cant unlock bootloader.
so no roms
only if you on lollipop it can be rooted.
if on marhsmallow you need to know if downgrade is posible theres antirollback in some variants. cause if you do it bricks phone.
if you on marshmallow and can be downgrade. then search for low effort root. you need to inject rooted system.img to phone. search.

how can i root canadian H812 with android 6?

Simple answer: you can't. Refer to the following: [Canadian Guide] - Complete Source for the LG G4 H812. Linux VM/Root/Tools&Files at https://forum.xda-developers.com/g4/general/canadian-guide-complete-source-lg-g4-t3212449
Keep your questions on that thread with respect to the H812.

Another simple answer: You can't, at this point in time.
This thread did not need to be started. A simple search re: the H812 would have led to [Canadian Guide] - Complete Source for the LG G4 H812. Linux VM/Root/Tools&Files at https://forum.xda-developers.com/g4/general/canadian-guide-complete-source-lg-g4-t3212449
All your questions and answers have most likely been covered in that thread. Read the OP and for that matter all the posts there - when you have a question, see if it has already been answered by doing a search of the thread first, before posting.

Simple answer yes - IF the carrier down there provides it, whether you're roaming from your own carrier or in the case where you're installing a sim card from a carrier that is on GSM, if you're carrier unlocked.

LG G4 Marshmallow Update on H815T

I just wanna ask if there's a marshmallow update on HK version (H815T). It always says I am using the latest version OS but still my android version is 5.1 and my Software version is V10e-HKG-XX
Thanks!
I didn't hear anything about the HK variant. It seems that Europe should receive the first MM batch alongside South Korea.
Sent from my LG G4 using Tapatalk
If you don't want to bother waiting you can flash the H815 MM kdz through LGUP. I've been on it for weeks with my H815T and everything works as it should. When the official H815T update is released it'll be pretty easy to swap over as well.

You're talking about this thread here, right??: http://forum.xda-developers.com/g4/help/lgup-install-kdz-mm-lp-t3249803
I'm on the the H815T on v10c-HKG-XX with root and Xposed. Were you able to upgrade your firmware and keep your apps/settings/data, or did you have to do a full wipe before you flashed?
Can you explain to us exactly how you did this and your steps? Nobody in that thread with an H815T is sharing their details. Do you have a link to the kdz you used? Did you have to modify your prop file? Were you rooted before?
Nothing fancy needed, just download a H815-20A/B kdz (I used the one provided by autoprime's thread) and then basically decide if you want to upgrade or wipe (refurb). I've tried upgrading and it'll work, you'll keep all your apps and settings from 10C; personally I like to start fresh so I wiped my phone and then restored apps through LG Backup. That being said you'll lose xposed and root either way until someone figures out a way to unlock the bootloader.
Marshmallow is now available to download from LG bridge for H815T. Enjoy
Here's a HK thread talking about it.

I think you are mistaken! LG Bridge is not showing any updates aside from v10e. I'm guessing that you're confusing it with the H815 Taiwan edition???
---------- Post added at 06:59 PM ---------- Previous post was at 06:03 PM ----------
It's not showing up on Bridge, but take a look at this: http://opensource.lge.com/osSch/list?types=NAME&search=h815
Is that the H815T rom or is that just useless code???
Yeah, i just rechecked. its showing v10e now instead of v20a.
See my screenshot. Its an HKG version.

Hello, how are you? i have few questions to ask, i have H815T
1 - Can i install KDZ MM for H815 from autoprime thread to my H815T with LGUP refurbish option?
2 - Which method is required to root this MM rom
3 - After rooting if i want to go back to stock to receive official update, should i install V10e with LGUP to downgrade and lose root.
4- Which rom you are using? are you rooted?
5 - Any chance of CM13 for H815T without bootloader unlock?

I can answer #5 for you. For now you need to have an unlocked bootloader to flash CM13. In the future something may come out but its not guaranteed.

Let it be then. I don't see any real needs to flash V20C. I am now using V20E on my H815T HK version which is very good in terms of battery life and performance.

Downgrade H815 (Taiwan Version) from MM TO LP?

Well, I thought buying this phone would end my terrible relationship with ATT's Note 4 for good... Hell it's even an H815 for christ sakes....
But it seems like it can't be rooted on MM due its bootloader being locked :/
Yes, I did try using the official unlock tool but, as some of you know it doesn't work for the Taiwan version (Just my luck).
However, I looked around and saw that the Lollipop version can have root/twrp installed WITHOUT unlocking the bootloader.
In conclusion, my question is............. will I be able to downgrade from MM to Lollipop?

From what I know the H815 model can be unlocked. But I think it's only the International one. There's an unofficial unlock in the works, just look around on the forums, haven't been that interested 'cause I'm rocking an International model

Come back when you have unlocked your device:
Unlock and root is not the same!
You need an unlocked bootloader for twrp.
Bootloader of H818 cannot be unlocked yet and maybe never will.
That means no twrp for you.

Should I downgrade it to it’s stock rom running LP 5.1 and then rooth it from there? Any suggestion is much appreciated. Thanks.

depends if phone can be downgraded.. some phone have antirollback.. example i have h811 and if am on lastest 20pMM its V3 so i can only downgrade to MM 20o... if i was on MM20i i could downgrade to LP 10n as 10n and 20i are V2.. so you need to ask what antirollback version your phone is.. some can.. and some phone cant be downgraded after you on specific firmware... try the hidden menu and check the software then scroll down and it says wich antirollback you are on. otherwise youll hard brick phone.

One has to wonder if anti-rollback is permanent on the device or not, even with bootloader unlocking and or root access.
Root is now quit possible with the new vulnerabilities found. Now it seems to be a wait and see game if there are any devs that care to tackle certain G4 models that cannot be self-rooted yet. The dirty cow code is out...so yeah.

Can and how do i downgrade and root using a h81210b image (http://bit.ly/2q2Rbve) without anything going sideways?
And can you upgrade to MM keeping root?
Help (and no things going sideways) would be appreciated

you need to know your antiroll back. you get there by using the hidden menu then software.. if its 0 then i beleive its okey if it has a number like tmobile like am on latest 20v its antirollback V3 and lollipop is V2 so i cant.
once lollipop rooted and update to MM no you cant keep root.

Hi,
I have an Lg G4 h812 with H1220z software version. Now i have a couple'a questions someone needs to answer.
Can and how do i downgrade and root using a h81210b image (http://bit.ly/2q2Rbve) without anything going sideways?
And can you upgrade to MM keeping root?
Help (and no things going sideways) would be appreciated

You should first and foremost be posting in [Canadian Guide] - Complete Source for the LG G4 H812. Linux VM/Root/Tools&Files at https://forum.xda-developers.com/g4/general/canadian-guide-complete-source-lg-g4-t3212449
Everything you are asking is covered there.
The statement by Minto107 in post #4 here about 99% of H812's having anti-rollback is factually incorrect - I had an H81220X before rolling back to h81210N and you will note in the Guide I Linked above, almost no one cites having anti-rollback. Now, with that said, I cannot comment on the H81220Z version. It is possible that it has an anti-rollback provision.
In any event though, if you use LGUP-NEW (https://forum.xda-developers.com/g4/help/lgup-install-kdz-mm-lp-t3249803) to do the roll-back, it should throw up an error that indicates a rollback version problem. It is the only flash/rollback tool you should use in this case.

Factually incorrect. See my comment regarding your statement about the H812 and anti-rollback in this post, above ...
