[Q] How do i install Google Play only ?

Hello guys,
I searched for this information and i could not find any relevant result for this. I use Shpongle by iceb0x and i'd like to be able to install just Google Play on it, but not the complete gapps package, because it contains alot of other things i personally consider bloatware (Google Search, Talk, Text to Speach service).
All the Play .apks i found so far are 5mbish files that only patch it from a version to another granted you have it installed already.
So is this possible ? To have just google play and dont install the other things at all ?

Thanks alot for your reply, bad news though is that it does not work. It's the apk i was talking about, when i try to launch it it closes instantly, and when i go to "accounts' i dont have the option to add a google account.

Maybe you can open gapps zip, take everything apart from play store out and flash it

I will give it a try and let you know if i get any good results
No go with modifing the gapps zip. it gives error on flash

You can always use a root explorer to go into system/apps and manually delete the apps you don't want after flashing.

i have a working Version of Google Play Store on Firephone 3.6.6 without Root !!!
But it is only Playstore, without Google Play Services!

Some apps from the Playstore Are working for me.

Haven't tried many apps yet, I can't seem to update any apps I've sideloaded, but I ran WoT Blitz and took the link to get Google Play Services, which failed to install properly
But I went to install Warhammer 40k Carnage which I own, and it worked fine
Edit: Yeah quite a lot don't work, 10000000 works, which is another game you purchase, so I'm not entirely sure if there is some trick to ones which work

I was on 3.6.6 in the UK and Google play always encountered errors. Google apps always needed play services so it never worked , but the amazon fire is 4.6 can be easily updated this is the o2 uk version http://fire-phone-updates.s3.amazonaws.com/update-fire-phone-33.4.6.1_user_461013320.bin and the German version http://fire-phone-updates.s3.amazonaws.com/update-fire-phone-34.4.6.1_user_461013320.bin just download it and place on root of sd card and turn off WiFi and data and go into settings and look for updates and your phone should find it, complete the update and follow the tutorial to install Google apps from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/fire-phone/general/fire-phone-how-to-install-google-play-t2977237 make sure and remove any partially working Google framework or services and reinstall all apps in the order from the tutorial and it should work fine.

gapss not working when you wanna install something it gives "there is no more space" error, lots of chinesee letters in the rom and keyboard has lots of chinesee letters either. root problem but if you flash supersu beta it works. sometimes browser fc

The only thing is missing here is s6 keyboard (with available languages of course)
And i can't stay away from s6 keyboard so i am back to aurura lollipop

I tried it, it support multi-language but there are some apps in Chinese, and no happy for this rom but here is a solution for this problem:
1-google "Google installer for mini v6" you will find the official website describing how to use it.
2-go to the updated Web page "you will find a link" and download the newest Google installer.
3-now install the Google installer and search for Google play store , click install it will prompt you to download the Google service framework and other stuff , install them to your device.
4-when you try to install the Google play it won't let you cuz it's old and been deleted, now Google "Google play service for kitkat" there is a bro on xda made a flashable one "forgot his name sorry".
5- download it,flash it and wipe cache, now you can use every Google app except the store dunno why hope they fix it later.

Check what I posted maybe it will help ya

all apps miui 6 style icons
Here is a zip include all miui 6 icons like play store ..
Just extract it and then go to system_media_theme
And you see a folder with this name (miui_mod_icons)
Delete it and copy my file .reboot your device
After that go and change your theme 1 time and then back to default.
Enjoy.

The Google installer doesnt download.. It fails with error "file damaged"
Installing the Google Apks manually succeed however there is no way to download through play store,

Mmmm you're using the old google installer its size 1mb of course it won't work, there is a newer one 13 mb and it works fine except the google store, you need it to make a google account and sync your contacts.

No problem flashing Miui v6.
My issues comes when I flash Gapps. I can't sign in with my Google Account. I tried an other Gapps and can sign, but Play Store won't install anything, saying i have not free space... Wrong. Clean install.

i really hate to get back to kitkat .... i hope you have plans to make in based on lollipop in the near future

Add permission manager and startup manager to phone manager

EMUI in China includes both permission and startup controls in the phone manager app. But due to google policy, it is removed from the European version.
However you can search playstore for an app called PM plus https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.huawei.pmplus&hl=en
This will add both of this features to the phone manager so you can control which apps can access which permissions.

Work fine on my Honor 7 EU

I have an odd problem. When I go to the Google page of PM Plus, I get a message that the application is incompatible with my device. I have a Huawei Honor 7 (PLK-UL00), with current version being PLK-UL00675B160. And yet the google play store says that my phone is incompatible with this
Can you please help or if possible, send me the APK.
[Edit] - I got the Apk from a post on XDA and could install it on my phone, but still quite baffled by the native lack of support for my phone from Play store for this app

I could not install it from Play Store, it simply does not appear in the list after searching for it.

UPDATE: I could download the app from an alternative site. Works fine.

{HELP} last system update stopped all google services
Hello Sir
I bought my nova 2 from China last July and had google services installed there. Now all google apps including chrome have stopped since last system update yesterday.
Although face messenger and whats app are working. And they show in App Twin Also system setting has improved.
But I need my G assistant and google maps and every thing else.
Download and unzipped .rar file but don’t know what to do with it?

I already tried to install new versions of google services and google playstore but it didn't work.
Which architecture and screen dpi do i have to pick for the nova 2?
What else could i try to fix google services?
