Please suggest me.....Now I'm on oos 4.0.3
Open beta 12

OB12
Sent from my ONEPLUS A3003 using XDA Labs
OB12 is 7.1.1 while 4.0.3 is 7.0 so you get the latest updates and features. I cant tell about battery or performance as I have not personally used OB12 yet
The one thing about OB12 is that there are no custom kernels for it yet
OB12
4.0.3 stable, nugat 7.0
ob12 testing, nugat 7.1.1, security pach 01.03.2017.
Which has better battery life?

OB 12 battery life isn't the best for me and probably wont be till we get some custom kernels. It gets better after the first full battery cycle but it's still not great.
battery seemed to be better for me going from 4.0.3 to OB12, u can always use AKT to help also
I think, 4.0.3 doesn't have long screenshot feature. on the other hand, ob 12 has.
About custom kernels: blu_spark for OB12 is released!

I upgraded my VZW note 4 to MM last week and found that battery life was horrible even after using package disabler to stop a lot of bloatware and after a factory reset. I was getting no more than 50% deep sleep and losing about 1.7% battery / hr. I flashed back to 5.1.1 and those problems are now gone. If I go back to MM and root it and install JasmineRom what kind of battery life are people getting. I know that not everyone had bad battery stats with stock MM but many were. For anyone that has rooted and applied JasmineRom what kind of stats are you seeing?
This shouldn't be in development

agreed, not a development post at all lol.
but to answer his question, battery life varies by device, user, build, usage, everything so its impossible to see what others get and expect the same.

Which one do you recommend?

It depends in end user..
Stability - stock based kernel
I have had the first release of 3.2.4 (the one with a little worse battery life and performance). What should/could i flash over the latest ElementalX kernel (0.14) to get most out of my device in performance and hopefully better battery life? (I want to stay Close OOS so i can make full use of the camera until CM has catched up.)
I like PureCM (with the rom it comes with)
I'm using 3.2.2 w/ ElementalX atm to test.

The camera is flawed compared to OOS cam. I want that app in my rom, otherwise i have no demands.
Any of the stock based ROMs should be just fine really.

"Good" is very relative. I want it to be as best as can be for now. And that is using stock Camera app. Dont know if there are any More roms than hydrogen, op3lite?

If camera quality is your main concern the best bet in my opinion is FreedomOS, a debloated and optimized version of OxygenOS.

Try Sultan's CM ROM for good camera quality and Arter 97's kernel. Working well for me and it's smooth and battery-friendly.

I did. That's why I suggested Sultan's CM ROM because it has the best camera quality for CM-based ROMs. If you can't take any suggestions, stick with OOS. Simple.

Sure, but i though it was obvious that i wanted the stock app
OOS is pretty stable and the battery is good. But, I don't like OOS.
I've tried to use the stable CM 13 from Aug. but the touchscreen freezes regularly. The nightly also has problems such as never re-connecting to wifi.
Thoughts?
IMO a custom kernel with some tweaks can do a great job. Light underclocking using different governors etc.

NucleaROM and I'll tell you why.
Responsive devs.
The best battery life of all ROM's by far.
Stable.
OOS camera port.
sultan's CM-rom is really solid, but i prefer OOS for the camera and performance
OrionOS. AOSP, latest security patches, Lots of customization.

Have you compared the same scenes? I noticed that without OOS the camera can have terrible noise and "muddy" details. Even on sultanxda CM.

Does nucleaROM use the OOS camera Hal or just the camera app? There's a big difference.

I'd love to see some low-light comparisons, since that's where OOS far exceeds other roms with or without the port.

Yeah, seems to be an app port but I don't think you're getting the same quality as OOS. Hopefully oneplus will help get this working for those of us who prefer CM roms ?

Of course, the CM roms camera is terrible.. but the OOS port is not. I take high quality photos daily.

Same build as you, no freezes and decent battery life here. Maybe you should investigate some of the apps you have installed ?

Yeah, just uninstalled xposed. Will report back if the issue persists. By the way are there any stable ROMs for ether?
Sent from my ONE E1003 using Tapatalk
You should read on the latest pages of the ROM threads.
I mean omni looks pretty cool. Thinking about switching over this weekend
Your issues might not be ROM related, there are a lot of app issues and inter-app compatibility issues that will cause those symptoms. I would say to Backup and Factory Reset, then load your apps one-at-a-time until you have the lockups/freezing.

Seems like PA is the most stable right now with 6.0.3. Or you could apply for the beta build of Nougat

There's Dirty Unicorns 6.0.1. Stable
I used CyanogenMod from the day I got my Robin then its Lineage OS continuation until a couple weeks ago. Both performance and battery life are way better on Omni.
Stock nougat is available now I think fairly stable I'm running it but seems to be a bit of lag
