Sometimes device name not show in cast screen...
and sometimes it shows and mirror my device also...But it is not showing now.. Today in morning it works well..but is not it is not working.(Device name not showing)

I took a pretty long video and am trying to upload it to youtube. It's 535MB because it was shot in 1080p. I use the camera app to upload to youtube from the preview area. When I start uploading a progress bar appears, then the screen eventually turns off. After 30 minutes I come back and wake the phone and the connection is lost, so I push the retry button. The progress bar appears again with maybe 5% and starts going up. I leave the phone again and the same thing happens. Upon the third time, there is no bar and it says I have no uploads (this is my first video upload using youtube on this phone). I have no data plan and only use wifi. I check the wifi settings and the wifi defaults to always on in sleep mode. What could be the problem? I think I had a similar problem with my old GS3 and iPad. When I am uploading pictures to dropbox, it just stops uploading after a few minutes, most likely corresponding to the screen turning off automatically.
Do you have SIP droid installed? If so get rid of it.
Try disabling power saver mode if it's on.
Do you face this issue with other wifi networks too or just yours?
Also try changing your router security to WPA to WEP.
IF nothing works, give factory reset a shot.
Hello, Ive been using miracast / screen mirroring on my Sony Bravia TV for a while. Recently I converted my HTC One M8 into the google play edition. Since then I am not able to using screen mirroring. I can find my TV on the list under display settings - Cast Screen but it wont work. It says connecting then the screen flashes and it displays my TV name again as if I didnt press it. Help?
When I press the icon on the watch face the green circle just keeps spinning.
I can reply (using voice) to the incoming message after notification pops up, but I can not "view conversation" - screen flickers as if trying to open a window and stays the same.
Works fine on the connected phone.
Anyone else?
Works fine for me, try to sync apps again and failing that do a factory reset on the watch

I frequently used screen mirror from Google Home app to share the screen to some Chromecast.
Well, it works for some times then hangs.
The attached video shows that starting mirror no screen share permission pop-up is shown.
A reboot is necessary to fix.
Any suggestions?
