I unlocked the Bootloader via HTCDev and flashed TWRP + LineageOS 14.1 and now in Settings I can't see an IMEI no more and SIM card is not recognized. I haven't S-OFF the phone yet.
which variant of the m8 you have ?
los supporting all variants it's just weird you have issues
are you using a sprint device on gsm network ?? it's tricky to have this work

Try this as many have solved this problem by flashing the firmware.
Relock bootloader and install the fw_6.12.111.4.zip

First ... edit your post and remove the serialno and imei
Second ... you need the firmware for that ROM but you can't do it as your device is S-On

I hope this post is in the right place .. what it is i got the M8 from China (new in box) but on arrival i noticed the Variant was US T-Mobile - my SIM does work (giffgaff) but i'm wanting to flash the O2 RUU but i do not know what Firmware to use with the RUU.

but it's said that they are for the M8_VZW, and my device is M8_WLV. I don't if they're the same, and I don't know if I can use these RUUs for my device without causing issues with the connection. I'm worried about the GSM/CDMA differences. I use GSM btw.
Please help I really need it to fix my phone.

You have the Verizon Model ID (MID) and product name, those are the correct RUUs.

No matter whatever HTC Sense based custom ROM I install, the wifi never seems to work. If I select Airplane mode and then deactivate it, there's a message in the bottom saying : Fail to load divers(1).
Even the bluetooth works fine! Just the wifi!
I am using TWRP 2.7.0.2
Is the problem because of the bootloader? If it is, please direct me with the steps to the solution. Thanks
Those are outdated firmware & twrp you have there.
1. Relock bootloader and install this : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=64926626&postcount=6
2. After 1 is done, unlock bootloader again
3. Install latest TWRP 3.x.x-x
4. Install any ROM that you like

You are advised to immediately stop trying to flash any other RUU. You have the Verizon version. No other RUUs (other m8 versions) are compatible, and may even cause permanent damage (radio brick)!
Only RUUs intended for Verizon M8 will work with your device.
