Hi guys! I've a little trouble with my old Desire Eye and I don't know what to do.
My phone says that the battery is 2600 mAh, but thats not true, since actually it is 2400 mAh and was never replaced.
As I see the problem is somewhere in rom\kernel\fw etc ported from M8., cuz a lot of ROMs were ported by Mini from One M8, which exactly has 2600 battery.
ATM my phone is running Mini's stock MM rom (S-OFF), and i dunno, I've flashed a lot recenty trying to fix that battery problem, but still no luck, every rom shows me 2600 T__T
Anyone with the same problem?
Even I am facing the same problem

Hi,
Even I am facing same problem. In addition to that my battery percentage stuck with 33%(No matter the actual percentage is 0 or 100).
I even tried battery calibration app. But no luck

It's due to using an old kernel,
Try to find a newer one on the threads and it will be solved..

Hi Guys,
What's a good replacement battery for the Atom Life and where can I get it online? Stock battery is 1530mah, can we use 1600mah in our device? Please help, my old battery dies too fast nowadays.
Thanks,
Bree
Hi,
yes I was wondering about that too. I got my Atom Life with so called xp-09 battery which drains in hmm 1.5 day.
In some other post I've read about how certain ROMs can drain battery much faster than others. Do you think that's true?
Anyways ... I'm looking for better battery alternative - if possible the one that fits under original cover.
3200 mha
2200mha
Hye guys,
Just want to check with u something, is it normal that my clock got reset after I removed my battery to change the sim card in my Atom Life?
Thanks

Yes I believe Atom Life does not have internal battery.

Hello. I am having a problem with my Evo 4G. I recently replaced my Evo 4G, and I changed ROMs as well. My battery seems to be draining at 1% per 30 seconds. I can't make an hour on a 3500MAh battery. It doesn't seem to matter what ROM I try to run.
So my question is this: Is my battery the problem or is there a problem with the Radio, PRI, or some other nonsense that is running crazy and draining the battery?
Thanks!
have u tried a custom kernel? what rom are you on right now?
check battery usage, menu-settings-about phone-battery. Also download Spare Parts, go to battery history and see if any apps are hogging the battery.
The display is using 82% of the battery. This wasn't the case when I was running Android 2.2. Now that I am on 2.3.3 it seems like the display is hogging the battery. I would like to use a custom kernel that is best for battery life. Can anyone tell me which to use? I am using MikG's ROM v2.15, I think. My info is Android 2.3.3, HTC Sense 2.1, Software 4.24.651.1, PRI 1.77_003, PRL 01115 and Baseband 2.15.00.09.01. I have the display set to turn off after 15 seconds, so I have no idea why the display could be using so much battery life when it sits off in my holster most of the time. My job is being oncall 24/7, so battery life is a must. Can anyone help me solve this please? Thanks!

Also could be an issue with the battery itself. Can you try a different battery? Is the extended battery one of the Hong Kong variety? Have you tried wiping battery stats?
Sorry dude so far there are no custom kernel for any sense 3.0 roms yet cuz htc hasnt released the source code for their kernels yet but when you flash a sense 3.0 rom it has bad battery life for a few days but later the rom gets very good battery life...

That is true, took my friend's phone 2 1/2 days for the battery to settle in.

It says Sense 2.1 though. I don't even know what this Sense nonsense (haha) is. My previous ROMs didn't use it. Maybe I should switch to a non-Sense (haha again) ROM? Or are there Sense 2.1 kernels available?

Actually I did change the battery. I used two different 1500MAh batteries and one 3500MAh battery. I heard it was the PRI and it needed to be switched to version 1.77? I have that, but it still seems to suck. I did wipe the battery stats, so maybe wiping the stats caused the issue? I was told it would make the battery work better. So confused...
I just bought a HTC One X and i think the battery run out like too fast... I think i had like 10 hours web+facebook+whatsapp on wifi...
Is there a battery problem?
You know any good battery savers?
I have stock rom 4.0.4 and i'm not gonna root it because i'll lose my warranty. Still waiting for 4.1 to come to my device.

You have to remember that the we only have a 1800mah battery, 10h sounds about right.
if your concerned about battery life you can always, lower the brightness, turn of wifi 3g when not needed ect
in some cases it depend on your rom!
if i were you try ARHD 9.7.2!
I've noticed that the battery on the Galaxy S3 (a 2400 sum battery) is calibrated to 1500 Mah on customs ROMs. I don't know is anyone else has noticed this.I looked all over to see if anyone has posted about this. I've seen this on two ROMs already using battery monitor widget . I'll upload a screenshot when I get home. Is there a fix for this?

I don't know if you're talking about AOSP ROMs or stock based custom ROMs. But if you look here: https://github.com/CyanogenMod/andr...works/base/core/res/res/xml/power_profile.xml
At line 71 battery.capacity in the overlay is at 2100, which is the correct battery capacity that the galaxy s3's have.
Hi everybody...I have this phone and I have a problem. When I charge the phone up to 100% battery and then take it from the charger, battery drops to 99 or less without phone usage...And when I go to sleep and then wake up,the phone lost about 10-15 percent...Can somebody plesase help me?
Check what's keeping your phone awake during idle, "wakelock detector" and "better battery stats". Though you need root for these. You've nor given us any details of what your phone is and what ROM?? Try searching for threads on how to calibrate your phone battery.
Ohh sorry...My phone is S4 mini GT-I9195 LTE....I have stock android 4.4.2 kitkat...I have already calibrated battery and bought new battery...But same problem...
Will be an app causing your phone to wake

Not always the case... Depends when and where your phone was made. Could be a faulty kernel or motherboard but it also could be an app or a setting on your phone or an unclean install. Have you always suffered this issue?
I got phone about 3 weeks ago...and the battery was very bad so i bought new one.I also tried CM 12.1 but the phone is heating in unnormal way but the battery there is better...
You have problems with motherboard. Go to service center to replace it on waranty.
Powered by CM12.1
But my phone isnt on waranty...i got it used haha....ahh nvm,i will live with that problem.thanks for help!
Bad luck then. Normal consumption for our device is 0.2 - 0.3 % per hour in stand by.
Powered by CM12.1
How long does yours battery last with some normal usage?
Almost 3 days with moderate usage.
Powered by CM12.1
Woww thats a very big difference haha.

Your best bet seeing as unless you pay for a new motherboard is to try one of the battery drain fix kernels on here. Though I think you may be limited to certain compatible ROMs.
Why are you not staying on cm 12.1? For me it's amazing, i observed at least 100% more battery efficiency than stock (4.2.2). I also observed the same problem with high temp too. But i think we can't have it all. When i play games and the outside temperature is about 35 celsius, i do not expect anything less, because this mobile is not designed for this android version. I think that's reasonable and i finally can use my mobile with a joyful way without having my mind always on the battery stats!
Sent from my GT-I9195 using XDA Free mobile app
Thanks guys! And i will try CM 12.1 for longer time to see if anything will be better!
