[Theme] BUUF 1.5 Cyanogen 3.9.10 (8/14/09)

Hi Guys
For all that are unfamiliar with BUUF, it is a set of icons made for the desktops. Hopefully i recreated this experience to our beloved Android. All icons are courtesy of its creator Mattahan, the battery was supplied by Mr. Stylo and the clock was made by Rontz. Everything else by me 8) I really hope you guys enjoy this as I have put in quite a lot of time. Up to date we have 550+ icons changed in this theme and these pics really dont reflect the extensive amount of makeover it has gone through. I want to thank Stericson for giving the community and myself a great new hobby. Necromancer for his ubuntu theme which inspired me and everyone should go d/l it 8) Last but not least, Dave the illest for originally supplying the update.zip and the tools necessary to create my first release. Latest build is built from the ground up. If you use any of my icons go right ahead as long as you give me credit 8)
7/9 Sorry guys its been almost 5 months since i last updated this thing. Been so busy with work and now that I'm finally happy with a stable build out there, I decided to finally start porting this thing over. This has only been tested on Cynogen's build 3.6.5 You guys can test it on other builds at ur risk. 8) This is not a full change over as I have done previously in JF builds. I will continue to release new revisions as i have time to update the current icon set. This update may also require that you are running apps2sd as the update file is fairly large. I havent tested it on a non apps2sd build yet so someone can let me know. For now it will only be one color. as the theme gets more complete, I'll release new colors. Ok enjoy 8)

I'm working on a theme using the icons from GANT (actually GACK, the OS X version of GANT since it uses PNG icons) if dthadamaja doesn't beat me to it
I'm almost done with all the icons, but I still need to add resources like the tab, status bar, battery icons, wifi, a bootscreen, etc. I'm starting from the default RC30 so it won't have any elements of the Windows 7 theme in it, but it will probably have a lot of the default stuff...
I'll make a new post when I'm done, but it will probably end up looking a lot like this since GANT and BUUF are highly similar (but GANT has a bit more gloss to it)

Installed the theme with no issues..
Some of the icons are a bit blocky (calendar, browser bookmarks, refresh, etc) though. I hope these get fixed as it moves out of beta.

Sweet I had my TyTN II all GANT'ed up so this would make my G1 that much better! Can't wait for a release

hey how did you change the unlock pattern for the theme? where were those files located?
is it just in the framework.res folder? and you either tweak the icons given or replace them with your own personal image?
im tryna grasp the whole concept of the phone, im making a theme as well
wanted to try and edit everything, why not, unlike others i have a lot of free time this term in school, so why not
also you said u used the "windows-step by step" instructions to sign and create your app? i am having troubles with the signing of the apk

I was soooooo waiting for the black and white theme but you have renewed my love for GANT. Manhattan the kid that came up with these icons is amazing. I think he was 13 at the time he created the first GANT theme.

oddly, i tried reupdating to deepblack and after the alt+s process this themes icons came up....

BuuF is the name of the icon pack. Go to deviantart.com and type in buuf or gant

The difference between the stock market theme and special edition. What I spotted so far from unboxing. There's an extra two wallpapers to choose from. Also the colours, the app draw colours are gold and red instead of silver and red. Example all the app icons drawn silver round the edges and the lock screen phone and camera icons are solid silver. Special edition are gold. I would love to see them in gold they look sexier. Only 1000 being made, might not see this theme dumped tho.

Sure some one could chage the old theme to new one by editing the icons ect in photo shop ect
Ps why don't you email people that have the s6 on YouTube see if they send you the wallpapers if you can explan to them how to extract the wallpapers apk

Be quite cool if could edit full normal theme to make into limeted edishion one my icons I did are just an example that possibility it could be done if any ones willing to take the time and edit all the icons ect in the theme

spent all day editing the original theme to look like the limited edition one
sent off to a themer to build theme and to test it

It's a long shot but has any one tried changing there location using a vpn if lucky might be to get the theme off samsung that way not sure how the theme app works tho

I added the normal Iron Man theme and tried to change just the icons to the gold ones use Icon Changer but it shows the black circle around them like normal icons unfortunately.

These Avenger themes have sweet looking icons and backgrounds, but it sucks that they crash cocktailbar. Has anyone had any luck working around the issue?

Actually all 3rd Party Themes are crashing on mine too, it closes and a "Unfortunately, Cocktailbar Service stopped" message pops out. Default theme works good.

Hello everyone, i made this thread because i want to share someone's work with all the P8 Lite owners.
Its a theme made by vobiscum for the ppl using Honor 7 phones. I found about the theme when it was at version 9, atm is at version 15.
I think is one of the best out there, for me at least is the current theme.
Why do i write about it, because we P8 lite users can use this theme and all should give a big :good: to VOBISCUM for his work.

Because i can, i modified it by changing the icons (i like the Dives Icon Pack ) and also i incorporated in it status bar icons plus notification panel from another theme.
I hope someone finds useful this thread and likes the theme.

Can I have your customized version..??

Very nice theme, looks very Nougatish. Totally happy with it. My only complain is the lock screen that comes with this theme. The notifications are not showing in the lockscreen so i got back to using the Magazine Unlock. Not much of a difference anyway. Nice work!

What new theme would you like to see on the Huawei P8 Lite

As I need to kill some time in between waiting for CyanogenMod/LineageOS to compile, I wanted to take up theming.
Instead of just randomly making a theme and throwing it out into the wilderness, I wanted to develop a theme that people would actually enjoy to use.
So, what theme would you like to see for the Huawei theme engine (and perhaps LineageOS theme engine, once we get the ROM released as stable)?
I have some ideas but I wanted to see what the community would like:
iOS Theme (yes, really... please don't kill me)
MIUI theme
Flat theme
EMUI5 Theme
Futuristic theme
Sherlock theme? (Although movie-based themes are usually quite naff)

Do you think you can adjust the blur effect? The Stock Huawei status bar has already Blur, but not as in IOS: P Is it possible? btw. emui5 theme already exist

We can only set one folder style with the creator. Also sony's keyboard is only themable with old versions.

It's a permanent color. If I was using root theming method I could make it change with theme accent but with Xperia theme creator it's impossible.

If you need some advices with theming, don't hesitate guys ?

@niaboc79 excellent work as always. I really miss your rom on my old Xperia SL. I wish you had Z5 too, really miss you there. Loved your themes then and now!. Only few devs working on <= Nougat devices. Thank you for being one!. Using your themes for Lockscreen Clock styles, switches and icons + my dark theme. Perfect! :highfive:

But there are two question for me left, i hope you skilled guys can answer me:
- Is it possible on Non-rooted devices to change icon in settings?
- Theme creator has light (white background) and dark (grey background) resources. White background is used, but how can i switch from light to dark? Is there a "switch" somewhere or do i need to edit the colours of the light into dark?

No you can only changes assets supported by theme creator because only these assets have permissions inside various apps.
Light and dark assets are related to apps who are already light or dark theme. You can't switch between light and dark.

It's a pity, because there is no good stock custom rom for this phone.

Do they work with XZ2 compact with Android P (unrooted)? If not, are you planning to update them in order to make them work? I'd really like to buy the MIUI 10 limitless theme - very very beautiful!
