Im using @flashallthetime Stock Nougat Rom. I was using VOLTE earlier before i ran into an area where the Network wasnt available for Jio Network Provider. When i got back to the place where network is available, I found my APN to be missing, so i googled it and create an apn with 'jionet' and that enabled 4G over the network. However I cant seem to find the option to enable VOLTE. I tried using the Testing module *#*#4636#*#* and turning on VOLTE provision flag. But that flag turns off the moment i get back to another screen. I set it on and then restarted the device to find Enhanced VOLTE option in settings, but it wasnt there so i checked the VOLTE provision flag again, and it was turned off. Why would it turn off? How do i enable it? I assume it was working earlier in the @flashallthetime s stock rom, so the rom wouldnt be an issue. What is then?
To Enable VoLTE follow these steps:
Go to settings->more->Cellular Network->Enable enhanced 4G Lte mode

I have unlocked s6 and APN won't stick. When put into network mode automatic I get to input APN and it works until I let phone turn off screen or I manually hit power button. When I get back into phone the APN setting I input, for t-mobile, are gone. There are Sprint APN listed but I can't choose nor add or delete any. If I choose LTE GSM auto prl through one of the service menu's I am able to again choose APN and input what I want but at sleep and rewake the phone goes back to not listing the APN and having greyed out sprint APN. Phone works but have data issues here and there and sometimes have to reboot to get lte to stick. Lock screen sometimes shows T-mobile as carrier but usually shows Sprint. I can still make calls and use LTE data on my t-mobile sim when it says Sprint as carrier but I think my data and mms issues would be fixed if I could get the dang APN to stick. Any ideas? Different rom? I'm on 5.1.1 OJ7

This is a really old thread, but since I've been struggling with this issue for several months, I think this is the place for a reply.
There are several problems with a "sprint" unlocked S6, but the most annoying (other than hands free activation) is the APN settings going back to default and being "locked" until you reboot the phone. When in this "locked" state - you will not be able to receive MMS messages.
I have found that deleting (or simply renaming) the customer.xml (/system/csc/customer.xml) stops the resetting of the APN - and interestingly opens up the additional configurations under Mobile Networks -> Network Mode to choose GSM/WCDMA/LTE.
After fixing this and fixing hands free activation (https://forum.xda-developers.com/sprint-galaxy-s6/help/hands-free-activation-t3199214) the phone now performs VERY well on T-Mobile, just like it belongs there
I just checked my device on 7.0 Nougat and I can't find that file (there is no folder in root>system called "csc"). Any idea how I can fix this?

You may not be allowed to view certain system files for some reason. I believe you have to be rooted to delete them. You could also try the system update first if you are stock. But probably best bet either way would be to start with clean install of whatever ROM you use or the stock ROM from TWRP. I've been able to delete the files from skyhigh and Rick Wardenberg's ROM. as the title says i flashed stock rom through qfil and updated to S105 through ota. Now the updating went smooth and there is enhance 4g option availble but still no volte. I tried turning it off and on but still nothing happens. i even directly flashed the S105 firmware through qfil but same result. pls someone help me.
I have enhance option after update. But I have not tried the option. It is still on. In my location there is no LTE network with volte support. So I can't tell if our phone really support volte. As it is my father's phone, I can't take the phone to nearby places where a LTE network is available.

1-did you check *#*#4636#*#* whethere the volte flag is on,
2-also check in sim & network settings , under settings, whether the use volte when available is toggled on.
3-might also be temporary network issue in your area
4-reboot

Hi,
All check. Nothing worked.
Within *#*#4636#*#* VoLTE toggle turns off after few seconds every time I enable it.
No VoLTE enabled toggle in sim and network settings.
I can only browser 4G internet but can't make or get any call or sms also.
Also wiped cache. Did factory reset too. Did N number of tricks available over internet. Even did factory reset but still it is not working.
This problem suddenly arised after upgrading to Oxygen 4.0.3

I'm using Reliance Jio since last few months but it was working fine. Problem occurred only after upgrade to 4.0.3
I got the toggle in 4.0.3. It's under "Sim and network settings" check if you have this

I am running 4.0.3 with Jio sim and I have VoLTE. From your screenshots, it is obvious that it is missing for you.
Did you update via OTA? If so, clean flash the full ROM and check. OTA updates especially for the OP3 are buggy, I don't know why. Mine is a clean flash of full ROM.

Hi all,
I have found the solution. It's nothing to do with android or oneplus 3 or oxygen update. I did everything but the stupid sim is faulty. Took my friend's sim card of same service and it just worked fine. Will change my sim card with new one. Will see how it works. Thanks to everyone for their support.
VoLTE icon found
My husband too lost the icon on his OnePlus 3T phone after the update n my solution to his new problem turned out to be quite easy. If you too are trying to get the VoLTE icon back, then try this also:
Settings > Status Bar (under customization section) > enable VoLTE option.

I have a same problem after updating to Oxygen 4.5.1 and few days ago changed my sim, did factory reset, did clear wipe data and cache but Still same problem. any other solution plzz..?

After Pie update, VoLTE on/off option under settings disappeared on mi a2 lite phone.
VoLTE cant be turned off any more...

Unfourtunately, it doesn' work...
Before Pie, I used this code above to activate VoLTE, then VoLTE on/off option appeared also under settings on Oreo
But, as i mentioned , after Pie, VoLTE on-off option disappeared...
After re-entering *#"#86583#*#*
" VoLTE Carrier check was disabled/enabled" appear again.. But nothing changes..
After i entered the code for voLTE the toggle option appears under network settings as enhanced 4G LTE Mode. Im not certain if this toggle has always been there but i noticed it after i entered the code.

On Oreo, "Enhaced 4G LTE mode" appeared after entering code..
But, After Pie Update., this option (enabling turn on/off VoLTE) disappeared..
And re entering the code changes nothing.

sounds like you will need a reset, i noticed that the volte came up without using the carrier check disable, this was hard after flashing latest pie, but i still enabled the toggles anyway cause they should of been there if volte HD was showing.
The Nougat to Oreo OTA update would never install so I did a full wipe and manually installed OCXS27.1 via flashall. since then, I lose all signal/data every 2 minutes or so. If I go into Phone info (*#*#4636#*#*), I notice the Mobile Radio Power toggle will switch off/on intermittently.
when I try resetting all network settings, the connection becomes consistent but the phone doesnt recognize I have mobile data (shows full bars and 4G LTE icon).
I have tried several different basebands and their corresponding OTAs but the issue persists, an issue that was not present on Nougat.

When at Phone info, you can change Preferred Network Type to Global (PRL) or LTE/UMTS auto (PRL) if you are outside of US. My ATT (of course carrier unlocked) is now running on LTE/UMTS auto (PRL) and everything is fine.
