When I go to airplane mode my phone cannot connect to wifi. I wonder what is going on with my phone. Is there a setting that disables wifi connection when on airplane mode?
It works for me. I just tried it. Turned on airplane, *wifi turned off when I turned it on of course*, turned wifi back on, and airplane mode was enabled with wifi

The problem is that I cant turn wifi on when on airplane mode
It might have something to do with system updates that occur over time as that's what I've seen while searching through forums. I've had this problem for a few months and finally decided to do a factory reset today since I fly often and don't want to be the guy turning on all the radios just so I can use wifi...
Factory reset got it working again, but now I have to restore SMS and redo all my app settings

I am attempting to have the Epic 4G Touch boot to Airplane Mode, GPS enabled, and WiFi enabled and have GPS functional (via Chartcross GPS app).
What I notice is that after boot GPS is *enabled*, Airplane Mode is enabled, WiFi is enabled but GPS isn't functional.
However, if I turn Airplane Mode off (WiFi then turned off), the GPS becomes functional, if I turn Airplane Mode on, GPS is functional and if WiFi is then turned back on, GPS is still functional -- as long as Chartcross GPS is still running. If Chartcross is turned off then the Airplane Mode off cycle as described must be done again.
Am I missing something? Is GPS somehow tied to Airplane Mode?
LOVE the ROM. Thank you for your time!

This may not help- But I too had multiple glitches with Blu Kuban- Tried flashing 2x with clean slate- followed all instructions- No mms... either time. no internet first time. Too many hassles. Back To stable and trustworthy GB- Blend 3.0 or Blazer 4.1. If I cant use the phone- never mind enjoy the phone/rom/features- then I'll wait until bugs get sorted out.
Why does my xperia s turns wifi on when I turn the phone on or when I disable flight mode. Is there any way to set the wifi off at boot?
It will boot with the last given state. If you turned the phone off and the WiFi was on, it will boot with WiFi on. Same idea applies to Airplane mode. If the WiFi was on when you turned the airplane mode on, WiFi will be turned on when you deactivate airplane mode.

Even if I turn off the wifi and the phone, when I turn on the phone it will turn on wifi too! It's a very strange thing!
Did you solve this problem?
I had the same issue and it was fix changing the kernel. But I wish to know if thats the same problem thats on my phone.
I want to disable the cellular antennas without using airplane mode. When I use airplane mode but turn wifi on, I stop getting notifications in Hangouts. Is there a way to manually turn off the antennas?

If the device only has bluetooth, what does airplane mode actually do? Is it the same as going to bluetooth and turning it off?
If I'm at work all day and I do not have my android phone with me (because I cant) whats the best way to save battery thru the day? Being away from the phone and not doing anything destroys my phone and my watch battery. I have been putting it in airplane mode. Seems to be the best way to alleviate the issue. Is turning that on disabling any other options?
Airplane mode shuts off all radios Bluetooth, Wi-Fi . Then when you hit airplane mode again it flicks both on at the same time

The 360 does not have wifi or radios.... That was my point.
It switches off the bluetooth. When u hit Airplane mode.
And i dont think there is a dedicated option to turn Bluetooth off in Moto 360 except for the Airplane Mode.

buddy it do have wifi built in it......
Hi!
Yes, since the last 5.1.1, the Moto 360 can use Wi-Fi to connect with your phone (it's got a built in Wi-Fi chip that wasn't used up to now).
I use airplane mode everyday in my work while listening to music.
Yesterday my Galaxy A52s had a security update and after that when i turn on airplane mode the bluetooth doesnt open when i click it.
Seems like its crashing because if i click it about 20 times it may open after a while. It only opens instantly if i have my airplane mode disabled.
I also tried resetting my network settings but no luck...
What happened? Anyone had similar problems?
