MoKee OpenSource is based on the Cyanogenmod. We update our source code frequently to keep up with the latest development, and not forgetting to merge in special features of our own at the same time.
A small group of people from around the world who are interested in Android launched this project on the 12th of December 2012, and is committed to make this ROM better and better. Like most contributors of open source projects (Omni, CyanogenMod, Slim AOSPA etc), we are doing all these in our free time as our passion…

What is the difference?
RELEASE: Tested after integrating new features, more stable than NIGHTLY. (Odexed builds)

HISTORY: Final odexded builds once a newer Android version is out and being built.
EXPERIMENTAL: Released when a new device is added or when a new feature is added for public beta testing and feedback. (Deodexded builds)
UNOFFICIAL: Maintained separately by individual developers, usually involves modification of shared code which cannot be merged (affects other devices), therefore maintained by the developer himself.
Note: We always test the shared code for bugs, however sometimes we may not be able to detect device specific bugs. If you have such issues, it will be better to report to the device maintainer.

Installation mode :
To install the clean rom:
Download the rom
enter the recovery
make all wipes (expect internal storage)
choose zip from SD and install
you can use a gapps any of its taste since it is for android 7.1.x
or you can go MokeeCenter after starting rom, there you can download the small gapps integrated into the system and have a lighter and clean rom.
To install upgrade:
Method 1:
just download the complete package via OTA
enter the recovery
only to wipe cache and dalvik (optional, I do not)
install the complete package downloaded via OTA
Method 2:
Download the complete package over the air and go to install update
let install automatically for you
Method 3:
Download only incremental updates
for that you need to donate 30 CNY for the team to release the feature on the device directly
But you can do this update without donation
just go on the site and click below build itself where it is written (upgrade: OTA to MK ...)
there will be the incremental free for you, this will save on your data package or in your spare time.

Mokee is cm based so bugs are same as cm

I would like to tell you that CM device tress still does not http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=69556066&postcount=1372
have a read onto this. CM official maintainer says this.

Nice to see an official build for 5x . As am too a flashaholic, I flashed it and found zero updates compared to crpalmer's kernel tree . All my alpha builds have the same issue .since this is an official one , we could expect some progress from his side too . I would thank for the official tag:highfive:

Does it have YuBrowser, it was great on my zuk z1 but not on this phone it makes system and everything slow.
Does it include dual sim patch because mine xperia m is c2005?

ROM in nice And Seems Stable for me .. So Btw i liked the BootAnimation And Inbulit Features So Ty ..
Edit : camera is working but when i trying to take video its not working only blank screen and closes

@EsromG5 can attach photos from this rom and can tell me if the problem with video recording fixed?

Change default language from chi to en : in build.prop change this line:
old = ro.product.locale=zh-CN
new = ro.product.locale=en-US
And a little help for you guys : Google Dialer v 9.0.155139499 (1201005) MOD : Dark Theme.Extracted from my phone.No problems for me

This has been my daily driver for 2-3 weeks now. I specially like the pixel like animation in navbar. Only problem is while using snapchat, sometimes it reboots automatically (that may be because snapchat demands too much resources). Other than that, no problems

1) Nandroid backup(in twrp recovery).
2) Flash in recovery SoundMod.zip
3) Instal Viper4Android apk (v2505 STANDARD and NOT v2505 nougat IO fix apk).
I am on Mokee b 2017.06.19.Sorry,no time to upgrade my phone.maybe in a few months.No problems.
Sound on my MH1C handsfree it's better.High volume + efects(thanks to V4A).

Hello! Pleas, help me. I have problem with tsubasa. But I haven't thread on xda (mokee). So when I connected to the internet - my device boots.
I have lasted recovery (twrp) and firmware.

always reboot after connecting wifi
i just install this rom on my single sim xperia M. when i connect my nicki to wifi, it always reboot. any solution?
before this i use kitkat 4.4 custom rom

Hey Mokee Team.. i flashed this ROM on my Sony Xperia M dual C2004 recently. As per new ROM flash guidelines i wiped all partitions and flashed this ROM but whenever i connect to mobile internet or WiFi in initial setup i landup to continuous reboot's. Pl rectify build defects.

you can use a gapps any of its taste since it is for android 7.1
or you can go MokeeCenter after starting rom, there you can download the small gapps integrated into the system and have a lighter and clean rom.
To install upgrade:
Method 1:
just download the complete package via OTA
enter the recovery
only to wipe cache and dalvik (optional, I do not)
install the complete package downloaded via OTA
Method 2:
Download the complete package over the air and go on to install update
let install automatically for you
Method 3:
Download only incremental updates
for that you need to donate 30 CNY for the team to release the feature on the device directly
But you can do this update without donation
just go on the site and click below build itself where it is written (upgrade: OTA to MK ...)
there will be the incremental free for you, this will save on your data package or in your spare time.

I can't seem to understand if this is based on CM or AOSP.

Is Mokee theme engine functional?

I am yet to be able to Download a full build, they are downloading very slow.

Does anyone have issue for fingerprint? It can register the first one, but never works for the next one.
Is it known issue in AOSP or CM? How about any other ROM? This is the first one I tried for my XT1641.

It's a cosmetic issue.
Just continue adding more and in the last press it will say enrollment failed - but it actually registers it.
Try unlocking with that finger and you'll know.

Because what you said is vague and isn't making sense!
1. If you're very concerned about battery life, don't flash a custom ROM or atleast wait for a stable release. It's like asking a 1 year old to do kick boxing. Let some development happen, then only will you even have decent battery life. It's the case with any ROM.
2. Stop complaining!

Latest nightly integrates OMS into rom, Must enable root in developer options and use an app such as selinuxchanger to change kernel to permissive.
