Hi guys i'm new to all this soo here is what i did.
I recently rooted my lg g3 V10l-EUR-XX and now i want to unroot it ... but the problem is that i found only the kdz file without the dll file ...
Can you please help me find it or if it's possible to downgrade it from v10l ? Sorry if i said something strange or impossible but i'm a complete newbie with the roots and stuff
If you download the LG PC Suite and click on "Restore Upgrade errors" it should reflash the current version, but i'm not sure as it might download the latest which is lollipop.
You could also flash your KDZ file using the LG Flash Tool. Without the need for a DLL file.

Because i have been reading a lot of post this week and everything messed up. That's why i didn't see that the LG Flash Tool doesn't require .dll file. I just brought my LG to stock and everything is fine ... Thank you for ''enlighting'' me ! :good:
In fact i have one more question ... probably a silly one but still. When the LG was still rooted i got an update for v20e i think but i didn't install it because i assumed that it will be bad and it will ''brick'' my phone ... and now when it's stock i don't have that update. What should i do or it is just a matter of time the update to show up ?

Since you device in now unrooted there will be no problem in updating. The update may show up some time, but you can always flash it if you want to.
NOTE: Lollipop CAN NOT be rooted.

and this can take between an hour and several days, so either wait for it or flash as suggested.

Thank you for all the help guys ... Some things are clearer to me now :good:
Hi, All. Ive followed XDA for a long time and love it. I love my verizon G-Pad but ever since the Lollipop update it has just been so slow and almost unsuable. Well ive got good news. Today i found a way to downgrade back to LG Official Kitkat 4.4.2.
Tool Used: LG Flash Tool 2014 - you can download from this thread
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2785089
I could only get this to work from LG's Download Mode (with tablet turned off, hold the Vol Up Key and plug in USB cord)
If you are running version 23A Lollipop you must downgrade to 22A first. Attempting to downgrade straight to 11A (Kitkat) will fail at 57% restore.
After downgrading to 22A, allow the device to fully boot then shutdown and return to download mode
Now push 11A firmware, everything should now go smoothly (at least it did for me)

Many Many thanks to the Devs of the LG Flash Tool for such a wonderful utility on LG Devices
tutorial?
How do I downgrade to 22a?
In the Firmware download link I've provided is the 22a and 11a firmwares. Follow the LG Flash Tool link for usage.

Hey man gotta question, my pad was on lollipop and only rooted with no real tweaks and I rebooted one day and it sticks at the Verizon logo. I can get to stock recovery where any selection goes to fastboot where any selection goes to a blank screen where I have to kill it. The couple others I've seen with this problem had success with the support tool / update recovery deal but mine says everything is up to date. I tried flashtool with a kdz and I get all the way to it supposed to send it but the tab download stays at 0% and nothing happens....I would rather have kk anyway would it be worth trying this , **** can't hurt the damn thing no worse lol tired of it sitting in my dresser where its been for months ...I really wonder wtf happened to it
EDIT...... OK I feel like a real dumbass lmao... Apparently the pc I was using had an Antivirus on it and apparently the flash tool doesn't play well with an Antivirus
OK has anyone found a twrp that will flash correctly on the vk700? The twrp floating around for gpad 10.1 only works on the v700 cuz its been bumped To work on the locked bootloader....

Does anyone know if it works on v700 ?

Well this downgrade is for vk700 not v700 which is a big difference, I found that out by trying to get twrp to work on my vk700 when it's only for v700 which if you have the v700 your better off

Hey Folks! I need help!
First sorry for my english, im from brazil.
I'm a Lawyer and i'm gonna sue LG company for a hardware problem ( SIM CARD REMOVED PROBLEM ). But my LG G3 have LG 6.0 Stock rom installed. I tried to root with King Root, it failed, but now even if i hard reset the phone it keeps installed!
(in brazil unlike USA, the company's don't support the costumer. They have given 1 year guarantee, i have the phone for 1 year and 1 month. They told can't help me but the brazilian Law says that if a unkown hardware problem appears then you have 90 days to sue the company.)
So i want to Go back to stock 4.4 ou 5.0, so if the judge need to avaliate, at least it will be known as unmodified.
When i updated to 6.0 Stock, i did with LG Flash tool 2014.
So i tried again to downgrade with LG Flash tool, but using the 20x kdz. I tried diferrent KDZ. My phone is D855P, tried D855 normal KDZ, tried 855P KDZ. but downgrade always failed " due to an error " on flash tool.
So i tried LG support Tool, gone do Download mode, but it stucks at 4%. ( and yes i tried to hard reset before starts the procedure.)
Someone can help me to unroot(i don't think is unrooted, but King root remain on the phone as a bloatware now), or return to 4.4 ou 5.0 stock?
thanks!:good:
Assuming you able to boot the phone, try to downgrade using LGUP instead lg flash tools

I was thinking about. As i already use "stock rom 6.0" and i just figured out how to uninstall "king root app". So now my Phone looks clean from bloatware. Guess now i can sue the company without being afraid of someone detect some mod on the smartphone.
Hi.
I purchased a second hand LG G3 quite a few months back, only to find out after trying to update that my version was the D858HK, which does not seem to have any official way to update past KitKat on the phone. After some digging around, I did find some methods, like flashing the KDz file. However, none of the KDz files I've found on the internet seem to match the model of my phone, which is D858HK10d, or v10d.
I was wondering if there is any other way to get rid of KitKat and move on to the newer versions.
It is rooted.
Thanks in advance, XDA Forums. You guy's do the Android God's work.

LG PC Suite doesn't recognize the phone. And the kdz files there dont include the model of my phone, which is a D858HK10d.
Where are you getting the model #? The 10d part may refer to the ROM as 20x would be LP, and 30x would be MM.

10d is the Software Version of Android KitKat..
Your device is D858HK.
So you can proceed installing that kdz file.
Hello!
I've got a little or maybe a big problem with rooting my LG G3. For now i've got android 6.0 Marshallow installed.
I spent on this whole day and I think i tried every possible way.
I tried stump root(i guess it only works for kitkat) , purpledrake root, kingroot..
Moreover I tried to downgrade to android 5.0 but my device is "unknown" for LG UP. Also, I tried LG Lash tool but it returned an error too.
Do you guys know any other way to root this device? Thanks in advance ;c
I got the same problem.
Hi! Sorry that I'm responding so late. I found that i had the problem with downgrading becouse of wrong LGUP zip.
I found correct one here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=81kb6fqHxUo&list=LLF_c9VT9RRrxMaH_s9qwFWQ&index=1&t=283s in video description.
Now with LP installed root should be possible.
