Qualcomm fast charge for zenfone 2

So the thing is, I wanted ro buy a quick charge adaptor for my zenfone...so I needed to know which adaptor should I buy ???? Will Qualcomm certified charger work on my device???
Or I have to buy some other adaptor
And my phone supports quick charge...

yes any old quickcharge 2.0 charger should work.

will QC (2.0\3.0) will work with OP3?

hey there.. as the question goes.. if i have charger branded for QC 3.0/2.0 from qualcomm, will it charge fast the Oneplus 3?
cause SD820 should be embedded with that tech.
If someone can test it, and tell how long it charges.. would be great

You will not get fast charging with a QC charger, only up to ~2A.
OP3 does not support QC.

i currently own OPO, it doesnt have QC enabled, but i do charge at 5V/1A with QC charger.

OP3’s quick charge is VOOC, which belong to OPPO, not support QC

can anyone test to confirm, that at least we'll have 5V/2A?

Where can I buy a new USB/car/charger?

I'm realising its not easy to find these. Am reading that I need 3.0 quick charge 'c' type. Don't know why ZTE USA can't just sell these! Where can I buy Axon 7 compatible charger? Thanks

So where do I get the c type USB cable?...obviously want to make sure it's fast charge compatible.

Fwiw there's a quick charge 3.0 compatibility PDF on Qualcomm's site which gives specific model numbers of chargers

I go for AUKEY or ANKER recharger. No problems on both

LG makes decent products, even they can not compete with Samsung, but it helps to improve the diversity of the market!

so did you get the Q.C 4.0 charger? did it charge faster? you might need a USB PD charger that can do at-least 21 watts.

LG is just imitating Samsung here, they did the exact same thing with my S8. I only ever fast charged that phone on my laptop.
I wonder if they're secretly trying to extend battery life, isn't fast charge rough on a battery?

I do have the fast charger in my car I cannot say it charges any faster but I don't know if it's certified by Qualcomm. I got it from Amazon

There seems to be disagreement between Qualcomm and LG. On LG's website it says G8 is QC3.0 in "Power & Performance" section of their Specs page, while QualComm lists G8 as capable of QC4.0 (but not 4.0+).

Which charger did you get and how well does it work?

Old post, worth insisting.
Bought G8, Korean, bit it's the same, only some different bands.
Like previously said I've read QC 3 on LG US website, but QC 4+ on Qualcomm.
I've bought two Hama wall chargers, 3 and 4+.
I also use the 65W PD charger of my laptop.
All three have same exact charging time.
So, how can this be?
Shouldn't 4+ be faster than 3?
If yes, than the G8 it's indeed only QC 3...

Has anyone tried a QC 4 charger yet? How does USB PD speeds compare to QC 3/4? I'm coming from OnePlus and debating about what charger(s) to buy. What's been the fastest chargers?

Confirm this has QC3.0?

I know that there is a teardown showing a QC 3.0 charge controller in the phone, but has anyone actually tried charging it with a QC 3.0 (and maybe 2.0) charger? Can you confirm that it does still charge fairly quickly? Don't really want to change all my QC chargers and powerbank. It will be a bonus if someone can test it with a Huawei FCP charger too as that charge my Mi8 Lite (QC 3.0) fast too.
