Check what is the system size that is being shown in twrp.
I had the same problem and my system size inside twrp was '0'
I had to format data and factory reset again.

Hello someone help me...I was using oxygen 3.2.8 f2fs.
I tryed to flash RR 5.8.0 (clean) it was stuck on patching system image unconditionally
So I rebooted and did the same procces and it was saying something like : cant mount system and data partition.
So I rebooted to twrp I did change data and system file partition back to Ext4 and I still can't flash a rom. SO is my device bricked now ?
Can someone help ?

just swipe format it , your data and system .The partitions are corrupted .
also changing the File system formats the partition . ( be careful when doing for /data )

you are on TWRP .28 right?
as its the only recovery working now for all the Open beta 8,9,10 and OOS 4.0
why you still using 3.2.2? atleast get 3.2.8 and flash garak's recovery here
also garak's recovery will work on 3.2.2 for most of the part

I did like 3.2.2 more stable then 3.2.8 in my opinion.
So I did go to fastboot. and flashed your twrp via cmd. When I did launch recovery it said ;3.0.2-0
btw Flashing 3.2.8 did work thank god. my phone is booting. Do you thinkg I can flash 3.2.2 or RR 5.8.0 without any errors now ?
And thank you very much for your advice sir

Again thank you. Yes It's stable I agree. So I tryed to flash RR (Dirty) It said : updater process ended with error 7 (So it doesn't want to install the zip file.)
I though If I do a clean flash. just wiping all partitions, and if the error is still here I can't flash 3.2.8. Then I'm also done......
You know some knowledge about that error ?
Hi, I have installed Lineage OS 14.1-20170411 on Xiaomi MI5, but i can't update to a new version
I had try install it for OTA and install the zip file in the recovery, however, nothing has worked.
i wait that you can help me, thank you
Have you tried downloading from the Lineage Os website?
https://download.lineageos.org/gemini
Try that page. Download the zip and then copy it to your SD card or internal phone memory.
Make sure you have TWRP recovery updated to the latest version.
The twrp recovery is updated to the last version, 3.1.0-1. TWRP recovey and lineage os 14.1 has been installed to the official websites, but the problem persists.
If nothing works, the only option would be to clean wipe and reinstall.
Before that, TWRP would display an error in the log. Did you notice anything?
Hey Guys,
I need your help since I failed to flash lineageOS 14.1 (lineage-14.1-20170525-UNOFFICIAL_a3ltexx_a3ultexx_a33gxx_vlw) on my Samsung Galaxy SM-A320FL Marshmallow 6.0.1.
I used Odin (v3.12.3 by Skyneel.com) as recommended and wanted to install Lineage as zip with TWRP (twrp_3.0.3-1_sm-a320f_24217.tar).
I formated all Data (under WIPE), made a factory reset and afterwards was able to mount /data but unfortunately /persdata was still not mountable.
Then we flashed SuperSU (SuperSU-v2.82-201705271822) with TWRP and didn't reboot afterwards. Still we were not able to mount /persdata. Then we flashed lineageOS 14.1.
After we rebooted, the usual Samsung Android ROM was installed again.
Can U please help me out?
Thank you in advance!
Lucas
Hello everyone,
i just installed the new oreo update from oneplus. everything worked just fine, but i lost my root with magisk.
i still have the original recovery and just boot twrp via fastboot when needed.
but after the the update i dont have any "decrypt storage" option in twrp anymore.
how can i mount my /data partition in twrp and how can i install magisk again?
same problem here ... waiting for help
You're probably using an older version of TWRP that can't mount /data on Oreo ROM.
Just download either Blu_Spark TWRP or Codeworkx TWRP.
same problem here

Dirty flash the current ROM that you are running and boot into system, then boot into recovery to check.

right now I have lineage OS 16, but I want to install oxygen OS 5.0.8, the problem is that I can not start the oxygen recovery stock, and I can not reinstall oxygen OS, because if it does not load the recovery, I can not do an installation by adb sideload

Why not through TWRP?
Please be generous with information. Cryptic posts will not allow others to help you. What is your current setup, what have you tried, what are the steps taken, what are the results thereof etc?

let's see, the only problem I have is that I can not start the recovery of Oxygen OS to install Oxygen OS again, and I do not understand why ... twrp starts without problems, the file that I provide above is the last recovery Available stock that you could find to get back to Oxygen OS by adb sideload through your stock recovery

The stock recovery file which you have may not be the correct one. The link you have given doesn't work. I only get a blank page.
I still don't understand why you can't use TWRP for flashing the stock ROM.

you have to give it twice to download to download the recovery, when I try to install the rom oxygen OS downloaded from the one plus website, it seems to be installed, but when I go to restart it tells me that there is no operating system installed
