Hi!
I have been searching for a LineageOS build for my Huawei Y625 device for many weeks now.
But I didn't found any builds for it.
The last days i tried to compile my own build from the source code, but I failed, because my device isn't official supported.
I also tried to install builds for Huawei Y635, but it didn't work.
So, I'd like to ask: Is it possible to suggest a new device OR is there a way to compile a working build from source? I realy would like to use LineageOS.
Thanks!
hi
Did you try this : http://www.lineageosrom.com/2017/01/how-to-build-lineageos-rom-for-any.html ?

Yes, but i failed.
Today I tried again. Now I have a problem. When I run "./extract-files.sh" then Ubunto (or VirtualBox) disconnects my device. After connecting again, adb shows me many errors. Of 29 files wich copies adb from my device to my PC only few (3 or 4) files are copied.

Hi all!
Yesterday I d/l-ed the official HP wm5 upgrade package, containing the wm2003 downgrade.
I started the upgrade process, it went into bootloader, then at 0.1% it froze, device became non-reactive (the USB port has some contact issues). A hard-reset solved it, the device work fine, but since then when I try to upgrade/downgrade, HP Rom Update gives me the following message:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
So obviously the Model ID & Rom version & language somehow got written over.
Apart from this, the device boots & works properly...
Is there a way to fix this?
thanks,
kls
(p.s.: first post! )
Also, if I try to re-flash it using the official HP wm2003SE ROM, I get the following error message after a while (basically all other ROMs give me this, if update starts):
Solved it - installing ROMs from Pre-Bootloader completely rid me of my problem.
What is a rom from pre-bootloader? I thought the bootloader was a program that put the machine into a connection mode?
Hey guys,
So I just got this device last night. I set up a virtual linux workstation and started downloading my source from samsungs site. - My only problem is that for the 10.1 wifi model, 520, theres like one package.. Then there's the 525's package, the one ending with "UANAF", apparently my device is of the model "520", but it has the UANAF. I wanna start reading up on building a kernel and a CM port from scratch.. (I never did before but I'll see if it's doable in some way..) Would I be able to at all build a CM build from this file? And also, do I use the 525 package or the 520? I'm a bit confused as to why my build is called UANAF when on the site, that's the one for 525.. I just really dont wanna study and then end up compiling from a wrong package and then **** up my device before I really began..
Hay. - I'm attaching an image so you can see what I mean by 520 and UANAF.. Hmf.

Cheers if you have any info on what package to use or can hand me some nice starter stuff. As of now, I found out how to build the rom itself, but the kernel building, I'm a bit confused about still. I dunno what files to grab and how to compile. But I have dreams. Don't take them from me. <3
Hello everybody updated my phone to Lollipop (zip) with root. I have problem with XWidget app, whenever I open it appears these message:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
I tried to uninstall, delete the cache but solves nothing, someone had this problem and know how to solve?

But I'm on kitkat (4.4.4)
I test with my Nexus 5 and I also have the same problem. Probably a problem with the application ...
I don't think the issue is specific to Lollipop. I am on 4.4.2 KITKat and get the same error. Only way around (that I could find) is to use the PC X-widget application to push the widget from PC to your phone. I know it's pain in the a*s but for the time being, that's the only way to get your beloved widget(s) on the phone
I think this is the server down. it is works fine now.
Im having an issue with this google services.. can somebody help me?? I already have this app but is seems like it is not detected/cant update by the other app/games

Try to revert back to any working version of the issued G-app. FYI, this issue is similar to "Google keep". I have to uninstall/reinstall the previous version whenever google play updates them automatically.
Here is a temporary workaround:
Go to the below website & find your app with the latest working version https://www.apkmirror.com/ E.g.: this one for Google Keep | arm64-v8a/armeabi-v7a
Save App.apk inside the compressed file (.rar format) for later use. [&& To avoid Xiaomi Cleaner from detecting & auto-deleting]
Using Winrar apk. Install/re-install your G-app normally when required.
I hope it helps.
Anyone who has other suggestions/solutions, my ear is all hear.
I have 11.0.0.227(C432E3R1P6) version on my Matepad Pro 10.8. I switched region to China in device settings, in My Huawei app and in App Gallery. Updater didn't find any update. I've even done factory reset and it didn't help.
Maybe there is an option to manually download and install HarmonyOS?
Same problem here, been looking for a few days on if it is possible to update to harmnoyos or not. Starting to point towards no.
Guys @mimss , I don't know how long this solution will last. Today I wanted to test an app which enables to use the tablet as a monitor or drawing pad. When I connected to my tablet to windows PC(with included USB cable) the HiSuite opened and required me to update it. I updated it to 11.0.0.650_OVE. After connecting the Hisuite with the tablet, I clicked on update, It showed me a new available update HarmonyOS2, so I hit download. now it is downloading and installing (Not done yet). A week ago I changed the My Huawei region to Vietnam also the App Gallery. so you should do it to. I also have the MRX-AL09.
