hello there lg users is there a way t connect my phone "LG K10" to pc? its stuck on "your device is corrupt. it cant be trusted and may not work properly." and everytime i connect my phone to pc it says "your device is corrupt. it cant be trusted and may not work properly." it happens after i rooted it .....
When does this specific message appears? Is your device already off?
Please be specific of the device you are using. Qualcomm or MTK? Did you use a One-click root solution like KingORoot? When do you get the error? Before boot or after? If you followed a guide on XDA. (PM the author)
You may want to follow this guide by @pvineeth97 if your have an eligible phone.

PS: If at all you don't want to make things more messy, just go to an LG service center and tell them that an update ruined the phone. They will fix it for you. But your phone will be reset to factory conditions.

Maybe a stupid question..... but have you tried to refurbish with LGUP ? As long as it detects the phone LGUP should do the rest itself, or doesnt it? Have not bricked my LG before, but have bricked my sony device and as long as it got detected by the pc it always was fixable

Thats the problem, pc doesnt recognize it :c
Hi there guys! I've got Xperia Z5 Premium (as far as my PC recognize it as such).
It is probbably with locked bootloader, cuz in fastboot it gives me error : <remote:failed command not allowed>
BUT i do not have access to the menu. I found the phone in one mountain near a hut, so far i decidet to try flashing it, but it seems bootloader is locked. Phone is locked also with pin code.
The usual methods i found need IMEI, which i do not have. If i open it, is tehre IMEI number ?
Is there any way to flash it or get the IMEI?
PLS guys, don't bother ****talking about stolen device or such... If anyone recognize it, come and get it.
SOLUTION that worked for me : https://forum.xda-developers.com/z5-premium/general/how-to-tottaly-unlock-xperia-z5-premium-t3585640
if you have find that device in a hut. its probably better to return to authorities! the owner might have valuable data in it! atleast try tracking down the owner!
however you can still flash the device via FLASHTOOL using flashmode / original STOCKROM only and you can keep the data also alive by just excluding wipes in the flash firmware area.
once booted try to find the owner info and return the device!

Hi. I work in that hut, it is in ski resort, so you can imagine how many people are going thru there. 2 months, phone was ON and connected to WiFi. No sign that someone is looking for it.
There is no owner info on the lock screen, so.... And where i live, authorities are worst than thiefs, so, that is not an option. As there is no IMEI or other info on the phone itself, i think it is unable to find the owner! Also it is foreign sim card in it, but noone calls or text.
EDIT: I've used both flashtool and fastboot, but no success. In flashtool it says "Your phone bootloader cannot be officially unlocked" , in fastboot > Failed(remote:command not allowed)
So, is this a one nice BRICK with clock on it ?!
Isn't there any way to force flash or unlock screen or bootloader ?!

you cannot just simply unlock the bootloader like that. you have to request SONY to send you unique keys and these used as password in order to unlock you bootloader! ( i.e. if the device is NOT SIMLOCKED from the origin country)
-- unlocking bootloader means LOOSING your DRMKEY/TA BACKUPS ,
please make your self aware of all the circumstances!
I have key to unlock bootloader from SONY. May be option in phone menu is restricted so this stop apps from flashing :/
I know about all circumstances.
So far i've flashed OEM rom, but now it ask for google account that was previously used on that phone, which is annoyng. Sony is copying apple or what ? Wtf happen with our android devices

it will remain mystery to me that how did you manage to have imei number of the device while phone was locked---- anyways
while device is open , goto dialer and dial *#*#7378423#*# then goto service info >>> Configuration and check "BOOTLOADER UNLOCK ALLOWED:" if it says NO then sorry, this device cannot be BOOT UNLOCKED. better to return it!
the previous google account prompt is because the old user data is intact. perform CLEAN FLASH , wipe EVERYTHING. (just tick the boxes as shown in the image (FLASHTOOL FLASHMODE , FIRMWARE SELECTED)
and a Big NO to sony copying Apple. and nothing happend to android devices! you can have easy go devices like huawei/lenovo/alcatel/(even samsung) etc. their stockrom can easily be xploited and kingroot supports various of devices under those brands. however Kingroot removed SONY from their website after Android 5.1 since they could not bypass SonyRIC from Android 6
I've got imei thru Flashtool, Emma, there it showed me Imei number.
This option with the code in dialer may be usefull with older android version, now it is unable to use it thru emergency call, since i do not have access to dialer itself.
I performed clean OEM flash thru Flashtool, wipe everything, but account lock is still there.
I do not know where to return it! It is foreign phone. I wait 2 months for someone to call or look for it. I work in ski resort and almost every day someone found lost phone. If i return it to police, they ouldn' do anything about it. Will sell it for 20euro probbably. I have friend in police department so i know what is going in there.

the startup screen first time always ask many questions about you in order to personalize your device. you can skip many of them including google account
but i am talking about fresh start. any other old user data will always ask you credentials
Hello,
I didn't read sufficient texts about software-update and I have damaged my phone software.
I have not unlocked bootloader, and not root my phone before software update.
Now on the fastboot mode I see message that phone startup fails, and I should use Software Repair Assistant to get them up.
Of course I tried this solution, but app can't connect to phone.
I installed following software using fastboot:

What I can do now? Retail Android 9 will be good solution?

Hi,
I have recently bought a T-mobile version of OP7T. Even though T-Mobile unlocked the network permanently, I still didn't like T-mobile branding at the start, plus I wanted Stock OxygenOs. So what did I do?
(No root and No TWRP)
1. I've Unlocked the bootloader via the method in this post. Stage-1
2. I have flashed the stock rom which I downloaded from this post. Stage-2
3. Phone loads up perfectly fine and now I have stock OOS. to make sure everything is fine, I also did a factory reset and re-flashed the stock rom to make sure there's no track of previous roms.
4. I then wanted to relock the bootloader in order to keep my device safe and enjoy having a normal device like any others without the ugly message at the startup.
5. So I put it in fastboot mode and executed "fastboot flashing lock" or "fastboot oem lock" and it gave me the options and I locked the bootloader.
6. after this, I can't do anything else. it keeps showing me the page where it says Your device is corrupt. It can't be trusted and will not boot and in order to get rid of I need to keep unlocking the devices relfashing everything and the rest of the story.
I've read all the accurate and inaccurate infos on forums where another guy claims when he did turn everything to stock (recovery + rom + factory reset) things go back to normal and he's done. in my case it doesn't work.
Please help me, how I can be able to relock the bootloader without running into Your device is corrupt. It can't be trusted and will not boot.
Thanks.
First I think no help is stupid, since that is the regular way of doing it. Second you should have read extensively before doing what you did. T-mobile is very specific device. What he probably didn't mention is that you need the original rom t-mobile branded, since you need original software to be able to relock bootloader. I would recommend use msm- tool to recover you device. Read carefully and next time just be sure that what you are doing is informed.
I have unlocked the device and installed everything. the phone works like a charm.
My only problem is that I can't re-lock the bootloader.

That was my point in order to relock your device you must have the original firmware that the phone came with if it's t-mobile. Installed in both slots. Then you can relock you device.
Please try this thread

After the first boot you must update via OTA, then after the 7T reboots you can go back into the bootloader and relock it. I'm typing this message out on my T-Mobile 7T running the Global OOS 11 version. _ANY_ modification to the system whatsoever will cause the "Device is Corrupt" error, due to a mismatch of the keys used by OnePlus to sign the firmware. I've attached a screenshot of my "About phone" section as proof of the conversion, however, I can't show proof of my bootloader's state because I don't have access to a PC at the moment and *#*#7378423#*#* didn't work, neither did *#*#7378423*#*#. If I remember to the next time I'm near a PC I'll add proof of that too.

Hey guys,
I recently bought a Realme X7 Pro from Alibaba and the seller seemed to have unlocked the bootloader and installed a custom rom on it. This was nice with regards to having no bloatware, but my banking apps, Widevine L1 and software updates didn't work anymore. I asked the seller, and he said I can install OTA updates. Last night, I decided to do just that. I factory reset my phone, and went into recovery mode with 'adb reboot recovery'. After flashing the stock rom, it is stuck on the "Orange state. Phone is unlocked. Phone will boot in 5 seconds" screen.
I have tried every possible combination of volume up, down and power keys, but nothing seems to be working. It seems to go directly into the bootloader on start-up. On adb, it shows the device, but it is unauthorized (because of the factory reset), so no help from that. Fastboot also doesn't pick up the device.
I have also tried SP Flash Tool and Realme Flash Tool, but with no success. Currently I have made a dispute on Alibaba, because the seller never said anything about the phone being unlocked.
Any help would be appreciated.
I have the same problem, tell me if you find the cure for it please.

Hey man. It is possible to fix it from this. I am assuming you installed a rom that is not meant for the phone (indian on china). I will send you a video on how to put the phone in EDL mode.
You will need to use SP Flash Tool (the tutorial shows how).
INCREDIBLY IMPORTANT
DO NOT FORMAT THE DEVICE. SP Flash Tool makes it way to easy to mess everything up. Follow the tutorial exactly.
Do you Chinese or Indian model?
If Realme 7 Pro is a Qualcom chipset, how can you use mediatek SPTool?
Sorry, wrong forum for me.
