Hi,
I`m using my XMD (Android C2004_15.5.A.1.5) with two SIM cards active
I have a problem with the Network Mode Preselection Settings.
I`m working with two different modes for Network Mode Preselection.
On mode A without a problem, on mode B with a problem.
Network Mode Preselection - Mode A (without a problem/error):
SIM1: WCDMA (preferred) GSM
SIM2: GSM only
It is working without any problems even after the mobile phone is switched off and on again .
Network Mode Preselection - Mode B (with a problem/error):
SIM1: GSM only
SIM2: WCDMA (preferred) GSM
There is a change of the Network Mode Preselection after mobile phone is switched off and on again.
SIM2 preselection is changed automatically to GSM only mode! That change will reduce the Mobile Data Speed extremly.
SIM1: GSM only
SIM2: GSM only
Any solution for that problem ?
Back story:
Got used unlocked rooted Galaxy Nexus Toro from friend
Wiped
Tried updating to newer Cyanogen Mod - Failed
Found out b/c old recovery version
Updated Recovery to TWRP v2.8.7.0
Flashed CM 11-20140913-NIGHTLY-toro AV:4.4.4
Flashed Gapps from OpenGapps Aroma
connected to wifi and completely configured
The Problem:
After I left wifi coverage I realized I had no mobile data
can make calls but no internet or mms
No LTE icon but white bars do show signal
when i drop down the quick access menu the bars are orange
under settings>about phone> status
Network: Verizon Wireless
Signal strength: -93dBm 2asu
Mobile Network type: CDMA eHRPD
Service state: in service
Roaming: not roaming
Mobile Network state: Disconnected
under testing menu> Phone information
Signal strength: -93dBm 2asu
Neighboring CID: unknown
GSM service: In service
GPRS service: Disconnected
Network Type: 1xRTT
Radio Resets: 0
Data attempts: 0
Data successes: 0
Preferred network type: LTE/GSM/CDMA auto (PRL)
Things tried:
Set APN manually
Reset APN to default
Made sure data is enabled
Dialed *228
Went to Verizon and got new SIM installed/activated
At this point I have no ideas. I would really preffer to not flash my phone seeing as I have it completely set up how I like it, also from what I've read that likely won't help. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I just installed the HTC_One_M8_GPe_Marshmallow-6.0_MRA58K.H14_AROMA-Installer.zip on my HTC Verizon M8. After doing so I can only get data via Wifi, it does not connect to 3g or 4g. I was wondering if this is a known issue if someone could direct me on what steps I should take to troubleshoot. I should mention that even though its a verizon phone I am using Smart talk.
Here are my current settings:
Preferred network Type: Global
CDMA Subscription: RUIM/SIM
Access Point Names : VZWINTERNET.
Network Operators : receive "Error while searching networks"
SIM status -> Cellular network state : disconnected
You used this version? http://forum.xda-developers.com/verizon-htc-one-m8/development/rom-vzw-stock-gpe-5-1-lmy47o-h9-t3212413
Did you do as the thread states:
[*] If you have issues with 3g/LTE data hand off, do a full RUU and do a factory reset with the stock recovery. Alternatively just flash the stock recovery and do a factory reset. Theory is the stock recovery rebuilds NV data. Getting a new SIM card has also been reported to work. Calling customer service and asking them to reset your connection has also been reported to help.
I'm having similar issues but I'm using page plus(Verizon network with Verizon m8 and only text and calls work but no data. Also using Verizon APN any suggestions
Hello,
i have some problem with my nexus 5Xwith cyanogenmod 13.
Problem was started when i download application Field Test for Nexus 5x/6p
In lte data menu i try change LTE On/Off and change disable and enable band 26 and 41.
From this time all LTE not working. - maybe some parameters was change in modem.
Serveral times i try reflash original rom and CM13 and reflash radio...
I install application QPST and QXDM and in NV browser i have on line : 06828 and 06829 value : 1786875150815
I dont now if this value is correct, but if i try put new value according NV calculator or some numbers from this forum, whitch i found. New values is saved in phone only while i make reboot the phone and LTE still not working.
Backup original NV values i dont have.
Can somebody help me please ?

Just a quick question. Why were you trying to change LTE On/Off in the Engineering Screen? Were you only trying to enable LTE bands or did you have a problem with your data connection? If you were having data problems before downloading the Field Test app, did you know there are some know data issues with CM13. Did you lose your LTE connection?
Also, what gave you the idea to download QPST & QDXM? Do you have prior experience with these applications?
Also, since you have CM13 installed on your 5x, did you try and restore a backup in TWRP that you have saved to see if it corrected your problem?
Which carrier are you with?

Hello,
thank you for your answare, and sorry for my english.
Before problem phone was new and all was worked, but i tryed make some changes, because i searching solution for changng band and editing priority for diferrent LTE band.
Now my problem with no connection on lte is solve, i write zeros to partition modem1 and modem2 from modem filesystem and modem itself after restart phone reset factory setting, but i dont now where modem took IMEI, because i think IMEI is save on this partition...
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
But i still dont understed why, after reboot changes on line ID 06828 and ID 06829 comming back originaly number .
Bestest solution for me wold be if i find in NV parameter band priority according signal strenght. Or some application (IN Phone) for disabling and enabling all LTE band without computer.
My most-used bands is : 800,1800,2600Mhz

Shortcut Master Lite in the Play Store will allow you to access the LTE Engineering to set band priority. Open the app and click the 3-dot menu In the top right corner. Click on "secret code explorer" and allow the list to populate. You will be looking for a numbered code like "3282” or "33284". Click on each one, select explore from the menu and look thru each selection. The one you will be looking for will say something like Sprint LTE bands editor. You can enable bands 25, 26 & 41 and set band priority. When asked to enter your MSL, enter 000000 and tap verify. You can figure the app out. It takes a little time to get used to how the app works. Good luck and let me know if you need any more help.
P.S. I dont know why you would start changing NV values without any experience using QPST & QDXM. You can make a mistake very easily. Be careful when making changes. I would start fresh by fastboot flashing the factory images, bootloader and radio and start over. Just my opinion.
What carrier are you with and where are you located?

Why i start Edit without experience ? It is easy, because i need get experience
Band 25,26 And 41 is not important for me.
I need disable and enable and set priority for 800 1800 and 2600mhz, quickly from the phone...
My location is czech republic and switzerland.
Sorry, for my bad Englisg.
On stock firmware, when I change network mode to EVDO only, its everytime save this mode. I am enable and disable airplane mode, reboot phone, but network mode EVDO only everytime.
On all Cyanogenmod versions I setup EVDO only and change airplane mode or reboot phone, its automatically change network mode to WCDMA preffered or CDMA/LTE.
Cyanogenmod/LinageOS Roms has way to save selected network mode after reboot or change airplane mode? Or maybe its has adb commands to change network mode from CMD ?
Thanks
