I don't know why it happens. I tried every tip that was available, even amplify helps only a bit. Battery stats shows Android OS's battery usage at 38% level and there's just screen at second place. Is that bug of lollipop ? Any suggestions ?
Do a factory reset, it may fix this froblem

Do a full reset, don't install the facebook app . Disable location services if need be. Also are you in a weak LTE signal zone? If you are on Wi-Fi, try dropping it just down to 3G while on Wi-Fi. Also install only really needed apps and see, what causes a bleed.
Two more tips if you haven't already done them:
1) Turn off "wifi scanning" in the WIFI settings
2) Turn off "OK Google detection" in the Google app settings.
maybe I'm not getting something here but isn't 10 hours to 15% something of a marvel for this device? after all, each and every review I've seen for this device clocks this in at 6-7 hours of various usage (games, watching movies, internet browsing, etc.). how do you use this device anyway?
is it on standby that gets you to 15% in 10 hours? what model are you using by the way?
if it is really that abnormal to you, I would suggest checking your warranty first if it still applies.
how many of you want this kind of beast battery backup? I've 35% left and it's already beyond full day with 5hours of sot..i can easily get 7hours of sot with 2 days of usage... I'll post a tutorial if anyone want..

From the battery usage, all you did was watch some YT for a couple hours, then leave the phone sitting with the screen on for the rest, that's easy to achieve
There is nothing in the battery usage list other than YT, screen and Android system / Cell standby, meaning you didn't even use the phone during that time, you just left the screen on to get a good SoT

If they were below the bottom of the screenshot, they used almost no battery, as cell standby used the least on that screenshot
Anyway, everyone already knows this trick, it's been being posted over and over since at least the S5 days
When nothing is shown in the battery usage list, the screen was left on doing nothing
I can sit with WhatsApp open all day and get 9 hours SoT easy, that's not real life usage

whatever it's upto to you.. believe or don't doesn't matter to me at all...
It's amazing how much we actually use our phones in a given day, especially when we watch "videos"! Rate this thread to express how many hours of screen-on time you can get on the Samsung Galaxy S10+ before depleting the battery.
Then, drop a comment if you have anything to add!
View attachment 4719701The battery life is just amazing. Galaxy S10+ Exynos variant. NFC on, location and bluetooth on, galaxy watch connected. Display set to FHD+. Auto brightness. Some phone calls and Google maps navigation, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and lots of whatsapp.
2nd full day with the Exynos variant, Dual SIM on, NFC on, mostly on mobile data. I'm pretty impressed so far, Wondering how much better it would be if I had the snapdragon variant. It's not meaningfully better than the note 9 though which I was hoping would not be the case given the evidence that suggest otherwise on YouTube.
With wifi on all time and my galaxy watch connected all the time
I wonder how you guys getting such SOT. I can't even manage 4hrs of SOT. Although I don't keep my bluetooth on but my screen resolution is set to the highest, i'm pretty sure that if I set my screen to the middle option its not going to make my battery better by few hours.
Currently at 52% battery and little over 4 hours of SOT. I used the camera a lot and listened lots of Spotify. Also downloaded many apps. 50% of the day WIFI, 50% 4G+. Also 50% of the day at power saving mode. Also kept switching between 1080p and 1440p. Impressed.
Using the S10+ Exynos.
is there anyone have the snap version of s10+?

I have one, using mine on T-Mobile.
So far so good. Wifi all day first day. Att 10+
Exynos. What an incredible phone.
Exynos:
On 5th day post setting up: Build "ASBA";
In similar settings and usage pattern, batterylife on the S10+ feels better than my Note 9 and way better than what I used to get in S9 plus.
I am just amazed how you are getting this results, what are you settings for the battery, I have the same variant and I am dropping battery by the minute

Which of the pre-install bloatware did you disable, and how did you do it? Through ADB command?

Just a few(attached), disabling from the phone.
As for disabling, the OS itself has been doing pretty well at optimizing services and apps since Oreo days, hence I don't eye on adb on that part as overall, I find it less fruitful.
S10+ exynos....Best battery ever in all the phones i had..2-3h more of SoT than my s8+. This is for yesterday...stayed at home on wifi....4h of social media...1h of browsing...2h of yt and 1h of gaming...look at this to 1%
First full 100-0. Not the most impressed but I'll give pie some more time to learn and fiddle around with more settings..
Interestingly, as soon as I plugged it in, WiFi jumped to my number one usage at 30%. Before plugging in, I didn't even see it in the list (see screenshots)
Edit: SD855 s10+ on t mobile
What do you guys think of the battery life?
Exynos version...

I see but it is crazy to me that I was looking at my device on accubattery and the battery capacity is 4000mAh and the estimated capacity is 3863mAh and I have had the phone since friday, when the battery capacity should be 4100mAh.
Hi all,
I have a couple questions.
is it normal that other apps use so much battery? in 24 hours it drains around 650 mah, and in 2 hours it drains around 60 mah or so. I attached screenshots showing this (sorry for bad quality and long screenshot)
and sometimes after charging my phone and unplugging it battery percentage doesn't go down for couple of hours. for example with 20 min of screen on time and 2 hours of idle it should go down about 5 percent or so but it doesn't even go down 1 percent.
Using miui 12.5.1
i don't think it's normal at all, I too have noticed excessive battery drain by "other apps" both with the official rom and with xiaomi.eu ROM. I really would like to know what these "other apps" are so that i can disable them because the battery drain is really high on 11 lite.
It's a pity, i like xiaomi.eu ROM but because of the battery drain I decided to change the ROM and now I'm on Xperience ROM who doesn't have this problem but some important features are missing like DT2S and fast charging.
Guys, if anyone has solution for battery drain please share it whis us .
Regarding your problem with the percentage not going down, sorry i can't help you but i never ran into this problem.

Completely agree with that. Just because of that I started to uninstall apps that I use less in order to see if "other" battery usage will decrease.
Same problem here, but I don't have any clue which app causes this behaviour. Someone still on 12.0 with the same issue or is ist 12.5?
after deleting some apps (or after a while) this problem got better. now I have 250 mah in 24 hours on other apps. But now for some reason google play services started to drain much power when not connected to the wifi (or i just realized this now). It drains 1% battery in 1-2 hours when wifi is off but its normal when connected to the wifi. This is an interesting problem as well. any of you encountered it?
Hello, i've got this 12X for a few months now and i'd like to ask if i'm supposed to get more than 7 hours battery life SoT and (sometimes around 4 hrs with the annoying gallery bug) because people told me they could make it last over 2 days watching movies, playing games etc and i can barely bring it home after school. Please reply, thanks
Switch 120hz to 60hz and find out, which app takes the most energy. My phone needs the most energy for the display.
which rom?
I'm on Taiwan rom ( basically is global rom with MIUI dialer). Already deloated and turned off xiaomi ads & other sync services. I can easily reach 30h+ and 9h SOT.
Things you should try:
- Get universal android debloat. Uninstall things you don't need. Recommend tab won't cause bootloop.
- MIUI has built in ads. Google it and disable them
- Use Naptime to fix battery drain during sleep
- Turn off services that you don't need (cloud, sync, google)
- Read and do this (this is only recommended on new phone or rom, in your case it might not be helpful but worth a try) xiaomi.eu/community/threads/tutorial-battery-drain-lag-after-os-update.58011/
Using Xiaomi.eu 13.0.7.0 and i go to work with 100% at the morning. I come back with ~50% with 5G always activated and 120Hz. My usage is TextMessage, social network, and listen to music. I think it depends on your usage. What is it ?
