no software update option in my One X !!

hi everyone,
i cant find the Software update option under Settings---} About in my One X , its unrooted and relocked, international version.
can anyone please help?

Have you look in Settings -> About Phone? Its at the bottom of the menu

i have .... there is no software update option

It's the top one in about phone

Okay,hmm ... Maybe the menu is disable so long no software update is available?

have you ever root your phone?
Perhaps you had some issues at last Installation of RUU? Root and Unlock your phone for flashing the last Stock ROM, try it.

the issue was there even when the phone was rooted and unlocked ... since purchase

no update option means the option is removed, either custom rom or asshole customer service want to avoid rom update issues

What you have is a custom ROM. So start by determine the actual software version no. for your device. Then search for the right RUU

That is ARA RUU which is now have the latest version.

thank you bro ... will try it out ...

just to add flashing an ruu will delete your ENTIRE sd card (not just user data) so don't forget to back up your music/pics/... I once fell for it.
EDIT: you are running 1.29.415.11, so you can update to 2.17.415.2(released less than a month ago) or stay with your 1.29.415.11

Not working WI-Fi if Bluetooth is enabled on HTC One M8 Dual Sim

Hey Guys,
Recently I've discovered that both BT and Wi-Fi do not work if they are enabled together. Could you please give me a hint if it's hardware issue or I can fix it via software change?
Tried to change other ROMs and situation is the same. I believe it's something with BT\Wi-Fi modem drivers which could be flashed separately
ROM: Wolla v6.2
Android: 6.0.1
FW: 6.16.401.101
I would be very appreciated for your help.

Booting into Bootloader
The problem is solved by installing CM 13.0. Problem was in my last FW called Wolla v6.2

This however, is not the right usage of the term "firmware" (FW). Its not the same as a ROM.

HTC 10 LeeDroid Homebutton not working

As the title says.. my homebutton is not working anymore after flashing LeeDroid.
I would post there but i don't have enough posts for it.
I'll gladly provide with more information if necessary.

Yup, i just changed nougat firmware to MM firmware in my installation and it works now!
thank for repyling anyway, do you know if i can change it to nougat at some point or wouldn't it matter anyway?

If you are s-off you can Flash one of the Nougat Firmwares from xda then you can change it in aroma to n Firmware.

I installed the fingerprint modules from andybones, this worked for me. You have to install both the default and N versions of it, at least that's how I got mine to work.
What really is annoying is that when the home button is pushed it vibrates, even if the setting is off. Any ideas?

That was from a year ago, you need oreo firmware for Lee's oreo rom. There are plenty of posts about this already. If you upgrade to oreo firmware you can't go back down to nougat right now, please use the search function on how to upgrade your firmware.

I have the 1.03.401.6 firmware version...Will it work ? The website says that 1.02 firmware version is needed.
Another question, Did you notice any bug or something like that? (Battery drain, unresponsive touch,etc)

In my case, I was on CM13 custom rom, too, so I didnt had mentioned stock version. I think that is not important which verison you have now, because before flashing lineage you need to wipe data, system....as they noted.
Just make sure that you have unlocked bootloader and TWRP instaled. I have basic verison of TWRP 3.0.
I didnt notice some major bugs. Regarding battery life, I can say that is the same capacity as on my previous CM13 custom rom, but better then stock anyway. Minor bug is flashing backlight in some moment, but its a bug also present in all custom roms. No big deal.

I think that desire 526g+ is totally different model.
Please see attached info about HTC 526G dual sim. - board is MT6582

Camera issues on nougat / oreo

Hi, hope anyone can help me.
My camera doesn't work on 2.41 / 3.16 Firmware.
i test leedroid / Viper10 / stock.
flashed an old Firmware (1.90) and camera works ?

2.41 firmware will need to be a Nougat ROM and also make sure your choosing Nougat in aroma. 3.16 firmware needs to be a Oreo ROM. Don't mismatch ROMs and firmwares. You should try updating to Oreo firmware then go a full wipe install. No one else is having this issue running leedroid OREO ROM

try Viper10 5.11.0 (nougat) with 2.41 and leedroid oreo with 3.16

It's strange that it's happening but definitely see if it's doing it on stock. I would test Nougat to see if it works and if so test Oreo.

can i back to complete stock with updates, without lose soff?

You mean HTC__001? I would keep superCID for now but if all goes well after flashing Nougat RUU you will have to change it to get the OTA because OTA won't work with SuperCID.
So just to be clear your on WWE? So x.xx.401.xx? If so here is Nougat 2.41.401.41 RUU

Which firmware have you been using?

You can use htc_fastboot. It's available on there website.

so.. i downgraded from oreo to Nougat, Flash the ruu
camera doesn't work.. test on safe mode.. nothing
only on marshmallow works the camera
sell it without camera in ebay
