Hey. My phone was little laggy this afternoon and had %50 battery. I replaced my battery around 6 months ago. I power off the G3 then tried to power on but nothing happened. I tried to get into recovery mode by pressing both power and volume down keys but nothing happens. When I try to power on normally, nothing happens too. When I try to charge it no lights come out of that little light on top of the phone too. I mean no LG logo nothing. What should I do?
also when i plugged it into my computer in device manager it shows something like "qhsusb_bulk". i searched google but they are all about bricking.
If the Windows computer sees the phone as "qhsusb_bulk", the phone is bricked: https://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/general/unbrick-lg-g3-qhsusbbulk-qualcomm-9008-t3072091
In my case I successfully recovered qhsusb-bulk with this http://www.androidbrick.com/unbrick-recover-your-dead-lg-g3-g2-all-variants/
the thing is i never tried to rom/jailbreak etc. i was running official lg os. should i still try this guide?
Give it a try.At least it won't make worse.

Hello, i bought an older desire, installed cyanogenmod 7 on it and all was running ok for ~4 days.
2 hours ago i left the phone on the table, battery was around 70%, when i came back screen was blank and i was unable to turn it on or restart it. I pulled out the battery and then inserted it back, after turning on the screen is blank and the phone permanently vibrates.
i have tried common key combinations mentioned on forums (vol - + power, back + power, vol - + power + home) with no change, the screen remains blank and the phone constantly vibrates.
i have tried to connect it to pc and to boot into recovery blindly, adb / fastboot doesnt list it after any of the key combinations, lsusb also doesnt list it, it only drains some power from usb.
I would like to know what happened, i would have understood if something like that had happened while i was flashing it / rebooting it after flashing, but it ran just fine for over 4 days. Now i have a nice usb powered vibrator :]
Would anyone care to help me with my issue? It doesnt seem to be covered anywhere on the forums. I am an android newbie but i can test probably any idea you may give me. Many thanks.
Very strange...
Try to remove the SD and the SIM to discard them as the problem.
Good luck
i have already tried that. and i have tried all combinations of sim / no sim, sd / no sd.
no effect.
i have got the same problem!!!
i've tried to root my desire following the instructions from internet, maybe i did something wrong. after i running bootloader from hdbootscreen it run in cmd window from pc the moment later it automatic shutdown the screen to black but the phone system was seem still work. ive tried to remove battery SIM SD card and reboot by combined button like instructions but nothing above screen, just stayed black screen, but my phone vibrated when i try to push power on
i hope anyone can helps us, ive just bought it 2day ago.
thank in advancej
Hey mate
I gave my old desire phone to my dad to use and I got that problem. According to him, he turned the phone off to charge and when he turned it on it just constantly vibrated.
Kinda puzzled me at first, I pulled the battery, sim and SD out but didn't fix it. Found my other genuine spare battery for it and put it in, I let it charged for a bit and turned it on.
Phone's now working with the other battery, I think I eliminated the problem but I'll have to hear back from my dad to see if he encounters the problem again.
Hope that helps you mate
I have a Google Galaxy Nexus and was using it last night (8/11)--it was a bit slow, as it has been for a few weeks, so I shut it down and hope restarting may help. When I started it back up, it was stuck on the "Google" word for about an hour and then I suppose lost power. I was not near a computer to plug it in.
When I got home, I plugged it into my pc to charge, then read online to hold down Power + Up + Down, which I did. I got to the Recover console with the "start" and little Android guy and the white arrows. However, no matter what I press (power, up, down) nothing happens. I cannot get past this screen. Also, my pc was trying to find drivers for it and couldn't. What should I do? And is there a way to preserve anything on the phone? I have not modified the phone in any way (rooted or whatnot).
I think you cannot move between options because the bootloader is locked. Can't say 100% that's the cause of it though.
Thank you for replying. If that is the case, how do I fix that?
And after it ran out of power, I charged it again and tried starting it normally and it started. So I have no idea what is going on. However Im now afraid to restart it in fear it will be stuck on the logo again. It still runs a bit slow.
So I guess I have 2 questions:
1) If I have to load it into recovery again and no buttons work, how do I fix that?
2) Since it did start again, but runs slow, what could be going on? Any tests I can run?
Thanks!
Hi.
I had a HOX which I wanted my daughter to use, which was running android Revolution custom ROM, but the battery was on the way out. So I purchased a new battery, dismantled the phone with no issues, changed out the battery and put it back together. I then gave it a full charge, till the charge light was green. But now the phone will not switch on at all. I have tried the usual button tricks, power + Vol Up & Down, Power + Vol Down to try and reset the battery status or boot it into recovery, but nothing works. I just get a Green double flashing light after about ten seconds, and this only goes on while you hold the power button down. The phone is recognised when you plug it onto the PC. I tried updating the drivers in the PC to see if this woudl help, as I read this as a suggestion as well, but nothing seems to be able to get it to start up again.
Took it apart again today, put the old battery back in, checked no cables had come out. All well but it still will not power up.
I am at a loss as to why this is the case. Spent the last week on and off online looking for a solution, but have found nothing that works.
I can't find anything about a double flashing green light when you try to power up the phone.
If anyone has any idea how to get it at least booting back into recovery that would be great!
TIA.
Not sure if there's anyone left who browses this forum, but I guess it never hurts to try. If there's a better place to post this nowadays, please let me know!
I have been using my Samsung Galaxy S II Epic 4G Touch for about 9 years now. I never messed around with rooting or installing any custom stuff.
I don't remember what version of Android it was using; I'd assume it was whatever the latest official version was.
Last night, I was reading an ebook on my phone; nothing out of the ordinary. Phone seemed fine. Battery was at about 75% or so.
And then, for no discernible reason, the phone froze and became unresponsive. I tried rebooting, and when I did, a screen came up asking for a "PIN or password to access the encrypted device memory" or something like that.
I had never seen anything like that screen before.
I tried restarting again, but this time, the phone just straight up would not power on. The device's status/power light was a steady blue, not blinking.
If I held down the power button for about 5 seconds, the light would briefly turn off and then go right back to the steady blue. The phone's screen remained blank.
I tried using a different battery, but it made no difference. The phone simply wouldn't boot at all and would not give any indication that it was accepting a charge. I tried holding down the volume buttons and home button in addition to the power button, but it made no difference. Couldn't even get the Samsung splash screen.
I tried connecting it to the USB port of my laptop and desktop PC. Neither device could detect the phone.
So, I'm left wondering, did my phone just suddenly "brick" itself or experience a sudden hardware failure? Is there anything I can do to salvage my phone?
Thanks.
Hello, and thank you in advance. I have a Pixel 6 Pro from Telus Canada, (not sure if that matters)
Recently the phone would randomly freeze and then shut off. It would only boot back up after I held the power button down, and sometimes even then it would basically decide if it was going to turn back on at that time, or later.
I had it up and running for a solid night, then it shut off now and will not power back on. I tried to hold the power button for over a minute, Had it plugged in to the charger, which I charge my other phone off of with no problems. Still nothing. I tried plugging it into my computer and do not even get anything recognized on windows.
Is there anyway to use ADB to force boot the device or put it into safe mode? I tried the "hold down power, then push the volume down". Nothing.
Just wondering if there is anyway to get this thing diagnosed, or am I out of luck? I am pretty tech savy, I used to mod phones, repair etc. so if i have to do something like take it apart, its out of warranty so that isnt an issue.
I am using my old pixel 4 and I would really like to get my 6 pro running again if possible.
Thanks!
