Which help? How are we supposed to help someone without knowing what problem is there?
Please realise that this is a DEVELOPMENT forum. And we as users can ask for help but after searching, reading and learning. I bet your problem has been already described and solved a few times.
The developers do more than enough making roms and sharing with us, so we should try to not annoy them with countless questions all the time.
PD: Sorry for the double post; I thought tapatalk would join them.

Read Xperia Z3 thread. Everything there applies to Z3 dual. From your post it is not even clear what you did. Did you have an error on install in TWRP or on boot? If the rom installed fine, did your do fresh install, meaning you wiped system/data/cache/dalvik? Which TWRP did you use?
Again, read and follow instructions in Z3 thread...
twrp 3.0.2 wiped system/data/cache/dalvik I do its. Dowload but system is error.GOOGLE GAPPS is dowload but system UL is problems.

You need to flash Gapps right after the rom and before booting, otherwise you will have errors...
I am dowload rom+open GAPS .it is opening but it is error system.
But z3LEO is dowload same is not problem.Simconnector can't comeing.
I think it's time for some better feedback, i installed the rom with no errors, booted nicely, but unfortunately the system ui keeps crashing.
I did a full wipe, system, data, dalvick, and cache, a clean install twice, got the system ui fc on both, no gapps installed, no extras installed.
Why is it crashing? I guess it's simply something about the build.prob file, anyway i can't tell because i couldn't get a logcat. I also tried it with airplane mode ON using power menu, rebooted and it didn't help.
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B8E-wUe_vMJHalRpWmVJMlZCZXc/view?usp=drivesdk
Also, afterwards while restoring my backup, it showed me this:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B8E-wUe_vMJHMjNPNkJjV0RHbWM/view?usp=drivesdk
Maaaybe it's like a recovery error thing related to modems not being installed? Anyway i installed stock rom with my old twrp and restored my backup. Ready for testing when needed.
Hit thanks if that was helpful.
@veiron144lww if VoLTE option was available in network option?

The errors while restoring happens to me usually, and they don't mean anything I think. Have you checked md5 of the rom? If so, there may be a problem with this build. I'm sure the Dev will check it out

Volte will not work on custom roms because Sony modem files for AOSP are published in a different format than on stock and there is no way to switch to volte modem like in stock.

No, 14.1 kernel won't work with this rom. The only way to find out the problem is if someone runs adb logcat during boot. Kernel source is available in download section...

Camera working?
I can't install it... But TWRP writes "sucess"...
Some screenshots for now I do not have the mobile.
It looks promising to install by (TWRP) based (AOSP) but meli sound, a question need to update the bootloader as in Linage OS?
By the way, thank you very much for your contributions. PDesire
Camera working?
@ jimmy123322
Camera works, but poor quality photos are. Dark. As in every AOSP except LOS .
" Music has stopped. Open app again."
There are two applications messaging , just one.
You could add a file manager.
And the sound is too loud ("Until speaker wheezes"), that is my opinion.

Thanks for the notice after breaking my head for a while I did the following.
My Xperia Z3 variant is D6653
1-Install Stock 6.0.1 with FLASHTOOLS.
2-Install Kernel Elite Kernel Using ADB.
3-Have a Custom Rom in the SD and proceed to install.
4-Enjoy stock Rom (Of course installing an FTF Stock after the custom ROM is optional).
The Rom AOSP is very good if it were not for the camera, that does not bring Gapps (it does not include (Play store) when trying to install root enters bootloop.
And the main problem back stock.
What about patch D6633?

Hi mate, I hope you are trying to install verified zip files that are not damaged or broken during the download.
THIS ROM DOES NOT HAVE GAPPS DOWNLOADED
Follow these steps (postscript is for UB). But I imagine you already know. To the mess then.
1 Having TWRP the version in my case use the one that had the ROM that had at that time 3.0.2-0. You can also use the one with Elite kernel. (POSDATA I DO NOT UPDATE THE BOOTLOADER) NO MISSING TO INSTALL.
2 Copy ROM to internal, SD or usb OTG. Restart and log in to TWRP.
3 WIPE Option - Advanced Wipe Select Dalvik / Cache / Data. Respect the rest.
4 Install the ROM file and then the gapps you can use Opengapps Aroma or Pico O Nano.
5 Enjoy the rom.
Notes attached I would tell you not to try to install super user Break the boot to me me step you can try it search some method I could not dedicate more time to work, it is very fluid the battery goes well the camera do not wait and improve that excellent sound use headphones with Support HiReS Audio I do not know if that helps but for me it sounds very good battery life a little less than stock maybe the brightness seemed a bit higher.
I would like to indicate how to get TWRP without going through the famous update bootloadear and if you can not stay in stock as well as how to install super user without breaking the ROM.

Hello, I am currently with a ROM based on stock but it is MM 6.0.1 of the mobiles that I have this one has a decent camera and I have appreciation because it is a gift from my wife and if something happens I will relay it with another one of my devices and then I would repair it, it's just that I need the camera to work well to document my work, so use the rom few days as I had a few days off and install the AOSP ALPHA do not take screenshots as I had other mobile the Z3 step To the background, then spend a couple of hours to check it out to see that the signal is well wifi, bluetooh, audio, camera, speed, battery.
Wait and get ROM update you have to be patient.
I had planned to retire my Xperia Z3 and use my Xperia XZ but I decided to postpone it for another year but the XZ is still with the bootloader blocked.
Hi, what changes does the R2 bring?
By flashing a custom rom, your warranty is void 0ooh wait its void the moment you unlock bootloader.
FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS!!! to avoid bricked devices. ask where need be!.
Not the best tab (i mean performance wise is almost pathetic), but hey!! i mean i searched for custom roms but couldnt find-the stock lagged with install of just two to three apps. Didnt like the look too. I have managed to port 2 roms for our beloved TAB.
LINKS BEFORE CREDITS!
PORTED

LINEAGE

***these were the only bugs present after port
I Manage to fix a few in both ROMS;
FLYME

2=FIXED NO SOUND-working perfectly
****BUG REMAINING =CAMERA CANT CONNECT
LINEAGE
1=FIXED WHITE NOISE- sound working perfectly
****BUG REMAINING =CAMERA CANT CONNECT
=NO IN CALL SOUND, UNLESS LOUD SPEAKER- *calls unless loudspeaker
These ROMS have been ported from 6753 chipset..if that will come in handy to fix camera
i was hoping i could make this thread after i have fixed all bugs, but nahh!! i think i have tried enough and i will need help to fix remaining BUGS
******I can NO LONGER OFFER fixs..as I gave away the TAB..

You need to flash the 35b bootstack zip file before you flash a custom ROM(24b may work as well, but 35b is the newest) on the vs985; you don't have to flash it every time, once should be good enough... https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24052804347843993
So... flash bootstack, then rom, then gapps, etc

Hmm...do you have substratum installed? If yes, here's instructions to remove them(from substratum g+ site):
REMOVE OVERLAYS IN TWRP
? Flash the rescue zips located inside the Substratum folder on internal storage.
OR
? Substratum OMS - reboot into TWRP and remove the xml from /data/system/overlay.xml
? Legacy - Mount system in TWRP and remove the overlays from system/vendor/overlays

Ok. Also, I've never used fulmics before so you may wanna go over to that thread and ask about your overlay issue. It may be a setting in the ROM I don't know about.
HUGE thanks to @giri45 for actually providing the fix!
What's this?
A Unity installer ensures that you can use this module with any kind of root solution (as long as it supports init.d)! If you have Magisk, flash the module through the Magisk Manager, but if you don't have Magisk, just flash the module through TWRP. When you want to uninstall the module, flash it again in Magisk Manager or TWRP.
As for the module itself, it provides a fix for LiveDisplay/Night Light on the Moto G5/G5S for anyone running an AOSP-based ROM running Android 9 or higher, and enables Camera2 API + EIS if you wish so.
Do NOT attempt to install this on other devices, or ROMs based on Android <9! Device and Android version checks have been applied to make sure this module will not install on incompatible devices. This module assumes that you are using the latest stock Oreo firmware (including bootloader, GPT and etc.)! Do not report issues if you are not on the latest firmware.
Tested ROMs:
Havoc OS 2.2
Pixel Experience 9.0
AOSPExtended 6.3
crDroid 5.0
Known issues:
Fix doesn't work on Nougat firmware. You must have fully flashed the stock ROM/flashed it via OTA, for this fix to work.
Downloads:
Download from Magisk Repo.
Flash via Magisk Manager or TWRP. Make sure you have a root solution which supports init.d!
Thanx for trying to fix this. Unfortunately it's not working on my xt1794 running AospExtented. First try flashing through twrp failed, the updaterscript didn't recognize my phone (correctly), then installing as magisk module, but no night light..

That's really weird. Installs fine and works on PE, installs fine but doesn't work on ViperOS, and now doesn't work on AOSPExtended.
Could you try providing installation logs located in the Internal storage?
Have you also tried manually replacing the files? If that works, then it's not a problem with the ROM...

PE 9.0LOG is attached
@JarlPenguin You mentioned fix is working on AOSPExtended 6.3, is that for the g5, or is there a montana build? If so, please provide a link if possible, thanx

It's an internal build. You can test it out here: https://t.me/montanadevelopment

Are you on the Oreo firmware? GPT and bootloader included. Did you do a screen repair before?

Nougat firmware and Oreo baseband, screen is original. Do you think that partition table is the problem?

Okay, I think I have found the problem now. What have you not upgraded?

As I said, I upgraded the baseband, the rest is firmware from nougat. On another device I'm running lollipop firmware and no problems regarding night light on pie ROMs..
Edit: I see you updated op, will report back once I fully upgraded firmware (for now I want to be able to revert back to nougat). Thanx for your efforts

Thanks. I updated the OP a while ago, but I do want to figure out the root cause of the problem, whether it is the vendor image, bootloader, GPT, or something else.

I'm planning on upgrading everything except bootloader and gpt.bin, then I'll try your fix again and report back:good:
Edit: OK, done. I did flash bootloader, did not erase userdata and did not flash stock recovery. Good news is: system feels alot snappier - not so good news is that fix is still not working for me..
For anyone with similar issue: use cf.lumen instead and don't forget to thank the dev

That's weird... One thing I know that is that this fix doesn't work on Nougat firmware.
Working flawlessly on crDroid 9.
Thank you devs!
I have installed the mod with magisk and not working on my device with Pixel Experience 9.0

Hehe, same like me , if you didn't updated officially than this fix won't work on any PIE ROM

Did you flash everything? Try fully flashing Stock Oreo via Fastboot and then install TWRP, custom ROM and this fix.
