I know this could be overkill even to ask, but man can you take up 5.1.1 for update (other than CM) ???

sskr_ i was tested ur build cm-13.0-20170609-UNOFFICIAL-armani.zip but front facing cam was FC/error, aint sure if you have fixed camera issue of ur build.
mean while , iill testing ur update build lineage-13.0-20170710, thanks

Camera bug confirmed (install Open camera or other cam app from playstore ) I have compiled coz latest June 17 security patch was merged in lineage MM sources .

Something like if u r already on exodus u need to flash a build which i am going to share it may or may not boots !
If it boots good it not u need to flash it as clean and then too it may or may not boots .
Just confirm me above two sequence it goes successful we can achieve a best stable ROM. :fingers-crossed:

I think he means you need to be on stock MM firmware before flashing. If you have been using CM 13/14 then you can flash this without errors.

Yes, All the ROMs having 7.1.1 has battery draining issues. If you want better battery backup switch to 6.0
I see OctOS, AICP, AOKP has some little bit good battery...

The battery issue on 7.1 will improve in the future?
The other ROMs that you mentioned above is 7.1??

I'm using this ROM since past one month and continuing the same.. I hope we get new features soon in the updates. I don't have VoLTE SIM so don't know about working/non-working can you confirm the same .. As one of my frd want to flash this ROM and asking for VoLTE support !!!!

Some themes gets overlapping so can't see the result quickly .. I have to un-install previous theme and need to re start the phone to apply.

2. Flash any kernel which has recovery (Use the boot.img in this ROM - It has TWRP)
3. Reboot device and go to recovery by pressing Vol-UP when LED is pink

If you build Kcal in I will definitely try this. On different old devises I loved AOKP so with fingerprint fixed no Kcal is the only downside.

If you want, you can do it.
But you can enable root from developer options without problems.

You need to port the framework too.
Also, the port u talking about was very experimental.
But u can try to port it anyway, if u try u know..

What's funny?

Usaamah released an RR version for edge on 14/10/17 and in that build, the recent key button doesn't work. however, he did provide a workaround to make it work on his telegram group before that group was deleted. he mentioned changing the name of one system file but i can't remember which one. can you help me in this if you can? I'm on the aforementioned build on edge.

I remember with older builds when some animations were laggy especially when using the back key, also the device heats up very quickly without doing any intense tasks, and the Camera randomly crashes. I hope these bugs were fixed on the latest build.

latest usaamah build is 13/10 and no any bugs , i want some changlog and bug list maybe it can help???

There is one bug in 13/10 build....viper4magisk doesn't work.

Is deep sleep fixed ?

I have problems with WhatsApp Audio Recording/Voice Recorder. Sounds like wrong Codec. Soundrecorder from Android Menue is OK.

Does it work on G925f edge

Apparently not, I installed today and here's how the battery status is

Sorry i just got my S6 , but i found out there is many thread about the ressurection remix rom. can i ask if what build or thread should i follow with less bug and good for daily driver. rr is the first thing in my mind when i got this phone, thanks

Hi everyone. I was just on Gold elite but play store and other apps kept crashing. Ive only got nemesis and RR rom left to try. Does this rom support voLTE? Also anyone experience any other issues I'm looking for the most stable one out there need a working phone asap. Any help is appreciated. thanks in advance!

From my previous experience in most RR ROMs they have a few problems according to me, at least
1. Camera isn't as good as stock Samsung...well this can't be helped due to close sourced S6.
2. The night mode display is actually not helpful and it's pretty much of an extra pain..to my eyes are least.
3. Random lags and random changes of screen color temperature.
4. Little slow wake lock
5. Sometimes , in fact pretty rarely call drop/no in call volume .
But remember the lineage OS/Resurrection remix on android nougat has covered a tremendous amount of success on s6....there were days when most things didn't work and everything was super slow...but now a lot of it has been fixed thankfully

Instructions:
Take a backup first from your actual system!
Before instaling, make sure you are running the latest Oreo firmware from the latest HTC Sense.
If you are encrypted but running an AOSP ROM then you're fine. If you come from Sense, take a full backup of all your data, boot into TWRP and format data (the option which requires you to type "yes") and clean flash accordingly. This is due to encryption changes. Do not skip this step or you will be locked out of your system by a password prompt.
If you are coming from any other ROM wiping /system & /data is strongly recommended
Download the latest build ( links are below).
Reboot to TWRP.
Flash the latest build.
Reboot and enjoy (as much as currently possible)

Reporting bugs:
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred (please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing).
If it is a random reboot, grab /proc/last_kmsg (do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot, a logcat after a reboot is useless).
Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved.

@fagyi after using the latest build .. iv noticed a little bit of stutter in general UI and games compared to previous version. did anything change in code to cause this effect ?

1 no search option in settings...
2 digital wellbeing dosen't work
3 no Option for Any customization
4 when you use recent apps ... I mean swipe up or recent button... You should try twice to show the apps...

adding this line at the end of buil.prop ' qemu.hw.mainkeys=0 ' in system>system directory solves the navigation issues

Hey all I just clean flashed again the rom with opengapps aroma... And enabled again navbar with root...disabled hw keys...
Solutions 1, 2, 4 solved... Just 3 remains that I know dear @fagyi will add on next updates???

Hello. Is it possible to include a better audio drivers to this ROM like Viper or something? Waiting for the Rom have less bugs and I will test it on my daily phone
