You need to be rooted.
Replace the camera application from
SemcCameraUI-jniLibs64-xxhdpi-release
Folder and give the right permission.
Video application got some error if you update it when using slo-motion.
The original video app works perfect.

It's more than just libs. It depends on the sense framework. So unless someone going to put a lot of effort into it. I wouldn't count on this happening. Would be nice though.

The libs are inside the *****.apk file in a folder called lib , just open with winrar the apk file.

I'm pretty sure the Pixel 2 has Widevine L1 capabilities...

There's no link in that thread to the **modded** apk. You said you downloaded an apk that was already modded as described in that thread. That's the apk we're looking for, not just an netflix apk and then we do the modifications. Of course anyone can get Netflix apks, what is covered here and the entire oneplus community is a Netflix apk that is already modded as described in that thread.
All you have to do is share your modified apk that allows netflix HD playback on devices like the Oneplus 5T, since you obviously have one. Thanks!

I did read the entire thread. There is no link to an apk that is already modded to give hd playback. Just the regular Netflix apk and instructions/script to mod it in Linux. Why won't you just share the modded apk with the community here?
I've used that thread to try and build some modded APKs. No clue if they will work:

There are a few different versions based on seeing that the most recent confirmed 'success' is on 5.11.1 build. I'm pretty sure these won't work, I hope I am wrong though. Nevertheless, y'all can download the patched APKs and use one of the test videos to see.
Please don't beat the hell out of this server, it's pretty weak and will probably die with too much traffic. Feel free to mirror the downloads though and take some load off if it's getting kinda heavy.
Now we are getting 64x roms, our phone should be able to get the feature hdr+, but when i'm trying to make a picture, everything is getting green..
Is there an zip file?

You may ask in that thread. I see that he took libs from another similar device. Great work, indeed. Probably some compatibility issues because camera hw is not exactly the same. So we can be lucky that works at all.
Btw, try another camera with hdr+ support or gallery. Maybe is file format issue.

He mentioned problems with the camera. I don't know what app he includes but there are two apps you might want to try. There is a modded Google camera flying somewhere through this forum that's supposed to work with our device and the Qualcomm made Snap Cam. You should find out through Google, most likely in a OnePlus forum but it should work, on both stock and custom since both a very close to AOSP

Their last real LWP was the Xperia Loops.
