It's not a flashable zip though... So you need to extract the file there and manually place it in framework folder.

Hi, what am I supposed to do with the jar file? I want to have Super User rights and still use the Stock Rom, without opening the Bootloader or other risky methods. I'm afraid I couldn't find your tutorial in search.

Are you sure? I've heard it's possible to Root the Phone without changing the ROM.
And looking at shysparrows profile makes me think i might be right.

But this process needs a change in ROM. I want to keep my German Stock Rom, without deleting any of my Data and settings. Only add the Super User rights to my device. Is this possible in any way? Or will it be in the future?

U can't just get ur hands on Rooting (SU rights) without giving up data or Region.
If u really want to root ur device, this is the thread which can help : [GUIDE] Update to KitKat with locked bootloader & root
Yes u'll lost data (moborobo might help in certain backup & restore, I've used it) and as far as German Rom is concerned, this method replaces with UK Rom.
Umm so Root or Not to Root ur call..
Finally some clarity. I guess I won't Root it. Thanks for your help!

It really depends on the device and the firmware installed in it
I dont know if flashtool works, but i think it should, try checking in general forums of your handset for rooting guides

I think you should give 2-3 months, this phone is just released, it will take time for devs to find a hole to root the phone
Is there any tutorial/Guide on how to install Lollipop on Xperia S?
I have absolutely no idea on how to do that. And how do I check if my bootloader is unlocked or how to unlock it? I just need a complete guide with the whole process. Thanks in advance.

I just have enough of 9.0's camera "quality" on my XA2. I've just got a new software "upgrade" and of course they did not fix this.
Is it possible at all to go back to 8.1 ?

I've done it with Flashtool - simple and quick process.
I preferred to ask first, because with my other device (Moto Z2 Play) the downgrade is not so easy to do.
