Has anyone had any success in modding MCU code? I'm in need of rearview camera audio when the vehicle is in reverse. Willing to pay for custom development.

Hey everybody!
There was something that caught my attention lately and I wanted to ask a dev if he could give a look to it.
Supposedly the rear camera module on the 10.1inch models (and possibly 7.0inch ones) supports 1080p video recording and the front facing one 720p. Could somebody give a look on the kernel/drivers and media_profiles.xml (possibly the camera app too) and try to enable them?

Having little luck finding a canbus definition that works with my vehicle
I just installed a buttonless PX30 MTCD MX2 (will be swapping it for a PX5 in the next month) in my 2011 Chevy Equinox and i have tried a lot of the canbus settings with little luck
most work partially but only 1 i have found works so far with the steering sensor for my rear backup camera , and none so far work with my close object detection system and none have worked with all of the console/steering butttons but all settings have produced limited mapping capability
is there a reference or database around for best settings to use with different vehicles ?
i am also a developer , and have root access on my unit is there a way to setup my own definition to patch in the required canbus functionality
not sure if any of this stuff is open source or not any resources to help me out here would be highly appreciated

I would like enable the rear camera feature on My Opel Corsa with intellilink. Looking around I saw that throught the OpCom interface is it possible to enable additional feaures like outside temperature, voltage battery ecc... Is the rear camera activable with the same tool or is it possible to do without additional device?

my MCU has a reverse camera and only the preinstalled Avin app recognizes this camera.
I would like to take periodically snapshots with this av camera. Optimally with termux Api.

I'm using my mi mix 2 with havoc os 2.9 (android 9), that allows to record AUDIO in stereo, from apps like "hi-q mp3 recorder" if you select "raw source".
As long as I know that this way, this software is using both microphones (one up, and one down) and the recordings are awesome, I want to use a camera that ALSO is able to record audio in stereo.
- Is there a Gcam mod that does that ?
- ... Or any other camera app ?
- ... Or any way to change, e.g., the file /vendor/etc/media_profiles_v1_0.xml to record in stereo ? (already tried to set channels to 2 but it didn't worked)
... And the serious and hard way: I'm a .net + Lua developer, and I'd never made custom roms, so no idea to develop an app in android or even an entire custom rom. I'm assuming that it would be very hard for me to change, debug and made a gcam mod that allows what I want, because, in other words, I don't know where to start ... I prefer a more easy solution.
- Do ALL Android phones follow the same rule to get / set audio configurations ? Is there an 'official documentation' about it ?
