Talked today with htc customer support about an issue I have. he told me that they got information today that the next ota will arrive soon sounded like next days.

i still havent received the 1.29.xxx.x update, been trying every day.

Do it the RUU way, doesn't kill your warranty and is as easy as taking a dump

I don't quite understand. If i do it the RUU way, doesn't that mean i won't be able to update via OTA anymore, will i?

Yes you will, it just means you jump this OTA
And you'll also wipe the phone but at least you'll be up-to-date

[APP] Timely Alarm Clock

Recently covered by the Androidpolice, I think that this is the most polished alarm I've used to date. It is definitely worth a try.
It has a smart wake feature, along with a very clever UI that vaguely reminds me of Ubuntu OS. Needless to say, it's neat.
Also, there is a share for premium option that I am shamelessly exploiting.

Bootloader check!!!

Hello, can someone tell me please, how i can check if my bootloader is locked or unlocked?!?

I would also like to know, just purchased my LG G 3 Verizon

I think the standard way is to take a dump of the bootloader and disassemble it using an ARM disassembler.
Then, examine the assembly code for a signature checking function, and if present, check the callers/return value to see if the signature is verified to allow booting upon a mismatch.

If you bought your phone from T-Mobile, the bootloader is unlocked. If you bought your phone elsewhere, your bootloader is locked.
Based on your signature, I'm assuming you bought a D855. Here's the bounty thread (temporarily locked) for unlocking its bootloader.

Does scam ID work for anyone?

So I have scam ID enabled on my account, #664#
But so far not a single scam call got flagged.
When I had my pixel "scam likely"would show up without me looking to do anything
T-Mobiles excuse / solution was for me to add the numbers to their list.
Has anybody seen it work?
