Zenfone 2 (ZE551ML) GPS not detecting any satellite - ZenFone 2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Running on CleanStock ROM, ZenKernel.
It was working previously when running CM14.1, but when I flash CleanStock it isn't working anymore.
This issue occured once when I'm using Stock ASUS MM ROM, but CM14.1 temporarily fixed it.
Now I'm stucked with no GPS again, so I'm certain it isn't hardware issue.
Tried every single "fix" recommended by Google, but no luck.
Anyone here could help?
I don't really rely on GPS as I can navigate myself, but I use it occasionally when travels to new places.

[Q] WiFi seems broken (phone crashes)

I have massive problems using WiFi.
If I activate it, the phone spontanously "crashes", means it reacts extremely slow and is totally unusable till restarted.
It's always when WiFi is on, just the time till it starts differs. I've tried some different ROMs (MIUI with LordMods kernel or stock kernel with vanilla ROM-settings and no apps, CM7.1 stable with stock kernel) and also different WiFis and settings and can say it's independent from an established connection, so it also occurs when there is nothing in sight to connect to.
I can't remember since when I got this problem as I only recently activated WiFi again for usage. Before I never had such problems. I accidentally flashed a zip file as a radio some time ago o) and then flashed the right radio again after I got the battery out for some time. Possible the phone got damaged somehow or is there a possibility that it's a software related issue like a module that doesn't work well with more recent radios in combination with my phone?
I tried radios 12.59.60.26_26.11.04.21_M and 12.62.60.27_26.13.04.19_M, same problem.
Thanks
See if the official software works, try to install a 1.32 RUU.

ZE551ML GPS Problem

does anyone know where radio firmware flash image stored?
is it in ifwi? or somewhere else.
here's what happened:
couple weeks ago, my GPS stops working, it keeps searching for satellite signal, and found none.
recently I realised that GPS isn't working at all, i know by downloading software gps status on playstore.
it was on XOSP, and now am back to stock and facing the same problem. the GPS can't see the satellites.
i found about service ROM and flashed it, and suddenly the GPS starts to work, and getting satellite's receptions.
then i switched back to normal rom using raw files, everything seems to be perfect. update it to current one, and the problem came back. it starting not to see the satellites.
is it my phone has sw/hw problem?
if it sw, where's the problem source?
thanks in advance.

Your opinion: is this a hardware or software issue?

I've been having ongoing problems with my GPS for awhile now. At first I thought it was due to a problem with the Lineage OS ROM. Now, having gone back to various stock ROMs, I've found that it's occurring with them as well.
The problem is this: the GPS works great the first 24 hours or so after a boot. After that, the GPS seems to die, showing no satellites in GPS Test or similar apps. HOWEVER, after a reboot, it works great again. Given that it works great after a fresh boot, I'm inclined to think this is a software problem, not hardware - and I'd like to hear from you as to whether you agree with this thinking.
If it is a software issue, the question is what else I can try other than what I've already done (flashing stock and other ROMs). Maybe there's some software that isn't being wiped/overwritten when flashing these stock ROMs with Odin? I tried using KIES, but it doesn't allow me to initialize the device (I'm assuming because Knox shows I've already installed a custom ROM onto it at some point).
Any wisdom appreciated - even if it's just a suggestion of where else to ask about this!

GPS doesn't work after flashing custom ROM

Hello everyone, about a month ago I tried flashing a custom ROM (specifically, Pixel Experience by Fedray) on my Moto G5.
After unlocking bootloader and installing TWRP recovery, I managed to succesfully install the new Oreo ROM.
Except for known bugs, everything seemed to be working properly.
The only thing that worked poorly was GPS, that took too long to fix when I was driving and didn't fix at all when walking.
I was thinking it was a ROM-related issue, but today I tried three different ROMs (another Oreo, Lineage OS 14.1, Stock unbloated), but GPS is not working anymore.
I'm using GPS Status & Toolbox app.
Does anybody experience the same issue or have any solution?
Thanks
Did you find a solution?

Bluetooth pairing issue

Hi all. I have trouble with BT pairing. I had to pair every bluetooth device again after reboot. Its weird, I dont know how it happened. Has anyone same issue? Iam on last stock with butterfly (I also tried other kernels).
Edit: It was very annoying. I had to install LOS and everythings working. Weird...

had the same and also other few issues with bluetooth and wifi. Went down to Oreo using the tutorial from this board. Now everything works as it should.
I do not know if customs Pie roms have it fixed, I just downgraded to stock Oreo as this is most stable and problems-free thing for this device.
