Mi MAX CPU 5 of the 8 cores sleeping - Xiaomi Mi Max Questions & Answers

my Mi MAX (64g) , it shows the clock speeds of Core 1 and Core 4 of the CPU as ranging from 632 Mhz upward, but Core 5 and Core 8 are always shown as sleeping. Does this mean that the CPU utilization is at a rather minimum? Or could it mean that the Cores 5 and 8 are not worjking at all? Thanks.

The Snapdragon 652 has "big LITTLE" architecture, meaning there are 4 low power/power efficient - A53 cores for background/basic tasks and four powerful and power hungry A72 cores for the "heavy-lifting" i.e. rendering out a video, processing photo effects, loading applications, etc. What you're looking at there are the four A72 cores sleeping because your phone isn't doing much and the four A53 cores idling, once again, since your phone isn't doing much.
Try processing a video on your handset using a video editor or saving a large image from an image editor, and while that's running, switch back to your core monitor and you should see the difference.
Here's a link to some background info if you're interested: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ARM_big.LITTLE

CPU-Z has problems reading cores State, try with kernel auditor

Thanks.

Le Max: Power to the Gamer

With increasing traffic snarls, travel timings have been extending correspondingly and people have been using smartphones to cope with the boredom that accompanies such travel. Gaming is one of the most common activities that people indulge in to get rid of this boredom and if you are a true gaming fanatic with a love for games with high-end graphics, just an average smartphone just won’t do! So I recently tested the Lex Max by playing a couple of games and here’s what I found out…

But before I begin my review, I’d like to first talk about some of the tech specs of the Le Max’s configuration. The phone comes with a 6.33-inch 2K screen which is visually pleasing for anybody who wants a big screen. The 2.0GHz Snapdragon 810 octa-core chipset is a powerful processor that keeps the gaming action going without any lag or slowdowns. With an Adreno 430 graphic processor unit and 4GB RAM memory, the Le Max handles most high-end graphic games thrown at it with relative ease. As I played Asphalt 8 on the highest resolution, I found no stutter, lags or minor frame drops.
After 20 minutes of nonstop gaming, I found the temperature of the phone to be average and under the usual overheating range of other phones. If you are looking for power and performance bundled in a single package, then the Le Max fires forth on all cylinders.

Teclast X3 Plus with 6GB RAM Windows 10 Intel Celeron N3450 Processor

After many twists and turns, we come to the the long awaited Teclast X3 Plus release with a bunch of impressive features that may set somewhat of a standard specifying what to expect ahead from the incoming Celeron models.
Compact but exquisite, the Teclast X3 Plus carries a 11.6-inch body with a form factor similar to that of the Surface series. Capactive touch aside, this variant also peaks a screen resolution of 1080 pixels. Needless to say, few of us can`t get the most out from it in visual entertainment.
Performance Oriented Configuration
While most us tend to struggle with the CPU and GPU performance when it comes to a tablet or PC, this gadget teams up a quad-core Celeron N3450 processor running at 2.2 GHz maximum with a Intel HD Graphics 500 GPU built on Apollo Lake.
As for RAM, it brags a 6GB of DDR3L RAM, 64GB of ROM, an extra 128GB expansion by MicroSD, drawing our attention to the fact that Teclast has made the Teclast X3 Plus something of a performer as it was originally intended.

I see most of the people are complaining about this device while playing games like codm and other high end game throttling their cpu down so i just gotta share a trick that will give you 60fps and medium heating while gaming. So basically the main trick is that we gonna turn on battery saver as you guys so when the batter saver is turned on ithis device, the cpu is limited to use only 70% out of 100% and don't worry about the performance the fps won't drop if u turn on battery saver. And we also gonna use inbuilt game booster i.e, game plug-ins. So whenever you are ready to play a game make sure to turn on power saver and put the game in max fps mode in game plug-ins...
NOTE》Update software, game booster and game plug-ins to the latest to get bugs fixed.

on the actual game (after a few loading screen and character select) it stops at 443mhz
@Guan Yu i think i found a solution ..setting the max freq. at 840 then set the minimum to your desire and use balance mode not infinite or beyond in game spaceView attachment 5629429
