What are the chances of getting stock android or a lineage OS build for this phone?

I really dislike how MIUI handles lock screen notification.

Yeah been using the Chinese ROM out the box. I got the play store installed etc. I like the way it looks but I hate the way it handles notifications! I hate how it handles custom ringtones and third party apps for stuff like messages, launcher etc. So now waiting on a proper android version to solves my problems!

Because it's the rule.If you don't know how to write,you can use Google Translate,Baidu Translate or Youdao Translate.Most people can't understand Chinese,so you should use English to make others understand what you want to say.

I purchased the mi6 yesterday based on the looks and performance/price ratio. I hope stock android comes pretty soon since I come from a Huawei Mate 8 which I had to sell because I freaking hate chinese customs.

It will take some time because of the limited source of the new snap 835. But it will come.

We Indians got this update almost a month ago..

We (or just me?) in the US haven't seen a thing yet. I keep my expectations low for Lenovo and it hasn't disappointed me yet

Verizon pixel 2 XL and October patch

Any one else surprised the phone is still on September's patch and October is almost over? Guessing due to Verizon?

No October patch and no factory images is actually really triggering for me on a $1000phone

I spoked with Google support and they have no idea when factory images will be posted, but they did say a security patch is coming this week but he didn't know what it contained or what version it will be when released.

No I'm in the US I register for the beta and now this is the second update for the beta. It looks like a security patch and better battery life that's it.

I call the G8s ThinQ also my own, and yeah it's kinda a bummer to still work with Android 9 because there are many features which i'd really like to have.
But positive is, the official Android 10 update from LG comes soon, it's release is planned for the 3rd Quarter this year! So just sit tight for a couple of more weeks...

there are no problems it runs very well in the interface it is much more fluid

The reason why I asked if the camera and gallery were working is because some were reporting they were not working.
Is there the whole .kds available 'cause I'd like to patch the boot image and root?

I will never ever buy LG again... seriously
Next to me is a Huawei Mate 20 lite... not even a flagship phone, but a LITE. And it got Android 10 a few months ago, while LG can't provide Android 10 to a flagship phone (even the regular G8 doesn't have Android 10 in all regions yet).
Still nothing in Germany, no OTA, no news somewhere about Android 10 rolling out... it's the same story as I experienced with the G6, but I was hopeful it wouldn't happen again
