Hey guys can any one tell me why wont my mobile data work after flashing nougat 7.1 i flashed like 4 other roms today because of this problem and my mobile data just wont work... what is it that im missing? i have an lg g3 d851 tmobile variant and this has ruined my entire day. how can i get my phone to read my sim card i've tried tricks like put on airplane mode then restarting the phone... taking out the sim card, and it still doesn't work i need help ASAP
Before flashing these ROMs, which one did you come from originally. I assume stock. Can you tell us which ROM and version?

When I switched over to tmobile about 2 months ago I decided to keep my g3 that I had with att and also got another one with tmobile.
My question is, can I flash tmobile roms with the wifi calling onto that phone? I would like to test roms on that phone first before flashing it on my daily phone

Just got an AT&T D850. Have been trying most of the morning to move it over to a TMobile flash. However, TMobile only has the D851, which I do no believe will work ...

Be aware of that ATT hardware does not have AWS HSPA like T-Mobile hardware.
I did what this 3 weeks ago on an ATT LG G2 using LG Flash Tools and KDZ file.
After the flash, the device booted up normally with TMobile screen. Yet, nothing worked normally, no signal. I couldn't even to settings as it quit every time. The end is a soft brick phone.

I wouldnt do that if i were you. I mistakenly flashed a D855 ROM on my D851 and now its bricked. No boot, recovery or dowbload mode. So beware.
Only D850 Roms will work for you, no matter what carrier you are on. You will hard brick your phone most likely if you try any other variant.

don't even try.doing that it will brick your t-mobile g3. i did it by mistake and bricked my t-mobile g3 beyond repair ill end up sending my g3 to lg for repair.

I wonder why it doesn't work with other variants. My HTC one I could change it to any variant without any problem but I guess its different on lg phones.

If you don't hard brick your device you will soft brick by way of corrupting a partition more than likely the boot partition. I did it with a d855 ROM and it hung on boot animation no matter what I did even after restoring a backup or wiping everything and doing a clean install. The only thing that saved my device was a kdz with LG Flash Tool 2014.

Just moved to London and got a new sim card from Three (unlimited 4G ) and it's not working (works fine with SGS+). The phone is not detecting it. I was running stock 4.4.2, tried changing network types, tried all unlock methods (anyways, it was unlocked before), tried reinstalling the whole system and it didn't help. To make sure it's not the unlocking problem I switched to Cloudy 2.2 and still have the same problem. Although the phone is detecting other networks (Vodafone, O2 etc) but not "Three", and it's detecting my phone number right.
How to solve the problem and make it work?

MAY BE IT WILL NOT WORK FOR YOUR ZVE AS THIS IS FOR ZVC & ZVC
Arthur you need to follow this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2596175 and do a little lot of work there and for your ZVE you may also need some more trick to root your device as this post covers ZVC & ZVD only. So i think some of the files are always the same in build updates as we are not moving toward modem or recovery so i just wanted to help may be it can't at all.

Did that a hundred times with different methods. My phone is unlocked already and it works with few other sim-cards but it doesn't work with Three, which is my operator now. Still looking for some other methods or tricks cause now I use my LG G2 as a player only and it's not cool.

I want to flash Fulmics but every thread says that the older versions of Fulmics didn't have working mobile data and bad connectivity for the Verizon variant. Is the new version the same? Also to root my phone and flash twrp, I heard about the tot method. However, many users say their IMEI reset to 0000000 and their phones were unable to connect to any network. How true is this? Did anyone experience this as well? Thank you everyone in advance!
Note: i am using a non Verizon 4g Sim. As of now, 4g and networks work seamlessly. Ive tried the following carriers on 4g and they all work: T-Mobile US 4g, Airtel IN 3g and 4g (both sim cards work), Vodafone AU 4g.

i have lg g3 vs985 ,i tried many custom roms and flashed stock rom with the help of tot method ,nothing happens.

The VS985 variant takes on the ROM flawlessly, but yes there have been reported data issues regarding using the variant with the Verizon network. I believe it stems from the international GSM rom built around the GSM radio interface layer. I would NOT be surprised to see that T-Mobile and others work well, but you will need to research the Fulmics thread to know for sure, as I only know that my VZW SIM does not work properly. (3G only)

Ahh alright, I guess 3G only is fine with me (I only message people over mobile data, nothing else). I'll do my research then. So text messaging/calling works?

Seems like SMS/Calling worked for me...but had troubles with MMS. Others were able to get both working with Textra/Handscent/etc but not the stock messenger app. It's been awhile ago since I tried the international ROM's and they're all kind of a blur from some reason. Not being able to get signal bars working was a deal breaker for me (travel in the states quite a bit) so I broke away. I believe the XSPIRIT is working on fixes for the international ROM. Once his source code becomes available it should open up a world of LG Goodness. Currently , the ROM's I tried were Andy's, TekCafe, LG Prime, Fulmics....all display the same problem, the ability for Verizon SIM's to completely work properly.

Aighty, so, i recently reflashed the stock rom for my Moto g6 play and i noticed that i wasn't receiving any signal at all and my phone said that the sim card is invalid, i tried flashing the rom with the different Boost/Sprint variants and i am still not receiving any mobile data whatsoever.
is there a working method where i can restore my mobile data? my Moto G6 play model is the JETER XT1922-7 Boost Mobile Variant.

I had this same issue. I have the exact same model. Try re-flashing everything again and makes sure you haven't put any additional spaces in the commands from my guide. The other option is you will have to get a new sim card and make sure you let the boost and or Sprint rep do everything for it. I had to get a new sim card after sending my phone into Moto I kept the old sim but when I got the new phone the old sim didn't work. I have a friend that works at boost so they just gave me a new sim card for free but it's like 10 bucks for a 3 pack of em.
