anyone of you using leather case for 3T? and any recommended?thx!
The leather flip case from Oneplus is quite good except the fact that rubbing your phone in pocket or somewhere else it will give you this result.
And i have this case for 2 months

Yup. It say in description of the product. And it feels like a genuine one also. In fact i think that only those edges are covered with sort of rubber/latex that's why the problem.
If you need some real top class leather case, then just blindly go with this guy. The website is http://godbolegear.in/ and is based out of Mumbhai and will ship all over india. He uses some of the worlds best leather ( from wickett and craig tannery which is 150 years old) and uses vegetable tanning. For oneplus 3T it will look very premium and case is expensive than all others available which are not genuine leather stuff.

I am about to order the phone and I was thinking also about that case. My main concern is about not being magnetic. I had a similar case for my s7 edge and I dropped it once and the case just opened freely leaving the screen vulnerable. Does this happen with this case too?

The genuine galaxy s3 battery covers are so inexpensive! $7.99 straight from the verizon website.
I'm starting to think a cover with minimal protection that costs more than the battery cover itself is silly.
However, I do think it makes sense to use a bumper case for the phone, one with a slight lip on both the top and bottom to offer some protection to the screen/camera when you lay it flat.
This phone is too beautiful to cover it up......
anyone with me?
I agree sir. I used to have one of those barely there cases on my GS1 but it didn't cover any of the corners or the front so yeah... they don't make sense to me either unless you're just trying to protect your battery cover from scratches. I picked up this rear cover for that exact reason.

Easy.
Most people want to protect their battery cover from dirty tables as well. If you accidental put your GS3 on a wet table, the case is good. The cover not so much.
for me personally, this phone needs a case just for ergonomics. Without one im constantly hitting the volume rocker/power button by accident. at least with a slim case my fingers can go over the buttons without accidentally pressing them. They also cover the sides of the phone and add a little lip protection to the front.
I have a sgp ultra thin btw..
I ordered that cover! Same color and everything. I'm currently using tpu bumpers and waiting for that cover to come in.

I love it. I was also using a TPU bumper but I stopped using it. The cut out on the top right corner really started to bother me too much, especially after I put the new cover on.

For me...grip. The OEM battery door is so damn slippery. I also have the same the blue/carbon battery door on order for this reason.
You may ask why even bother, but do you really want to risk it. I mean these phones are quite expensive.
I use the trident aegis and am very confident in the protection this case offers. Not to mention it looks great.

I use minimal protection for decent grip and as someone else said, to keep from accidentally hitting buttons. Besides, a little protection is always better than none whatsoever.

He was referring to these types of cases. http://www.case-mate.com/Samsung-Ga...Mate-Samsung-Galaxy-S3-Barely-There-Cases.asp The ones that are technically a case but they hardly protect the front, have no coverage on the top and bottom, and have zero protection on the corners.
Verizon OEM at Samsung.com
I was able to find them for 19.99 on Samsung.com.

lol i had the exact same thoughts as OP...but thought i might put a target on myself to get flamed haha
my opinion is the same. what is the point when these relatively expensive cases provide zero protection on the corners and the front? the battery cover can be easily replaced..and cheap too. the front? not so much...in my opinion if im getting a case for protection then it has to have a decent front raised lip and good corners protection..

I just got my poetic slimline today. Have been using the ASUS travel cover and I believe I will say goodbye to that. I struggle for a while choosing between the poetic and moko. I ended up with poetic because of the 3-year warranty and the better protection around the buttons.
Followings are my impression:
1. Thinner than I expect. It works with my Samsung Qi charging pad also!
2. All openings are precisely cut.
3. The cover lays flat and securely on the screen.
4. It does have magnet to hold the stand when the cover is folded.
5. Auto sleep/awake works perfectly. Tried over 10 times and it never misses.
5. I don't need to worry about the metal (on the moko ultra-slim) scratching the screen.
More pic:
Cannot go wrong with this case at this price. It's backed with 3-year warranty!
I just got one also and can confirm its a great case, it feels nice wrapped around the device.

The first to pics show the speaker cut outs. Just got mine the other day. Nice case.
Can't help it but all those 3rd party cases look pretty crappy compared to the official premium case or apples smart cover. Wonder why no 3rd party company can hit the quality materials and build quality.
Can I ask you a question. If you open the front cover and hold the device with the front cover touching the back cover does it put your device to sleep. Mine does and I have to let the front cover hang when I am using it which is really annoying. I wanted to see if I just got a dud or not. I am going to return it for another one yet if others are having the problem I will just go with another company.

In the flesh, the Poetic case is nicely finished. If it was leather I'd stay with it. The quality of fit and feel is definitely superior to the Nillkin and it costs 1/4 the price!

Sometimes if my case is open with the cover behind the tablet and I turn the tablet on and then slide to unlock instead of unlocking it turns off.
But if the device is on and the cover is folded behind I don't have an issue.

From a business perspective, they don't see the OnePlus One as a product that is sold in high volume as its not offered by any of the major carriers. The new Ringke Fusion includes dust caps but the one on the OPO doesn't have them.

So I've been looking for a TPU bumper for a while, and all I've seen are normal cases which have a back. I'm looking for one thats just a bumper and without a back. currently i have an aluminum bumper on my OPO but i dont like it much because of the sharp corners and slipperiness.
Anyone know of any tpu bumpers out there?

I think there are no TPU bumpers available because they do not hold to the edge without slipping often. Just imagine you put a rubber band around the edge of the phone and taking it in and out of your pocket.

this is unfortunate. i think it is possible to make one though. the nexus 4 has a bumper and its completely round lol. plus rhinoshield had a model for it, they just never went through with making it.
I have been looking for one as well. I thought about getting that Orzly Fusion mentioned earlier in the thread and seeing if I could separate the back from it. I love the feel of my sandstone back, and don't want to cover it.
Looks like that might work. I think if you used a dremel cutting wheel and left a little of the clear lip around the back it might work really well.

I have one and you should be able to do that, however, it does seem like the back would be loose which means you might have to either cut the plastic from the outer edge which can be a hard job and leave some plastic left on the inside to cover the slack or fill in the slack with something else, either way it is achievable but you do risk losing £10

Just got my bumper case for the phone! Not really worth the review as these cases act the same on all phones.
So, as it relates to the Pixel, I got the white to match my phone which it does perfectly. Got the extra key covers in multiple colors and of course they fit perfectly. The case itself fits exactly right on the phone with the only exposed cutout being for the USB-C slot. Feels secure on the phone and clearly will not come off easily.
Overall an excellent match to the phone! Highly recommend
Also just received mine. Equally as satisfied as you are. Same white phone/white case combo.
Also looks great on the pixel stand.
Do you have tempered glass on your phones? Does the case cause the glass to lift if you do? That was one of my issues with the Otterbox Defender case. It fit so tight that it caused to glass to lift on the bottom corners.
I do not have a
screen protector on mine.

What does that mean?
Not unless you actually pull on it. It's a very snug fit. It's nice to actually feel the back of the phone in your hand. I had a clear case before and it's much more secure now with only the bumper since the phone itself has a good texture on the back
Received my rhinoshield order, as good as always:
