Nope its just Beats EQ and Dolby Mobile .
For me the word beats = noise distortion not sound quality.

The acid mod doesn't even work and makes no difference no one seems to notice that all it does is make your volume louder. But fail to go to the equalizer and move the bars to see if it actually works which of course doesn't work. Unless you install the Nooze Equalizer and it is complicated and i don't like it. Megabeats bass is the exact same all it does is edit the volume file to increase the volume and does nothing more for sound. The dsp manager does not work anymore after the new 4.1.2 update. Try changing settings it won't effect your sound quality what so ever. I've tried and it does not work..
This one however also does the same thing increases your volume but if you use the modded dsp manager it actually works because the lib files have been updated so that's why the dsp manager works.. In this one you can change the bass levels etc for a better hearing experience by adjusting it all through the dsp manager. Though i have removed this mod. I believe adding beats libs is like a placebo effect it does nothing what so ever. Everything is left in the sound diff file all these mods are doing are increasing the DB in our phones. Which in turn makes it louder and nothing more.
So these mods are for people who just want a louder volume. We can sit here and argue that you or the next person has added beats audio by adding a bunch of file. But can you see the problem here. You added some files to add beats? Really? I don't think so you also need the right hardware for it as well.
Anyway i will end my boring story here have a nice day everyone and to the OP good job mate thumbs up. I didn't mean to offend you at all.
Agree plus the sound problem is always the same one mans hearing is not another mans hearing . In non of these sound mods has their been any objective tests .

Hey everybody, I just made some Headphone volume boost scripts, all are tested and work, though some may damage your hardware.(Continue reading)
These are flashable zip files that will work on any recovery.
They range in digital volume from 62-68 for now. And range from 19-20 in digital volume. (63/19 only)
They are safe to flash for the most part, but values above 65 for digital volume MAY damage hardware.
How to install:
Download and flash in CWM, TWRP, or Philz
Downloads: Below
-Slight boost, choose 62/20, 63/19, 63/20, or 64/20
-Medium boost, choose 65/20- Some devices may clip at high volume.
-High boost, choose 66/20- Some devices may clip at high volume.
-Experimental Extreme boost, choose 67/20 or 68/20- use with caution! May damage hardware.
I would recommend 63/19 for iPhone like sound. Or 64/20 for loud sound, without distortion.
Aosp earpiece boost and stock earpiece was removed, they didn't work correctly, use new earpiece and Bluetooth boost!
Remember:
I am not responsible if your phone explodes, creates a nuclear weapon, makes your ears bleed, or if it stops working.
If you say I broke your phone, I will laugh at you. Please advise!
Bugs: None reported... Yet.
Please tell me if anything is wrong!
Thanks,
willi_3609
P.S. this is working best on KK Roms. And new Earpiece and Bluetooth boost are out!!!

was looking for this a long time ago.. i flashed 2 files yesterday from some1 who posted other volume boosts as well but having a more wide option available is amazing....
If i an not mistaken , we can flash multiple files one after the other, correct ?
example.. i want to boost Head phone and speaker .. so flash Headphone6520.zip followed by Speaker66.zip ? or would Speaker66.zip overwrite Headphone.zip changes ?
As i understand it both files just modify Mixer_paths.Xml, so multiple flashes would just be overwriting the same file?
Thanks for the mod !
You can use both.

Can anybody test somethibg out for me.
I need somebody with an AOSP based ROM to test my Earpiece zip. That would be great, ui need to know if it works on the D80x models
It should boost earpiece volume as that is the only lower value, but I would be thankful to have someone test it and report back to me. Thanks.

question: when i already have a volume mod flashed then i flash another kernel, the volume mod flashed will dissappear right? so need to flash the boost again..? ?

Answer: Its actually not about kernel.. But yes. It can help..
I ve tried many rome and mods .. Its definitely changeable.. Last time i ve tried sony walkman on my g2 (cloudy g3 rom) was the best sound with bluetooth.. It was as loud as cable..
but cloudy's rom wasn't good enough.. (heating) therefor i had to change it..
So one thing i m sure is bluetooth sounds can be changed..

Hey OP can you look at possibly getting this working with cm11. I know there are other mods that say they help with those volume issues but I've yet to find one that gives stock like or close to stock results. Thanks!

This works with all Roms, cm, aosp, stock, everything.
It just edits a file already present in the Roms.
Here's a mod I made up that boosts all the volumes from stock 84 to 90 ,95 and 98
Download All volumes to 90 here - https://mega.co.nz/#!71wnnKYa!RQZ8OtEuUe4ZOppKxXi94FQfj38jiNT0cBeUiNu4e5Q
Download All volumes to 95 here - https://mega.co.nz/#!P9RX0I4D!khQXXQhZXSOyD8V9MZH6PU-8NrleS7K8APYJ6IRmkvM
Download All volumes to 98 here - https://mega.co.nz/#!6ogSyIbJ!hoRhR0itt3srG9WVbGgx3Mbt5zTWZjbj0kqur5bT1wA
98 is the max some distortion on tablet speaker at max volume but most headphones and Bluetooth speakers can handle it
Download
Reboot into recovery and flash
Enjoy
Also here's a revert back to stock if you ever want to
Download here - https://mega.co.nz/#!v1hCjRQQ!dm8YNfMgpgTaKqmDA73VzHRl1sFr3jININnmHsWXOH8
Reboot into recovery and flash
And you're back to stock
Also I recommend installing viper4android apk along with this mod to enhance the sound quality here's a link to his apk - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2191223

Enjoy and hit thanks if you like this mod
Might check this out soon, but just a quick question since this is basically max volume - have you noticed any distortion or excess clipping on any particular media yet? Appreciate it.

With the second mod the one that boosts the volumes to 98 there is some distortion with the volume at max but the first not so much very little at max so I would recommend the one that boosts to 95 I only made the other one mainly for Bluetooth and headphones as they can handle the extra boost I also recommend installing vipers apk along with my mod for better sound quality I included a direct download link to the apk you should install it as a system app.

Anything over 90 will distort at high volume with the devices speakers as they are just not made to handle it I just turn the volume down the main reason I made the higher volume is for using headphones or Bluetooth speakers as they're able to handle the higher volumes without distortion

Anyway to improve the loudness of the speakers without rooting? they sound good but they're not loud enough, especially coming from a MXP.
This is an easy one. You can increase the loudness of the phone by accessing the bluetooth options... In the bluetooth menu, you will have the option available to connect to other bluetooth devices. Choose a locally available bluetooth speaker and enable the BTA option...
Hence forth your phone should sound much louder. This is a secret hack, don't tell anyone...

No, without root and without using a mod there is no way, you could use a different player and see if you can tweak the audio but actual volume will still be capped.

There's a few to be honest, any active or manual equaliser can get more out of the speakers as they are but may mess with boom sound which is already in place.
In regards to tweaking the actual max volume I believe it can be edited but results can vary and it can become unstable or even break audio altogether so I'd personally avoid that.
In regards to mods, the best one I ever used was one called acid which was just crazy, I had it on my s3 which became extremely loud without distortion, but I'm yet to see it on any other device, viper is another, team venom might have it on their rom.

I guess that if the upper speaker can be enable, the volume ringer can be more higher, the lower speaker is used only for bass and lower frequencies and for this some change in this speaker will not enough by itself for to improve ringer volume sound and quality
The V4A doesn´t fix the problem, if somebody know how to change this, welcome

I just copied the settings from the earpiece. So it's obviously not going to be loud. I have to wait for my phone to be repaired and flash a custom rom again. So I can do more testings. It was confirmed working by a friend of mine, I didn't conduct any testings in person, so I don't know how it sounds.
well, i can confirm it works fine on EvoX rom, sounds good

dec1 volume is not related to earpiece volume, its related to mic reciever that how well it recieves audio from different distance
it is no way going to effect output audio
if u really want to increase earpiece volume
edit rx1 digital volume value upto 91(safe limit)

Like I've said I didn't test it on my phone, so I don't want to blow anyone's earpiece. Now that I've installed PE CAF on mine, I could test it. However, I'm trying to get my module onto magisk-repo (aka the download page), but the moderators are so strict and rude. It'll take a while before I could update it. Thanks for understanding.

Of course, and thank you for your work. Wasn't trying to be rude or anything, I just reported what I noticed! Keep up the work!
Does this mod provide actual stereo or is it just dual speakers playing mono?

Just added the earpeice to play simultaneously, but it does sound somewhat stereo.
Doesn't work if AML is enabled.
