theres antirollback version .. find out what antirollback you in.. find it using the hidden menu code. for your phone. check on software and bottom antirollback.. theres i beleive 0-1-2-3.
if 0 i beleive that means thers no antirollback if on 2-3 then if you are on 3 and lollipop its on 2.. then you cant.. so check on whats your antirollback. and if you can downgrade.. then if you can download your variant KDZ file and LGUP to flash.

LG E975 - No LTE Option

Hello Everyone,
Hopefully this issue can be solved, as I'm using stock Android JB 4.1.2 (E97510h-EUR-XX) on my device and there is no LTE option in:
- System Settings> More...> Mobile Networks> Network Mode
Now, I believe it can be enabled by making a change to persist.radio.lteon as found here:
However, it requires root access and as far as I'm aware, there is no root exploit for E97510h-EUR-XX at this time:
- http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2163814&page=5
Here are my questions:
1. Is there any method to replace or edit persist.radio.lteon without rooting my device?
2. If 1 is not an option, is there any method to successfully root my device?
3. If 2 is possible, can I unroot and will this process be undetectable?
Any help is much appreciated :good:

He hasn't bought a Korean Optimus G, but an E975. But for some reason if you put a SIM card from one carrier in the phone you cannot choose LTE, but if you put in a SIM from a different carrier you get the option to choose LTE. That's because LG has had the brilliant idea to block LTE for some carriers on an LTE enabled phone.
You can try contacting LG so they release an update so that LTE will be enabled for your carrier, but it would be faster to root your phone and adjust the build.prop like you said in the first post.

Why bother putting Korean software on your European phone and risk having a bad experience (due to the fact that Korean software is guess what optimized for Korean carriers)? When you can just root your device and change the build .prop which is less trouble and less risky to perform than to put a Korean software on it.
But to answer the question of the TS. You can root the E975 10 H firmware. I used Framaroot, and it works fine. You can read all about in the thread FAQ (Freaking Annoying Questions) in the Q and A section.

risky ? how can be risky .. so people here happily flashing third party roms and that's alright and when try to use original official rom then is risky ????! man are you OK?
optimized for their carriers ? no .. only APPS are included .. and those apps can be easily ignored ..
i think that your buildprop editing is risky .. ordinary people wont be messing with customizing files
wait for carrier till end of march then
I dont need to read nothing for me all working am enjoying LTE(4G) u dont it is your problem what u do ..
do what u want ..
Chill out dude. I'm only trying to help the TS out. He didn't ask anything about flashing a ROM, only to solve his problem with or without root.
Flashing any custom ROM is more risky than rooting a device. As it involves more steps then just rooting. So why make it hard for yourself?
Flashing a Korean ROM would mean flashing a KDZ file (that's the way I changed the E975 10 H back to E975 10 D) and that process probably changes the baseband of your phone(which is not the right one for the E975), so it could definitely influence the experience and battery life, etc.
You say that ordinary people won't mess with the build.prop file but they won't have any problem with flashing a Korean ROM?
BTW: There is no need in quoting the very last post everytime you make a comment, as it is clear what you're replying on.

That quote button has reason to be there .. that is why am using it ... And people know which answer belongs to particular person ..
for me is easy flash kdz ... and then obviously u need to flash modem back .. that is not hard too ..
And u are right in only one thing .. yes when people changing roms flashing then phone drains battery .. yes when I converted to E975 my F180S battery was very very bad .. I flashed original korean back and battery is much much better .
Like I said you can try korean if no leave it and wait for carrier to sort it out .. but they have time tho
No one here recommends to flash korean kdz in international versions nd vice versa too... Try some othr rooting methods nd try to change the build.prop.... Have yu tried moto chopper root method...??
Edit: looks lyk moto chopper method doesn't help yu... Yu cant yu downgrade ur software nd root it....

[Solved] [Q] LG G4 H815K Australia Version

Ok I'm new to LG here. was a Samsung boy.
Is the "G4 (H815) for the EU open market" The same as the "H815K (Australian Version)"
Thats it. Cheers.

I should of been more clean in my Question.
The EU Lg bootloader Unlock that is available. would it work on the 815K compared to just a 815 or 815EU.
As far as i can gather from the state of these threads the phones are the same. (besided bands you mentioned) when it comes to unlocking the bootloader.
~Thanks in Advance.
Unlock only works for 815EU models currently.. No other models are supported/unlocked...

Cheers mate, That's the info i was lookign for.
I want to root my h815k model but i didnot find anything with h 815k file except the tot file to disable cores and get my device back from infinite loop but now to enable it back i need to root my device ....please anyone here knows the rooted system.img of exact version h815 k (k) --- that k ) or any method to root that specific model. Please guide me.

Time to root my LG G4 H-815TR v20i. What do I do?

I have boringly used an LG G4 for almost two years now. Just after a few months of using it, I had the bootloop issue, LG gave me another G4 which I've been using for more than a year. But I believe it is time to unlock the true potential of my phone. I've transferred all my pics and vids and similar stuff to my computer, so now it's go time. The only thing is... I don't know what to do.
Model number: LG-H815TR
Android version: 6.0
Android security patch level: 2017-03-01
Kernel version: 3.10.84
Build number: MRA58K
Software version: V20i-TUR-xx
These are the info I think are relevant. I have no experience in rooting whatsoever. What do I do now? (an up-to-date detailed guide also works for me)
Hey,
I still need help for this.
I've checked online and couldn't find anything for H-815TR v20i running Marshmallow.
Can someone come to my rescue?

It's very easy:
You can't unlock your device because LG allows unlocking of the 815 international version and 811 only.
Marshmallow can be rooted on unlocked devices only (so not on yours).
If you really need root you need to downgrade to lollipop.
Downgrading to LL requires a compatible anti roll back version. Search the forum for the code which displays your current antirollback version and the how-to for downgrading and rooting LL
.
Sent from my LG-H815 using XDA Labs
Oh okay.
So I can't root my phone as is, I need to downgrade to Lollipop to do that.
Well I was thinking of flashing some custom ROMs and maybe underclocking for more battery life but given that this is my only smartphone I'd better stick to its current state then.
find the service menu for your phone. Google lg g4 service menu. call that number. check anti roll back version (last entry) if 0 you should be ok to downgrade, if not 0 downgrade will likely brick your device.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/g4/help/lgup-install-kdz-mm-lp-t3249803
read carefully and ask a any questions before using LGUP if unsure
after that you can root with https://forum.xda-developers.com/g4/general/lg-g4-100-root-success-directives-root-t3180586
or upload your img file and kindly ask someone to root it for you and re-upload it
Anti-rollback version is 0.

Is It Safe To Downgrade From MM To LL ?

I got LG G4 Korean Variant (F500L) Unlock
I'm i going to downgrade it safe without hard brick or bootloader lockout ?
info :

you need to go into hidden menu. and go to software and look at antirollback.. am no t also sure but seems a 0 means you can if it has a number like V1 V2 V3 if you in V3 and lollipop is in V1 wich ithink it is. cant.
