Where can i find any Firmware for this Tablet.
Tablet stuck on bootloop.
Any version would be great
Thank you
No V930 firmware has been distributed, to my knowledge. But another user reported successfully using the V935 firmware -- that's the European version:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/g-pad-10/help/g-pad-ii-lte-v935-kdz-compatible-t3359878

I wonder what broke if anything and what the benefits would be other than getting rid of the AT&T bloatware.. I'd love to get rid of the bloatware and mine is carrier unlocked so maybe I should just go for this and see what happens. I don't even use it with a sim card, I just use it on wifi... decisions, decisions...

Having used the V935 stock image to recover a fouled V930, the main things I notice that are broken using a V935 stock image are that the rear-facing camera doesn't work (since it's different between the two models), the size of the system files is misreported such that it significantly reduces your available storage (since the V935 has 16GB and the V930 has 32GB, I'm guessing), and the gyroscope seems to not work.
Have seen some kludgy fixes for the system file size issue, and one can always throw in a micro SD card for more storage. If you just need it for browsing the web, reading books, video chat, etc. the front camera works fine, and there are a few apps out there that will allow you to manually rotate the screen. For me, though, the lack of a rear camera and gyroscope really limit my use of this, since I use a few AR apps, and this renders the tablet useless for them. So -- unless there are patches for these issues somewhere that I'm missing -- if a V930 stock .kdz DOES show up, bloatware or no bloatware, I will be all over that.

The first time I flashed it, it did that. It turned out to be a bad USB cable. Flashed it again with a different cable, and it worked.
If you're following the instructions for using Flash Tool 2014 step-by-step by-the-numbers, have tried a different cable to re-flash it, and it's still doing that, then I don't know what to tell you. Maybe re-download the KDZ in case the first download attempt was corrupted somehow?
Sorry to not be much help!

Dear LG Friends,
Long time XDA member, coming from the Windows Phone days HTC, then to Android HTC, bunch of Samsungs, and am now thinking about the LG space. More specifically moving from the Note 3 (T-Mobile US) running on the AT&T US, to the LG G3.
Before I do, I need some help from you guys. Which variant should I go for? I know my primary choices will be the T-Mobile and the AT&T variants (I believe they are 851 and 850)? Based on what's important to me, below, can you guys advise which variant to get?:
1. Development Support - Which variant has the MOST amount of Custom ROM options, that is on-going and kept current? I am spoiled with the Note 3, which has a massive development support. I have never tried the LG OS/Skin (escaping me what it's called), but if it's anything like the TouchWiz on Samsungs, I think it will be important to have CM/AOSP/AOKP and etc support.
2. This is related to # 1 - But I heard that only T-Mobile has the unlocked Bootloader? However, doing some research, I believe the AT&T and the Verizon and Sprint variants can also be unlocked? Is this true? If so, are they anymore limited than the factory unlocked T-Mobile variant?
3. LTE bands - I will most likely be using the phone on AT&T US, but if development options/support are higher on other variants, I might consider buying those models, even if they are missing some AT&T bands. For the Note 3 - T-Mobile is a Pentaband phone, meaning it had all the bands needed, so it could easily work on AT&T LTE, all the time. The reverse was not true.
And basically that is it. Initial instinct says to go chase the T-Mobile variant, based on my needs above. But please educate me and help me out if I have missed something. Thank you so much in advance!
Any input guys?

If you want OTA updates i suggest sticking with the AT&T variant since you have a valid AT&T sim. If you use a AT&T sim in a T-Mobile variant you wont ever get OTA updates and that means missing out on necessary fixes
1. All 3 US Variants are mostly the same, all have CM12 and all the random obscure AOSP roms as well
2. Well unlocked bootloader isnt that fancy it just means theres fastboot mode compared with the other editions where fastboot mode doesnt work properly even if you enable it. It essentially just makes installing TWRP easier since you dont have to root before installing it unlike other variants
Nevertheless Lollipop can be rooted on all US Variants right now really easily. But the only downside to it is that removing custom roms sometimes can be a pain since you have to use a way where it sometimes works and sometimes doesnt

Hi Friend,
Thanks for your response, this is very helpful!
No OTA is never a thing I consider. Everything that matters to me, is what I listed already.
So, is the development support (new ROMs, updates and etc) the same for all US variants or would you say one variant is particularly more popular?
As for the locked bootloader, I thought you needed an Unlocked bootloader to flash Custom ROMs, no? It seems like "Bump" fixes this for Verizon, Sprint, and AT&T and gets you TWRP on your phone, but do we need to do extra steps everything to the boot.img for non T-Mobile variants? Or is it a one time mod and then regular flashing and Backups with TWRP?
If it's the same for all variants after Bump, then you're right, I will likely stay with an AT&T variant, thanks to that Band 7 LTE.
Thank you again for your help, hopefully more can chime in !

No need for any steps. Its just install TWRP and your on your way to installing whatever rom you want
Unlocked bootloader means that the system doesnt security (consistency) checks on system partitions
For LG G3, its because someone cracked the encryption for the kitkat android bootloader which means people can sign non stock boot.img without having to worry about unlocking the bootloader.

Gotcha, thanks again mate! Another (hopefully last) question. If I buy G3, where someone had already OTA'd to 5.0+, will I still be able to root it, install TWRP and get KK ROMs, like CM11 or something?
And vice versa, if the phone comes with KK, do I need to patch with Bump and then I can install ROMs?
Thank you again!

You can root it but i dont know if installing TWRP will work. I didnt want to try it incase it doesnt work and it runs the factory reset script instead. That happened to me once before
But i would say just to be sure, downgrade back to KitKat to do it
Yeah, if the phone comes with KitKat just root, install TWRP using root permissions and then your on your way

This is helpful, once again bud. So how would I downgrade back to KK? Would I have to run a stock firmware of some sort? In Samsung, he Flash a .Tar file through their flashing tool called the Odin. Would that be similarly done here?
Hi, All. Ive followed XDA for a long time and love it. I love my verizon G-Pad but ever since the Lollipop update it has just been so slow and almost unsuable. Well ive got good news. Today i found a way to downgrade back to LG Official Kitkat 4.4.2.
Tool Used: LG Flash Tool 2014 - you can download from this thread
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2785089
I could only get this to work from LG's Download Mode (with tablet turned off, hold the Vol Up Key and plug in USB cord)
If you are running version 23A Lollipop you must downgrade to 22A first. Attempting to downgrade straight to 11A (Kitkat) will fail at 57% restore.
After downgrading to 22A, allow the device to fully boot then shutdown and return to download mode
Now push 11A firmware, everything should now go smoothly (at least it did for me)

Hey man gotta question, my pad was on lollipop and only rooted with no real tweaks and I rebooted one day and it sticks at the Verizon logo. I can get to stock recovery where any selection goes to fastboot where any selection goes to a blank screen where I have to kill it. The couple others I've seen with this problem had success with the support tool / update recovery deal but mine says everything is up to date. I tried flashtool with a kdz and I get all the way to it supposed to send it but the tab download stays at 0% and nothing happens....I would rather have kk anyway would it be worth trying this , **** can't hurt the damn thing no worse lol tired of it sitting in my dresser where its been for months ...I really wonder wtf happened to it
EDIT...... OK I feel like a real dumbass lmao... Apparently the pc I was using had an Antivirus on it and apparently the flash tool doesn't play well with an Antivirus
OK has anyone found a twrp that will flash correctly on the vk700? The twrp floating around for gpad 10.1 only works on the v700 cuz its been bumped To work on the locked bootloader....

Well this downgrade is for vk700 not v700 which is a big difference, I found that out by trying to get twrp to work on my vk700 when it's only for v700 which if you have the v700 your better off

Hi.
I purchased a second hand LG G3 quite a few months back, only to find out after trying to update that my version was the D858HK, which does not seem to have any official way to update past KitKat on the phone. After some digging around, I did find some methods, like flashing the KDz file. However, none of the KDz files I've found on the internet seem to match the model of my phone, which is D858HK10d, or v10d.
I was wondering if there is any other way to get rid of KitKat and move on to the newer versions.
It is rooted.
Thanks in advance, XDA Forums. You guy's do the Android God's work.

LG PC Suite doesn't recognize the phone. And the kdz files there dont include the model of my phone, which is a D858HK10d.
Where are you getting the model #? The 10d part may refer to the ROM as 20x would be LP, and 30x would be MM.

10d is the Software Version of Android KitKat..
Your device is D858HK.
So you can proceed installing that kdz file.
I got my lg g3 fixed running v30b and i rooted it got all the lg g5 apps but i dont have custom recovery so i cant flash a rom and everytime i replace the framework and system ui from the lg g5 it gets bricked and i have to flash a new kdz so can someone help me? Please
what the.... why are u trying to port framework without a custom recovery? it's not hard to install there is a program called g3 autorec that you can find online (not on playstore) that will install an old version of twrp for you and backup your current recovery, just make sure u get the right one, there are diff versions for diff g3 models.
Motherboard doesn't support android kitkat/lollipop partitions
Now thats my problem my motherboard doesnt support android kitkat or lollipop so if my use autorec my motherboard is fried thats what happened last time when i tried to downgrade to kitkat i want to get a working port of framework and systemui and maybe lge-res so i can get a taste of the white theme from lg g5 that works for all variants after that i'll use root explorer
Cool?
My software version is
D85230B
V30B for short
Android 6.0 marshmallow
Can somebody please help me?

First downgrade to kitkat (with a d852 tot or kdz), then root, then use autorec. After that you can flash what you want.

Pretty sure you just did something wrong. You say your device is a D852 (from your software version), the fact that a D852 kdz or tot is not compatible with your D852 because it was manufactured in 2016 is very unlikely. You also said that your motherboard was "fried" when you tried to downgrade (which is again, VERY unlikely), if your motherboard was fried you phone would be dead right now.
"now i want you to ...(blablabla)", don't ever say that if you want to get some help.

I said it was unlikely that the kdz or tot wont work because your phone was manifactured in 2016, not that your phone was manifactured in 2016.
That being said, I guess you don't understand really well english and that's causing some misapprehension.

Hello,
Today I bought a G3. Was working but the SIM card was not working, the Bluetooth was not working and the wifi was not working.
The information on the about phone section were... LG G3... 32Gb storage Android 6 security patch 2016 I can't remember what month.
I did a few factory resets as I red that I might help.
Did not.
Phone not rooted. No custom recovery.
So I made a great mistake.
Decided to flash a factory image using the TOT method. Downloaded the D855 Europe version or international...
Did not work. Got a message something about wrong model version.
So I tried the kdz method.
Now it's bootlooping.
Now back to the question: how can I find the real version of my phone?
I searched the imei... I got D855 but no version. I mean it said it had 2Gb of RAM and 32Gb of storage.
I would like to reflash the phone (want to create a car dash cam) so I don't really need wifi, data or Bluetooth.
Does someone know a way to determine the right install number. Or if the phone is fake...
The only version of g3 i know to have 2gb ram and 32gb of storage is the g3 isai in Japan

Surefire way is to take apart and look at motherboard
@DTTR, as mentioned, the only version with 2GB/32GB was the LG Isai. Released just before the G3. There's different models of that. VL with 3/32 and the FL with 2/32. Both are GSM. Appearance-wise the bottom looks a little different (if the front hasn't been replaced).
If that is what it is I don't know anything about FW/ROM availability.
This page seems to have the best spec sheet.
