It's not possible yet to s-off the tegra3 hox, the s4 version you can

That RUU doesn't exist, the latest is 2.17.401.2

If your version number is 502 I'm afraid you can't use the 401 ruu unless you have s-off
What version are you on now?

... I meant, isn't the 2.20.502.7 firmware for the One XL. Which it is. I.e., not for this phone.

can i downgrade the firmware from 2.12.401.3 to the older 1.54.401.10 ?
anyone tried this ?

yes as long as you are soff

Make sure you use a firmware that has all the files in it. If you take just an OTA, you risk a permanent hard brick.
