4.3?

Depends on your last firmware. What was the bootloader version? If above MJ5, you can't downgrade so you are free to flash eg latest 4.4.2

The MJ5 bootloader, i found one that said it would be flashable through a recovery menu

1. Never flash bootloader through recovery
2. I assume that you have had newer bootloader than MJ5 before flash, so you soft bricked your device
3. To regain full funtional device follow post #4

Crashing boot looping lines colours bad bad bad tablet

I have a tab s 8.4 sm t705 I was running kk rom I flashed LP rom and now it boot loops. The images I have attached is when it crashes and reboots. For some reason it is showing all lines and either blue or red screen sometimes.
I tried to flash twrp and it will not do it. I am at my wits end what to do any help would be a saviour

update i was able to get twrp flashed but now when i try to flash a rom i get cannot mount system?????????????????????????

It looks like you flashed a ROM for the t805 not the t705.
First let's get you back to stock.
Download the firmware for your device from the link below.
Follow the instructions to install it. This will get you up and running again.

I already tried. If you install the stock firmware from the link i posted it will install what you need. Which rom did you flash?
Or install one of the bootloaders from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-tab-s/general/t800-t805-lollipop-bootloaders-t3099362

I found bootloader and the rom is now back to stock LP T705XXU1ANG2_T705BTU1ANG2_BTU Just trying it now cheers

flashed with LP rom stock and LP bootloader still same issue as my first post on this.

Ok 2 things, which rom did you flash?
Second if you flash the firmware in the link I gave you it will solve all your issues.

I flashed stock LP rom T705XXU1BOD5 and I also flashed the bootloader in the link you give me and the issue still there? Im scratching my nogin here
any other ideas please

No need to flash the bootloader after flashing the stock firmware.
I would do a factory reset in recovery.

Hi ya, I have already done that but issue still there. Now I can boot up and start the setup process and the tablet freezes and reboots about 1 minute into setup process near where you have to sign in to google

Tbh I think you have a hardware issue.

Now new problem when I try to install twrp it will not do it, If I go into the system recovery and try to do factory reset an error shows as follows
E: unknown volume for path {/sbfs}
E: unknown volume "/sbfs"[/U][/U]
Data wipe complete.
I thought it may be battery related but I have changed to a genuine new battery. still same issue
Please please Tech God help me

I think that to but this only happened when I tried to install LP rom

Double boot screen ?

Since I flashed the open beta 8, I have two boot screen (with the big START on top/right)
One with orange google link then one with red google.
It's ok or I've made a mistake ?

@skymera - Thats not "normal" of course. If you didn't perform a clean flash or updated in the rigth way, the bootloader will show dm verification error (the red warning)
You need to perform a full wipe and flash the Open Beta again to get rid of the warning.

OB8 and 9 need to be flashed with stock recovery (preferably sideloaded), otherwise you'll get that second screen (dm-verity err).
But it's not really an issue, it doesn't affect anything.

I dont really know, probably by flashing stock recovery before updating?
In the worst case, I can back to the factory OS when the final Nougat will be available, no?

yes. you can. you'll have to go back to 3.2.X then flash stock recovery then side load official stable 7.0.

S9 crashes if it goes into locked screen [ROOTED]

Hey Community,
Im new here and got a big problem with my s9.
I rooted it today with magisk, just recovered my backup.
Then i noticed that always when the phone is looking to locked screen it just crash and i cant start it (only with Volume up + Bixby + Power Button and then there choose the reboot function)
Would be great if someone know the reason why this happens.

No, it should just return to stock

I Factory reseted now, root is gone but the problem is still there ...
it definitly came after i root the phone, someone have ideas ?

You rooted your phone without knowing how to flash stock back?
Download the stock firmware, extract it, add all 4 sections to ODIN 3.13.1, do not use HOME_CSC, use CSC instead, put phone in download mode, flash

Have you found a Fix to this? What software did you use for rooting? Did you install a custom recovery?
For me this exact thing happens with TWRP and magisk. On the TWRP Thread jesec pointed out that rooting without flashing a custom kernel will most likely cause issues.
Was hoping you may have found a solution
