Systemless Xposed without Magisk - Xiaomi Mi Max Questions & Answers

Is there a possibility of a systemless xposed without depending on magisk?
I'm following this post (which has been proven to work) to get systemless root (already installed and working) as well as systemless xposed without tripping safetynet.
However, the only build of a systemless xposed for MIUI on MM I can find is xposed-v87-sdk23-Magisk-MIUI-edition-by-SolarWarez-20161127.zip - which clearly depends on magisk. I took a look at the zip contents, and much stuff does heavily depend on magisk.
However, Magisk is not needed anymore (suhide and root switch work better) and will only trip safetynet, so I don't want to install it.
Any ideas? Is there a build of systemless Xposed for MIUI without anz magisk stuff?

Anyone found a way to root or flash a custom rom that i can use xposed, have root and pass safety net?

you can try magisk for root, but using xposed with magisk with it might trigger safetynet

[D855][20H/I] Systemless root, or root without triggering safetynet

Hi
I'm currently running a fully stock (used to be running 6.0, then 5.0, then rooted + twrp then fulmics.... before discovering that safetynet didn't like that) and was wondering if there is a way to get root without having safetynet detecting anything, on either 5.x or 6.x
I've seen suggestions to install TWRP and then flash a systemless supersu or magisk, but in order to install TWRP, I need to be rooted, plus I think (?) having TWRP installed would trigger safetynet, but don't quote me on that.
I've been thinking about whether it's possible to set up root methods like this or this install supersu systemlessly, but I don't understand enough to be able to do that by myself.
edit: bootloader is locked... I'm not sure you can unlock it?
Thanks for any help

magisk + magisk xposed

Hello everybody, im thinking of flashing magisk + magisk miui xposed in order to get root and pass safetynet, but my question is anybody here has done that? And it passes safetynet?
Thanks.
If you mean miui mm (6.0 based), it worked, but you need https://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/magisk/xiaomi-safetynet-fix-t3600431
I tried beta 3 and it worked.
Well, i flashed all of that and didnt pass safetynet. Gonna stick to SuperSU

Will camera2api trip safety net?

I'd like to enable camera2 api, but I need to keep Android Pay working. I thought of installing TWRP and flashing modified build.prop through it without rooting, but I'm not sure if unlocking bootloader won't be enough to trip safety net. Anyone tried this?
Your best move would be to unlock the bootloader (this can fail safetynet), then install magisk for root which you can then use to pass safetynet as it will hide root etc.
Then using root from magisk you will be able to use a root explorer to enable hal3 or alternatively you may use a magisk module to enable it.
I'm using a custom ROM and magisk and am able to use android pay

Undo Magisk root and use SuperSU?

I rooted my S20 Ultra (SM-9880) with Magisk, but since it is a systemless root, it does not allow the installation of apps on the system folder, which I would like to do with anti-theft apps. Is there any way to undo this and root it with SuperSU instead? Or is Magisk the only option for this device?
