Because of camera issue on this ROM, I would like to just unroot and get back to stock so I can just do OTA updates and not have to worry about rooting/unrooting anymore.
Can someone please tell me the easiest way to get this accomplished, or if there is a fix for the Camera issue. I have spent quite a bit of time researching both of my questions, but couldn't find a resolution. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Easiest way would be to find your stock ROM on Sam moble and flash it through Odin. There are numerous threads on XDA I would suggest reading a few so you have a clear understanding of the process. It can better explain it then I could. It's pretty simple though. Good luck!

Hi,
Thank you for your response. That is exactly what i thought i had to do. I could not find the appropriate stock firmware apparently. I tried one a few weeks ago, but it kept failing in ODIN. If someone could point me towards the appropriate stock firmware link, that would be awesome. Thanks again.

What other ROM can I flash from what I have now, without having to unlock and relock, or any of that. I just want to download a zip and flash from recovery.

On a side note, this may help those who are on CM13 and having video record problems. The Reason I want to flash a different ROM is because my status bar doesn't work, and I could not record video with the camera. I was able to resolve the camera issue by going in the camera settings, and choosing 1080p as the resolution, as apposed to the 4K default. Video works right away after doing that. The status bar is still broke, and I actually did a clean install twice but still couldn't get it to work.

This was my second time rooting and installing a ROM on my phone. Whatever I had used originally seemed a bit buggy so I went back to stock. However, this time I wanted to try PACMAN and after installing it I found that I couldn't send picture messages and I no longer had access to 4G data speeds. I didn't know what to do, searched the web for a few days looking for ideas and saw some people saying that maybe I should change my ROM, so I did. I tried Cyanogen Mod 10.1 (I think) and then LiquidSmooth 2.9 (where I am now). None of the changes made anything work. So, now I've seen someone talk about radios, I don't quite understand what they are saying but from what I've gathered there could be a different radio for me to download. If that's the case, I'm not sure how to do it. Also, I was told to try and put the stock software back on the phone and I can't figure out how to do that again either. I probably dug a little too deep being such a noob but I wanted to learn. If anybody could help I'd be greatly appreciative.
Also, if there is any other information you need please let me know. I just copied everything I could find under "About Phone"
Take out battery and reply with the model number of the phone.

OK guys, There is no way I am the only one with a 900T itching to get my hands on KK and X-Note 9.0. I am very new to the whole rooting android devices but I am quickly learning the ropes. I have been reading many posts were where this is available to the 9005 versions. I also know that the 900T and 9005 are almost the same phone with 900T being locked (temporarily) to TMobile. I have been searching the threads for the past week looking for the answer if anyone with a 900T has been able to install the Official Poland Version 4.4.2 on their 900T. As some help I have been emailing someone else with a T-Mobile phone that helps to specialize in hard bricked devices. I am including the emails and I hope to get this thread moving forward. If it is not possible I would like to see if there is a way to work the system to get us the X-note 9.0 upgrade.

Side note: What I am going to attempt is to install the Poland version of kk to my phone. It is for the 9005 model (which the tmobile device is). Tmobile phones can run 9005 roms with a few updates, but I am not sure about the kk upgrade.

Until we get an official Kernel for 4.4.2 for Tmobile we wont be able to install it. I even tried it last night since I've used previous X-note editions in the past. Hopefully in a couple more weeks we'll have a kernel.

A few questions since I have spent a lot of time digging here in the threads.
1. Did you install the Official Poland 4.4.2 KK update?
2. Did you install the latest compulsion Kernel?

None of the 9005 roms will run on the N900T without a official KK kernel made for our device, I have done all the research, and it has the same issues that I went thru with Vision.

Axeman, Thank you very much for commenting on this post. I have seen your information alot dieingmy research. I have been attempting to gain traction on this topic. I do have a few questions.
1: is it possible to flash the official Poland KitKat version?
2: if it is possible, what are the risks that we are looking at?
I can see the problem with not having a custom kernel. Here is a link to one that I found earlier today.

I also saw a thread today where the Canadian version is now able to upgrade to Kit Kat and flash x-note 9.0

There is a link in the q&a forum for xnote. This gives specific instructions for getting it to work on tmobile versions of the note 3. I tried on 4.3 and was successful and also on 4.4.2 successful as well. im aroma I just selected the uk version to flash. you probably already know this but I thought id post this for future reference for other members. this rom is real stable and has not gave me any issues whatsoever from version 11 to 13

The only thing I flashed through odin was the 4.4.2 bootloader for tmobile
Everything else was done through recovery
Tmobile version xnote 13
Civ version 2.1 kernel for tmobile note 3

I do recall reding along the threads somewhere that if you flash a non tmobile bootloader through odin you will end up with a fancy paper weight.

Hello,
I am having many issues and bugs like copy and pasting not working, not being able to text pictures or post pictures to fb, with my Galaxy S3. It is running a custom "Stock mod" rom. I want to re-install everything back to completely STOCK and start fresh like the day i got it... however i cant seem to find a way to do this with 4.3. Can someone please guide me in the right direction to getting either an extremely stable samsung stock themed rom or just the official Samsung 4.3 or higher rom. I just want my phone to function normally again. So sick of bugs and glitches.
Below are the stats for my phone:

Thanks in advance for anyhelp you guys can provide. Ive been beating my head against the wall trying to find a normal rom. Thanks!

Thank you!! I've been trying to find out as much as i can but the info surrounding 4.3 is rather sparse...
Here it is! Root for 5.1.1 thanks to @djvoleur! I helped a little but he did most of the work. Thanks also goes to @g.lewarne for his work on Unikernel as a couple of their ramdisk commits were needed to get this going.
This will trip KNOX. It will. Trip. KNOX. IF YOU HAVE NOT TRIPPED KNOX YET - THIS WILL TRIP IT. ALSO - you CANNOT downgrade after you take the OTA so be sure you want it.
I hope that's clear enough?
Instructions:
After you've booted into OF7 or OFE, go to Settings > About device and tap Build number 7 times to enable Developer Mode.
Go back and select Developer options and turn on OEM unlocking
Reboot in to download mode (Power + Home + Volume Down)
Use ODIN to flash boot-of7root.tar
After your phone boots you will now have root! You may also be back on stock recovery, which is fine since we don't have a working one for 5.1.1 just yet
You'll notice constant messages about security issues because of KNOX and the kernel being permissive. To get rid of these, open Titanium Backup (or your personal favorite app freezing app) and freeze SecurityLogAgent.
Download
OF7: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24052804347768984
OFE: http://1drv.ms/1LeDH1z
If you have any questions, post in this thread and @djvoleur and I will be watching. And if you'd like to send any trucks full of money, I'm sure we can arrange that via PM.
ENJOY!
@g.lewarne is the unikernel dev. Glad you guys figured it out, he's been camping and not really able to download anything so grabbing your kernel source was pretty tough.

Yes, this is root for the OF7 update. Best way to update right now since we still don't have a stock tarball for OF7 yet is flash back to stock OE2, update, and flash this kernel for root.

Which sideloaded build do you have? If it's BPE6, it's identical to the OTA and there's no need to do anything further. If it's BPE5, then yes use Odin to revert to APE3 in order to get the OTA of BPE6.

I'm on BPE6. I just assumed it was different than the official. If you say it's the same I'll just keep as normal. Better than wiping and restoring.
Is it worth it to go from PBE5 upto PBE6?

It is the same as long as you are on PBE6, all build numbers, dates and times etc. match up exactly with what AT&T has posted as the latest.
