Okay, I did the best that I could and it's not currently available. I'll provide you with the following information to help you out in further locating the Snapshot without the need to post a ton of the same question in many places.
This is an archive of when the experimental was available. Unfortunately, it's not up to date with an archive download. The archive normally has a download of it but, since LineageOS just recently removed the Snapshots, it could take a little time for the archive downloads to update.
https://web.archive.org/web/20170126133756/https://download.lineageos.org/gemini
According to the Lineage's wiki link, below, for your device, there are 3 Developers for your ROM with the first one listed as the lead developer.
http://wiki.lineageos.org/devices/gemini/
The Developers are bgcngm, defer and h2o64.
The following link is to the Official LineageOS 14.1 XDA thread for your device that was created by bgcngm.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-5/development/rom-cyanogenmod-14-1-xiaomi-mi-5-t3501971
Most of the Developer Nicknames, like the 3 listed above, are XDA Members using the same names. So, if you wanted to PM them regarding an alternate download location for the Snapshot releases, your best bet is to PM them using those names.
Otherwise, the Snapshot release is not to be found but, that's not to say that they should pop up at any point of time.
I wish you the best of luck!

Have you looked at this, by chance?
http://wiki.lineageos.org/faq.html#installing-lineageos-zips-in-twrp-results-in-error-7
If you are trying to go from unofficial to official, you need to flash the experimental migration build first, then nightly.
I have the same error with lineage-14.1-20170217-nightly-crackling-signed. Download isn't corrupted, checksums matching. Never had this problem before with one of the previous nightlies.

Same problem with the experimental. We had accidentally the same error message but for complete different reasons. I guess there must be something wrong with the most recent builds for my device (lineage-14.1-20170217-nightly-crackling-signed.zip and lineage-14.1-20170217-experimental-crackling-signed.zip). Curiously Jenkins stopped after crackling (Wileyfox Swift) yesterday

Awesome, that's it. Thanks!
This is exactly the thread I was looking for. I am reviving my Galaxy Ace (Cooper) to use as a backup phone.
Unfortunately selecting my device in the menu results in void(0).
***EDIT***
Finally got it working, some download links are broken, but the latest nightly and stable links work.
Had to replace "galaxysmtd" with "cooper" in the URL, since clicking does not work.
Thanks @Ibuprophen
Decided to post a separate thread.

Hey, thanks man. I started looking for it online since I woke up this morning and I was able to find a source just 40 minutes ago lol
http://ftp.f3l.de/android/cyanogenmod/cm7.2.0-stable/
I just finished flashing the rom and the gapps, the Market app doesn't seem to work though.
"Attention: A server error has occurred. Retry , or cancel and return to the previous screen", tapping Retry just shows the message again after 5 seconds or so and tapping Cancel just closes the Market app. I tried clearing the data of the Market app but it didn't work. I also tried wiping the phone and flashing the rom and gapps again but it still didn't fix it. Do you happen to know a fix? I posted my question on [Ask Any Question][Newbie Friendly] thread hoping someone knows the answer to it.

CyanogenMod 7.x (CM7) is Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) and you need to install a GApps package that's compatible with the Gingerbread.
I performed a quick search and located a GApps package that should hopefully work for you.
https://androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=5651
That's not the only package out there but, a good start.
I don't believe that the latest GApps will work well with the Gingerbread device (it may be incompatible).
Good Luck!

Hi , you seem like the man that can pull a rabbit out of the hat . I've searched all day looking high and low for one of the last CM 12.1 builds for the LS990 . he only thing I've found is one snapshot build ,
cm-12.1-20151117-SNAPSHOT-YOG7DAO1K0-ls990.zip . I'd really like to find a nightly that was dated deep into 2016 toward the end of the 12.1 builds . I've been asking in the LG G3 areas but no one who might have a copy has stepped forward . Found this thread and thought I would ask . I'm also looking for RR too . The only 12.1 build listed on the archive page is for the LS980 . Thanks .

Okay... I tried a few of my voodoo tricks to try and locate any CM12.1 releases for the LS990 in 2016... LMAO!
I haven't located anything fitting this for the year you had provided based upon a few locations as to a record of one being released. If there was then I believe that i would be able to locate a reference to even a date and came up empty.
I'm not suggesting that there never was one released. I'm only pointing out that I can't locate any information regarding it.
Regarding the in between captures from the Archive itself...
The latest date for 2015 was made on 15-DEC-2015 as reflected on the following link...

https://web.archive.org/web/20160317092741/https://download.cyanogenmod.org/?device=ls990
I've quarried using Metadata information from locations like Google, Android File Host, the Archive and even XDA without even a mention of a CM12.1 for the LS990 released before the March 2016 release of CM13 for that device.
Sorry my friend... I did what I could and I do wish you the best of luck!

I think I've found the pot of gold here! Except I'm not sure what pot to look in. How would I figure out what to use to resuscitate Asus Zenpad C.7.0 P10Z? I have several of them and can root them but there's no Lineage for them so I end up back in the same place - with bloated Asus garbage and tablets that crawl. Guidance to goodness would be deeply appreciated!
I have HTC One M8. Flashed the experimental first. Then nightly (once a week) updates. However after doing the updates, they have been installed, but it still asks me to install them. Any way to remove them from the list of updates please?

Hi all,
I've just got Lineage OS working on my Nexus 7 2013 and love it.
However, I'm used to incremental updates and saw the build-in updater downloads the full firmware every update.
But I found this: Lineage Downloader (Premium version) by Paolino Alessandro (faq). You'll can add zips to flash after the update has been installed ie Magisk for root, and need a local copy of your Lineage OS rom to be decompressed, but better download once than every week. It auto-checks for updates, and either notifies or downloads and then reboots to recovery to flash the differences. Not an official app, but a great replacement. Thanks, dev!

Nope... I'm an early seventies child... But, close!
I purchased this a long time ago when it was the CM Downloader. I purchased it when the built in CM downloads were really slow and this app was much faster. But, now with LineageOS, the website downloads seems to be much faster for me than the app.
The Downloader app is a great alternative for those times when the website is really slow. For me anyways.

@Mako59, I apologize that I had to delete the previous post since the owner/keeper of the URL i had provided with the Snapshot build (that you were looking for) asked me not to use it as a direct download source.
