Hi.
I noticed there is a slight lag when using the menu button in my mi5s 3/64 (bottom left capacitive button), as opposed to the 'back' button (bottom right) which is immediate. Is there any way to tweak this? Maybe there's a built in lag for the menu button that can be disabled...
At least you can tell what rom u are using and Wich build....?

hi all,
how do I remap the HOME function to the MENU key? Since the soft keys are a lot easier to press,
I like to do something like:
- press once on MENU to do 'menu' (as before)
- double tap on MENU to do 'home key'
Mine is running stock 4.1.2 and rooted.
Thank you.
mike
No suggestion or is this not possible?
Thanks.
Try the app button savior.

Thanks. But that's not really what I want. I don't want a set of floating buttons on my screen...
I just want to use what I already have.
Hello all,
It is kind of weird behavior I found. . Whenever i touch at the upper most right corner, my screen gets locked n if i do a long press i get the shutdown menu.. :what: is it normal? Also with keyboard, i found that if we use full big keyboard, the swype function works very badly n if we use single hand operation keyboard, it works quite well. . Weird but true..

Are you using anirudhks' G2V5 ROM? Because that's a feature in that one, not a bug. Press clock to sleep, long press for shutdown menu.

First off, I am using the "nusense six" Rom (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2693502) and have the HTC one m7.
I have never used the stock sense six firmware but I have noticed that on this Rom, if you tap on the screen just above the HTC logo, it acts as if you pressed a hardware menu button (the menu for the app you are on pops up).
This feature is interesting, but the problem is that when I type and push the spacebar ever so slightly too low on the screen, the keyboard closes and the menu pops up. This has finally become annoying enough for me to make this post and I hope someone can help me disable this feature. Thanks!
Also if anyone knows of a relitively stock sense six Rom without this thing, please let me know.

It's just a kernel setting. You should be able to disable it using Trickster Mod.

I have browsed Trickster and can find no way to change this button layout. When I installed NuSense, I chose the option for logo button to be "home" plus "recent apps" out of curiosity. Now I want it back to stock. Where in Trickster mod can one change this?

That's not in trickster. Just reflash the Rom without wiping and select the stock option.

Dudes... Where is, or how can I enable a menu button. Pressing the menu button just invokes the split screen.

Don't know if you are still having trouble.... But apparently it's a triple dot menu button On-screen if the app supports it. Found it off of HTC Bolt forum :/
Just updated to nougat today. Home button thing is driving me crazy. It's hard to reach all the way to the top of your phone to get to the menu :/
