I noticed that as well. I doesn't seem to show on OmniROM. Perhaps we can pose this question to the the Dev Gandalf.

battery not calibrated

Hi all
I've installed MildWild Rom lately. The Rom is working great, exept one problem: battery is greately un-calibrated.
I'm not here to cry about the fact that is runs out too fast, but it really is un-calibrated. When I charge the device, it says fully charged (Led turnes green) at 90% battery. I'm checking it with "battery status app" so I can see the voltage on the battery.
I tried all the ordinary things like using apps like "battery calibration" and also Wipe Battery stats in recovery mode. Still no go...
any thoughts?
This issue has absolutely nothing to do with battery calibration. The fact that the LED turns green when the battery level reachs 90% is a problem which all AOSP-roms have in common. Just wait until it's charged to 100%.
sorry.. but what exactly is "AOSP" means?

AOSP roms refer to roms compiled from source, like cyanogen for instance
to find out what any acronym stands for i often use this

Android Open Source Projekt. These ROMs are based on original Google Sources, without any Manufacturer-coating (like HTC with their Sense or Samsung with their Touchwiz).
understood, just the source code without the certain company UI.
but based on ROMS- like the one I have- MildWild that it's UI based on Xperia S Interface- are also include in those AOSP?
because if so, my previous one was also only based on sense, and didn't had this 90% battery problem.

MIUI and MildWild are based on AOSP, more precisely on CM7 (MIUI/MildWild) respectively Oxygen (Mildwild).

[Q] Which Rom and Kernel for my G Nexus?

Hey Guys!
I have a Galaxy Nexus running Stock Jelly Bean JRO03C. Not Rooted, not Unlocked.
So now I want to install a custom Rom and Kernel to get more out of my phone. I came from moto Defy and saw the possibilities of Custom Roms.
My Questions are now, which of the many Custom Roms?!
I want a stable one, where everything is working and I want the battery life like in Stock JB+Stock Kernel or even better, if possible.
My Phone has to be smooth like stock JB.
Is it even necessary to flash a custom Kernel? (I don't really know, what it does )
So can you guys recommend me any good, smooth and stable custom roms? (Only thing I really would appreciate are power toggles in Notification bar like in Cyanogenmod)
could you please post a link to rom and kernel?
Kind regards!
CM10 + Franco/Trinity
The tons of locked ROM/kernel posts didn't give you a clue not to post this?
Every phone reacts differently to ROMs/kernels. Every person uses their phone slightly differently, which gives different results depending on ROM/kernel. The only proper answer is "try them yourself and see which works best".
Also, think of the pandas!

Could you pls post a link to rom and kernel? And can you tell me the advantages of your suggested rom?

awh yeah, i'm sorry for asking. Thought I'd get help here.
You really want stable rom? Stock. No doubt about it. You only flash custom ROM if your want more customization. Battery life can't be better than stock unless you underclock or undervolt.
Also there is no best ROM and kernel. It's what you like the best and the one that suits you the most. Please keep that in your mind.
If you only want custom ROM for notification toggles, seriously check out apps like power toggles. Works and works well
It isn't necessarily to flash custom kernel, but it'll give you ability to overclock and stuff. That's what it's all about
Sent from my ASUS Transformer Pad TF300T using xda app-developers app
There are only three things I miss in Stock, coming from Cyanogenmod 10-Defy. The T9-Dialer, the toggles in Notification bar und the Battery Symbol in percent.
The apps for the toggles and battery percent annoy me, because they use the top left space of notification bar and don't fit to the design of JB in my opinion

If you're coming from cm. Just use cm. It'll probably be best for you.
Swyped on my Galaxy Nexus running AOKP with Franco Kernel, overclocked to 1.4GHz
OP, please read up and try them. Opinions will vary, as well as how they perform on your particular device. Thank you for understanding.

No, but I got around 1 day full battery life with my normal use. Some gaming, music, FB, WhatsApp etc. With other roms battery draining was fast, in standby also.

Waiting for reviews.
Any screenshot for redmi 1s?
+ my first impression is, this rom might be good
Here they are
I use Phantom kernel, stock kernel comes with standard LOS setting
But I cannot found :
-Navigation Bar screen button
-No screenshot in tiles
-Network upstream/downstream in statusbar
-Other still inspect
All functions working and stable
Pretty fast..head to head with AOSP Ex and ColtOS Mint. Still, faster than RR.

I'm on carbon currently and on little heavy usage battery drains fast, so this rom might be the one I'm looking for.
I hope to join the support of Chinese in the next update.
Fabulous ROM, no problems so far. Very snappy and performance is great (I am not using Gapps)

Which is your favorite Nougat Custom Rom?

Hello guys, this is a thread dedicated to your choice of Nougat based Custom Roms.
[QUESTIONS]
Which Nougat Rom was the most bugless one for you?
Why did you choose it?
Which would you recommend for others?
[! Please do not recommend anything not based on AOSP Nougat or Los. Also, I know there are Oreo based roms as well, but the video recording bug is mostly only fixable on nougat; so that is also why I decided to start a thread only dedicated to Nougat-based Custom Roms.
Footej is also not a solution for me on Oreo. It is inconvenient to always switch to another app just to take videos, e.g. WhatsApp video creating in-app function saves time, but not on Oreo. Where the bug isn't fixable. At least not for long.
I have experienced that on nougat the build.prop fix stays.
I will not answer anything that goes against the above mentioned. !]
Viper most is definitely the best Nougat ROM. I have tried them all and always come back to Viper. I'm on it at the moment. It has April 2018 security patch too. How may Nougat ROMs have that.
Viper is the best rom i have used till date. But
@Sutcliffe9 can you please tell me the amount of time taken by your device to charge completely and what is the voltage input in your device.
I have the same rom and my device shows 5V constantly
Easily legend rom hands down most stable powerful battery outstanding nought rom
Viper os is the best nougat rom.........

Hey there, i'm also on ViperOs.
I only need 1 Hour and 15-30Minutes for Charging. Do you have the stock charger which supports 12V -2Amps? etc?
You might wanna try other chargers.
