Huawei Watch Vs Huawei watch 2 - Huawei Watch

Hi
the current Huawei watch is versatile and can be wear at any occasion. its stylish as well elegant. on other side Huawei has launched sporty Watch 2 recently.
Need opinions whether we should upgrade to New Huawei watch or should look for an other watch as current Huawei watch lacks GPS , and other functions.
could Samsung or apple be seen as alternatives or we must stick to Huawei current watch.

HW2 does not fit to my dress style. Also I don't like it's plastic design. Could be addition but no replacement or upgrade for sure.

Yeah, it looks terrible and has nothing to do with the original classic version. To me it looks like a scuba diving watch

HW2 is horrible and I'm not buying one. It looks **** and the GPS/GSM stuff isn't interesting at all for me. No thanks.

I do not plan to upgrade. Not something I would wear to work or out and missing much of the functionality of a workout watch. Seems like someone did not do their marketing homework.

HW 1 over HW 2 for sure - but Gear S3 classic is nice and loaded with features if you plan to use it for fitness and Samsung Pay.

Tizen can be used with Android/iOS but some of the Samsung applications like SHeath wont work because they're only on Samsung phones.

My phone is always along with me, so I don't care about sim card or GPS, and HW2 is kinda ugly in my opinion.
All android watches have exact same software and nearly same hardware, so we should just choose the stylish one

This. Huawei Watch is very fitness focused.
Smaller screen and bigger size isn't a pro either. The only thing I found better about it is the GPS.

The looks of the Huawei watch 2 are for sport people. I would buy it because it might live to see Android wear 3. Maybe. Other than that I agree that most people carry their phones around with them. And most phones already have GPS.

what about the classic HW2 ?

Yeah, given that the source article cites...well, nobody, I have a hard time swallowing it.
However, that concept is interesting--notice the 3 "lenses" at the top. Could this be a hint (or at least, speculation) of a Kinect-integrated WP8 powered device coming later this year?
I hope so--MS really needs to kick it into high gear if they want to make a useful dent in Apple and Android's market share

I actually wouldn't mind something similar to what that concept is.
The eternally continuous long list of apps is annoying to go through. I think maybe that's why iOS and Android have the different pages. There was probably some sort of research that indicated that people get fatigued by endless lists.
And bravo to the kinect idea. That would be great, and would definitely give WP a wow factor above the other platforms (finally).

Ya, the 3 corners + a round one looks conceptualike. (Notta word)
The three holes in the screen are camera, ambient light sensor, and maybe a flash or multi color led ?
FFacing flash would rock, as would a multicolor led.
I don't really like the picture, but I hope it will be announced in June. They might announce it then and release 5-6 months later, with Windows 8

Double tap, tilt to zoom, features already available because Kinnect on Xbox and Windows isn't that good, so I highly doubt it will be any good on a mobile device.

I think the Note 8 inch is more like the Note 10.1 - meaning it's not designed for telephony use. Probably Sammy's intended response to Apple's new offering.
One of the other shots shows clearly that it has, what looks like, a speaker at the top. Just like a phone. Which doesn't surprise me as much as that there is also a huge bezel. I don't see how a phone call could be made on this.

But really where do we draw the line? Why can't larger sized tablets with cell modems also have the ability to make a phone call. I probably wouldn't use it, but it should be there. I gues there shouldn't be a difference between a tablet and phone. Just Android devices with cell modems that come in different sizes.
Ere...How about.... don't buy it? That's the beauty of Samsung, options.
Shame about the screen resolution. Samsung are becoming pioneers in innovation yet the screen resolution is still low. Either way, I'm going to end up buying it.

Yes, there's also an earpiece up top for making calls, as we saw in yesterday's shots. But that's nothing new -- 7-inch Samsung tablets have been doing that since the original 2010 Galaxy Tab.

Realistically speaking....it is a phablet and not a phone...soooo why is people saying that it's too big? the only problems I hav with the device is 1. the camera should have been 8mp. 2. the design should have been a little more innovative instead of looking like a bigger note -__- and 3. What is up with the pixel density? 189? fuh real? At least 260....Anyway besides all those disadvantages I think It's super awesome and one of the best tablets yet....look past the faults and you'll fall in love *_*
I am thinking for an upgrade for Galaxy Tab Plus and this one should be ideal, but it will be used solely as tablet (not phone or hybrid whatsoever). But I want it to have tablet layout not like Tab 2 7.0 JB.

No, it won't Samsung has moved away from their proprietary connector to micro-USB in the new (2014) note.
The only positive keyboard experiences on Android I have heard of are from those using bluetooth iOS (iPad) ones. And yes, I owned one (for a galaxy tab) myself.

hopefully we'll see some good covers soon, id like to get the new note 10.1 to replace a netbook i mainly just browse and use RDC on it, for windows programs or heavy working i can rely on my laptop like i do now.
Would be nice if samsung would make one like this for the note:
samsung.com/us/computer/pcs-accessories/AA-BK1NWBW/US
Ive been close to purchasing that tablet but the hardware specs have held me back plus its windows... the s-pen and the keyboard case did make it tempting though.
I'm not making the purchase till a week or 2 prior to christmas so maybe i'll be lucky and by then they have a good keyboard case but if not i assume a bluetooth keyboard and a dock would work.... guess this is one area that asus has the advantage.

Just saw Vidonn updated their app in playstore. Haven't checked it out yet, would be interested what they changed.
Also, talked to Vidonn guys directly, and apparently they are working on a next get X6 bracelet. Still, X5 is probably one of the cheapest functioning waterproof activity bracelet you can get now.

Can it wake you up from your sleep?

Not trolling. The 360 has terrible battery life and the app ecosystem on apple's watch looks way more polished. Also I'm not a fan of the wedge on the 360, nor the fact that stuff is cut off due to the round display.

Yeah, specs don't mean chit nowadays. I prefer using my nexus 5 to my Xperia z2 or anything that Samsung touchwiz has come on, because its so much cleaner and doesn't lag. Apple iPhone 6+ may not have the quad HD display but it'll provide a great user experience. Also the integration between iOS 8 and my macbook pro, as well as contactless payments will work great.

This is the best comment of the day. Apple announcing nothing would have been better than releasing this design. Seriously what were they thinking? Jobs is rolling over is his grave right now..
iWatch was ok until they showed the thick side profile. Eye sore like the new iPhone 6.
That image burns my eyes.
aside from how ugly this device is...
I really wished the moto 360 had NFC built in as well as some of the other sensors.
That aside, you really can't talk about the app ecosystem for the watch yet... the device isnt out, you wont know how polished or unpolished they are until the device is actually in consumer hands.
all that said, I welcome the competition, it gives android the motivation for making an even better product.
