I'm unfamiliar with it. Why do you need access to download mode? I know fastboot, recovery, and bootloader tips but would like a little more information to know what to suggest.

What is...download mode? What do you mean? Just in case, this is no Samsung device. We only have Bootloader Mode (where you sideload OTAs, radios, bootloaders and more) and Recovery Mode.

This mode does actually exist. It's called firmware update mode. Can't remember how you access it though. Might be power and volume up.

I have a bricked nexus with locked bootloader And no way to unlock it .. I mean flash it with "*tot" firmware is the only way to unbrick it . and this method should be done with firmware update mode ! But my PC doesn't recognize my device . this is my issue !

You could download a factory image from here and flash it through fastboot.
I believe booting up the phone without a rom installed makes it boot in download/firmware update mode, at least that's what happened to me.
Edit: Power and volume up doesn't boot it up in firmware update mode, just tried it.

Xperia S Fastboot problem

So I was about to root my Xperia S and started reading a guide, it said that I would need to load some files into the phone using fastboot. After a while I figured out how to fastboot and managed to get the popup on my computer once, however, I didn't install it that time and now when I try to fastboot again I get the blue LED on my phone, my computer makes some noises indicating that something unusual have been conected, nothing happens and the phone shows the Sony logo.
Does anybody know how to fix the problem and get the popup on the computer to re apear.
I run a 64 bit windows 7 home premium.
Thanks.

So for Unlocking Bootloader You have to use fastboot mode.. ok
and after that, for rooting it should be done using flashtool in fastboot mode..
so here is the thing.. Download The Flashtool first And After extracting the files You'll Find a Folder Named Drivers.. first Install The Fastboot Drivers Even To Unlock The Bootloader..

Hello I have an Xperia S, with bootloader locked and recently installed a ROOM in order to get the 6.A.1.2.55 with root.
Installed from a ZIP from recovery mode following this post:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2009672
Now when I try to do step 7 (flash kernel and Baseband) Using Flashtool, Im unable to enter to the mode; when the windows prompts me, I turn off the phone, press and hold Vol up connect the USB but nothing happens, only the Sony Logo and then the icon of charging battery, I also tried to turn off the phone while holding Power button + Vol up (at the same time) and get the 3 vibrations, but the same result when I connect, the logo and the charging animations/icon..( no LED of any color or anything)
Im using the latest Flashtool version (0.9.9.0) with the drivers intalled (even though Windows security constantly pestered me about not being able to identify the source and signture) on Windows 7 64 bits..
Thank you..

You have to flash stock firmware with flashtool and wipe anything. Flashtool will recognize your phone.

The problem is that flashtool not recognize the phone...after a while the phone is connected to a computer, the LED changes to red color, then it does not help (POWER + VOL UP) .. only after some time returned to SONY logo.
Already starting to lose hope: (. Is there a way to repair.
I think the correct drivers are not intalled. You check this ? When led light change color as you said, maybe windows have trouble witth phone/flashtool driver
Previously, I had installed the drivers, and I was able to upload a new flash, etc. Suddenly, plugging into your computer, windows 7 x64 does not detect the device.: (
Do you have drivers for x64? Thank you for your help ..

Correct drivers are not installed. Download the correct x64 drivers for fastboot. Now wen u connct your phone in fastboot. Just keep the device manager opened and right click on the fastboot device that pops up on the device manager. From there go for a manual device installation by doing have disk and pointing to the right winusb.inf file. Search the forum for this method and relax, your phone is not dead.

What does it say when you plug it into the computer?
QHUSB_BULK?
I guess the better option is to try using LG flash tool to flash kdz, not sure if download mode will be booted since you mentioned download mode failed.
If none really work then should consider restoring stock rom using LG pc suite
Am I correct in saying the phone simply does not boot into download mode? You have have the phone off, hold + or - and plug USB in?

Hello!
I would like to ask you, that can you maybe help me with my LG G3 (D855) (16GB). I live in Europa, Hungary
I bought the device as used, and i would have liked to download the latest software via wifi, then on the phone restarted, and was only the TWRP on the phone, i restarted the device again, but i could entry only in the TWRP. I downloaded a ROM from the XDA, and i made a mistake, i installed the D851 software. The phone is bricked, no download mode. I tryed to unbrick, but every method need the download mode. If i put the device on the PC, the PC see only as modem. LGE AnroidNet USB modem, and the the port name LGE AnroidNet USB Serial Port Com4. If the battery is low, i see on the display, that show that need to charge, but nothing more life signal. If you can help me with some information and with files or via teamviewer, i will glad for you, and also donate. i think i have the correct TOT file, and the DLL file.
LGD855AT-00-V10k-234-30-VUK-SEP-03-2014-16G+0.tot
LGD855_20140526_LGFLASHv160.dll
I downloaded a program "BoardDiag3.99c.zip". but this program ask the BIN file, i found another program b2b.exe, that ask the TOT file at the extraction. Maybe that's is same?
As i wrote the PC sees my phone only as modem, and LGE AnroidNet USB Serial Port Com4. I dont know what is "Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008 mode", i dont see in the port menu. I hope that You, or someone can help me. i downloaded the QDLoader HS-USB Driver, but again show only the "LGE AnroidNet USB Serial Port Com4" (or now this is com41, i wanted to try a method, but need the download mode) Sorry for the bad english.

Can't boot Xperia M please help me!

Hi,
I tried to install TWRP (by a lot of different methods) but they didn't work. I was also have a fastboot & flashtool driver problem so I couldn't install it using computer either.
One day I saw an app in the play store called ROM Installer. I downloaded it and tried to flash twrp.img using it. It said flashing was succesful. Now I rebooted my phone to recovery (by the NDR Utils app) but it was just powered off and than red LED lighted up. After 20 minutes I removed the battery. (It didn't react to anything else) Then I tried to boot it but it didn't react. (nor boot to recovery or boot to safemode)
After 5 hours when I tried to boot it again it showed that battery is exhausted (by the red LED) I connected it to charger but it didn't do anythig except the LED lighting. If I disconnect it it shows the -exhausted battery sign- again.
If I connect it to my computer the red LED lights up but nothing else. The computer doesn't recognise it. I have no idea how to power it again.
Really thanks guys to help me.
PS I'm a novice so pls be patient (and sorry for my mistakes as well)

are you sure your device is really on unlocked bootloader condition? if that really on unlocked bootloader condition you only need to wipe data via flashtool. BTW install recovery on stock rom is only using flashtool for safe way. and usually CWM is only work on stock rom but if you want TWRP you can using FOTARecovery. i think that from kernel problem, cause if you install any recovery from app in playstore they will change your kernel with another kernel that have recovery mode. but if that kernel isn't compatible with your phone, your phone will soft brick. are you sure you have problem with flashmode and fastboot driver on your pc? i can tell you advanced than this if you can tell me which OS do you using it right now on your pc.
Don't worry your phone not fully broken

Thanks for replying.
My device on unlock bootloader I'm sure. (I called a strange number it showed a menu and in device info option it showed bootloader is unlocked.
Driver problems: When I connect the phone in fastboot mode the flashtool usually says: device not found - install the drivers from... I installed the drivers of my phone but it still didn't worked. I tried to update the 's1 boot fastboot' driver in device manager (picked the winusb inf file) but it said that that was a problem during installing: adb interface is missing. (but now I can't boot my device into fastboot mode)

My device on unlock bootloader I'm sure. (I called a strange number it showed a menu and in device info option it showed bootloader is unlocked.
