Current Audio HAL doesn't wake up properly audio devices from standby, causing issues with some VOIP apps. Check FAQ for Workaround -- WIP | Highest Priority -- #1
While in-call (on second call) using headphones/headset audio will be routed to the Earpiece. Enable/Disable Speaker or Plug Out/In the Jack to fix it. (Probably linked to #1) -- WIP | High Priority --
While in-call using earpiece the receiver will hear a little echo effect if volume is set to maximum. Reduce volume to fix it. -- WIP | Medium-High Priority --
Wireless Display with some TVs (HDCP-dependent ones) could cause issues (AOSP bug related to HDCP. Google doesn't provide a solution) -- Unknown Status | Low Priority --
Rarely, when you wake-up the device, touchscreen will have a noticeable input lag, easily fixable by turning off and on the display. (H/W or S/W bug?) -- Probably won't be fixed | Undefined Priority --

Where is "Developer Options" category?
To activate 'Developer Options' category in Settings you need to tap 7 times on 'Build number' located into Settings -> About Phone.
What can i do to fix VOIP audio calls?
There's not a real fix yet, so i found this useful workaround that could help you.
If you need to make a VOIP call:
1) Play something using stock music player (also third-party music players SHOULD be fine)
2) Do not pause audio playback
3) Make a call using your preferred VOIP app.
Or you can just use a Wired Headphone/Headset | BT Headphone/Headset.
This workaround should work also for incoming VOIP calls.
How can i solve problems with Hebrew language?
Go to "Developer Options" in Settings and check "Force RTL layout direction".
What can i do to reduce the "echo effect" while in-call?
Try to reduce in-call earpiece volume (if possible). Shouldn't be required on latest builds.
I'm having problems with battery life, what can i do?
1) Use "Greenify" to hibernate all apps with a "little cloud + 'Gcm' word inside" on the right of each app's name. Donation version is recommended because it allows deeper hibernation of apps
2) Disable "Location" or set it to mode "Battery Saving" (Settings -> Location)
3) Make sure that your 2G/3G mobile network signal level isn't always low or unstable
4) Deny "Wake Up" and "Keep Awake" permissions to Google and third-party apps. (Settings -> Privacy -> Privacy Guard -> Press menu button and check "Show built-in apps" -> Press menu button again and go to Advanced -> Horizontal Scroll to Device)
5) Disable "Sync" or sync only useful stuff like Contacts
6) Disable "Auto-rotate screen" (Settings -> Display & lights -> Rotation)
7) Use one of the latest Modem/Baseband listed on first post.
8) Disable Ambient Display
9) Install Xposed Framework and configure Amplify
If this isn't enough then replace your battery and/or reduce your phone usage. :silly:
Why is my phone over-heating while playing heavy-games or running heavy-apps?
Use a bit your brain to explain why. High CPU and GPU usage = high heat production. Your phone will automatically throttle CPU when needed so don't worry, it is safe and normal.
Can I use another kernel instead of the one included in the zip?
No. Only use the included kernel for 100% compatibility, bug reports with non-standard kernel will be ignored.
Can i disable S-View cover features (lock/unlock)?
Not yet.
*** IR Remote app isn't working anymore/was working on previous builds/causes my phone to crash, what can i do?
Contact *** IR Remote app developer.
Any question about "Can't connect to camera" issue
Do not "stress" camera because we don't use yet a proper implementation. (Exynos limited open-source env.) Just Open & Close Camera apps carefully without force-closing them. (and do not do this frequently)

Wow another custom ROM. Cant wait to download this. Thanks to the developers I love the dark themed pop-up menus and settings etc. The toast animations are very pleasing too.

Love the ROM, get work the customizations and options are get. Still has bugs though but its quite smooth.

This is an excelent rom, the only thing that is annoying me is the low sound, can u raise up the volume of the notifications and music please , the rest is fine and smooth, keep your good work

I'll use it for some time in order to Guage the battery life. @frapeti has solved most of the bugs in his rom, you could ask for help in solving yours. Here are some screenshots. Try usig viper. I have the same problem note 2 and s3

I noticed only 2 bugs : cannot change the profile picture and low volume(I think volume problem is in all the RR roms).
Can u guys pls tell me the other bugs instead of just writing that there r bugs?

Have been using the ROM for over 12 hrs now, its stable, no random reboots. Bugs I have noticed so far:
1. Dialer sometimes stalls when pushed too much and fc's
2. Cannot change ringer or notification tones, android process FC's
3. Picture on the lock screen does not reflect the profile picture from Google even after logging in to Google+. This I have noticed change with other ROMs
4. The exchange acc feature in gmail is absent with this ROM. This is a feature I have noticed present with all other lollipop ROMs except this one but not sure if it is ROM related.
So far these are what I have noticed. On the flip side the battery drain during use is good compared to others I have used, am using balanced performance profile.

In this rom everything is fine but this Rom has no sound, could you please fix this ?

some times phone stop give any sounds any were .... camera need some fixation i have FC when using it after using flash toggle witch its not working btw

the rom is perfect and its the fastest 5.0 rom until now .... i find a huge difference in apps installation time... in sync... in status bar... in recent page .... in finding the wifi and connecting to it .... its FAST !!

Nice to see this ROM working with 5.1 base on our device

I updated to the latest bootloader.
I updated to the latest recovery.
Deleted dalvik cache, cache, data and system.
Flashed the ROM.
Tried to flash the GApps 5.1 Minimal Edition.
"System UI has stopped" error is repeating itself in the setup menu.
Note: I reflashed everything and tried, too, without the GApps and it outputs the same error.

Read the flashing instruction carefully brother. You have not read it properly.

Nevermind, I made it work. My SIM card was faulty. It was in slot 2 but not connected properly. Will give impressions about ROM in a few days.

Read the flashing instruction properly and flash.
Secondly take out your sim from sim slot 1 and use it on sim slot 2 and let the sim slot 1 be empty. You will not get any fc.

A really AWESOME rom. Everything working for me, very fast and stable. I flashed Spirit Kernel too, and with this combination the rom became perfect to me. No lags, no erros. Using XT1069 with TV mobile. Fastest Rom I've ever used.

Mirror of what Shawn?? ROM mirrors not allowed. I already posted in the op. Wait for tomorrow a new build is coming with the msim fix and that will be on the server.

Sim problem
Hey, the rom seems to be fast and smooth, but i got a problem. My sim card is in SIM2 slot but the phone does not recognize it !
Do you have an idea of what is the problem ?

Flashing Steps:
NOTE: You should also make sure you are on one of the most recent firmware versions shipping with your device. I'll try to provide specific information as needed, and occasional flashable firmware files too.
Coming from another rom
NOTE: If you are coming from OOS, you need to FORMAT your /data partition. This is where TWRP asks you to type "yes" to proceed, and is where you will delete all your personal files on your phone. So, BACK THEM UP!
(As an alternate method, you can put the device in fastboot, and use "fastboot format userdata")

FAQ
As of 11Mar2018, firmware is at OB5 for OP5.
You may find that you have apps FCing after a dirty flash or nandroid restore. Such apps may include Email apps, and other apps that use WebView. AOSP includes their WebView, but it is pretty outdated. If you experience these FCs, and clearing data or even REINSTALLING an app does not fix it, take a look at the version of webview selected in Settings > System > Developer options > WebView implementation, and choose the newest one, in this case, Chrome stable:
Depending on the version of GApps you have installed, you may remove/replace included apps (like Dialer, Calendar) without knowing it. For this reason it's suggested to use the smallest GApps package possible that gives you Play Services functionality.
Screen recording tile:
There are 3 different resolutions for the screen record tile, indicated by the 3 "dots" that will appear on the icon. 480P. 720P and 1080P, are 1, 2, and 3 dots, respectively. Tap to change them, then long press to record when ready. Tap the flashing red dot in the lower right of the screen to end recording, or long-press it to move the dot to the other side of the screen.
What's not working:
You tell me. I'm running this as a daily driver and it's been through testing. But if a noteworthy bug arises, I'll try to list it here for public knowledge.

Magisk, yes. Xposed, possibly, but do not discuss any bugs encountered while using that. It often causes more trouble than it's worth, and if I see xposed in logs I will automatically move on.

I used the unofficial OpenGapps 8.1 Nano from the General section of the forum without issue.

You should really use 8.1 on an 8.1 based ROM.

HOW TO INSTALL:
**PICK ONE INSTALL OPTION ONLY**
**option A (TWRP NEEDED) flash rom via TWRP**
**TWRP Instructions :**
Download latest twrp zip (tested on 3.2.1.0)
Download the rom zip
place **BOTH** zip files in your device storage
now
reboot to TWRP
then
wipe data (Dalvik/Art Cache, System, Data)
now go to Install
select ROM zip and TWRP zip
swipe to flash BOTH ZIPs ( ROM and TWRP )
once is done reboot system
NOTE: TWRP will say NO OS Found
Swipe to reboot anyway
Profit!!!
(to gain root put root zip in device storage,
then reboot to twrp and install root zip.
reboot
Profit!!!
**option B ( PC NEEDED ) flash rom via sideload**
**SIDELOAD Instructions :**
Download latest twrp img
place it in your adb tools folder
now
boot to twrp
adb reboot bootloader
fastboot boot twrp.img
then
wipe all data (Dalvik/Art Cache, System, Data and **(OPTIONAL: Internal Storage)**
then go to advance > ADB Sideload and **swipe to enable** the connection
finally
flash rom zip
adb sideload romname.zip
now wait until is done
and
adb reboot system
**(to gain root you must first put root zip in device storage,
then reboot to bootloader and install root zip.
adb reboot bootloader
fastboot boot twrp.img
Then flash root zip magisk 16.0
and make sure to wipe dalvik and wipe cache)**

Q & A
Read this before telling everyone something is broken!
1. Android Pay isn't working!! What do I do?
Go into Magisk settings and toggle on the "Hide Magisk" option. Then try again. Also, I've found once in a great while, even with this enabled, it will say it failed - if this happens, just try again...it'll work.
2. It's bootlooping after flashing ROM with Magisk - now what?
Don't flash Magisk until you have already booted into the new AquariOS build at least once. If that wasn't your issue, sometimes Substratum overlays can cause bootloops. If you have anything applied, flash the SubstratumRescue zip from your substratum directory
3. Why is the built-in System Theme section greyed-out (background, accent, & fonts)?
When the Substratum app is installed, this section will become inaccessible in order to prevent conflicts. You CANNOT use them both at once!

BEFORE REPORTING A BUG:
1. Flash the SubstratumRescue zip and see if your issue is still there.
2. If you have flashed a custom kernel or ANY OTHER MODs, delete 'data/system/packages_cache' then wipe dalvik/cache, and flash AquariOS again WITHOUT any additional modifications/custom kernel.
3. Check to see if your issue persists.
*Do NOT even bother reporting an issue if you have dirty-flashed AquariOS over some other ROM! We WILL be able to tell!
Logs are crucial to resolving almost any kind of issue. You need to provide a log in order for the issue to be addressed. Please also include info on how to reproduce the reported bug if possible (maybe even take a screen recording for us ).
If you need a log extracting app, try out CatLog!
Either save your log locally and share it, or paste your log into an online code sharing tool like hastebin.com - then share the URL after hitting the SAVE icon.

I'm not quite the confident lad when it comes to the Pixel 2. I miss my Nexus 6P because of how much control we as rooting users could exert. Been waiting for this ROM for so long it had made me restless. Thanks OP, will unlock my bootloader and install this soon. Your work is much appreciated.
