RC = Release Candidate, sort of beta version but more refined...
Crystal rom use old CM11 source which still use prebuilt kernel, I strongly suggest you to use a more recent rom which based on newer CM11 by armani-dev (or maybe CM12 based rom).
Currently there are no custom kernel for old rom except you flash kernel compatibility before flashing custom kernel, also don't forget to download the right version of kernel which is for CM11

Hi there guys , So I decided to install the custom rom on my uncle's redmi 1s since he want the better battery life. So can you guys suggest me any best custom rom MM or N with better battery life then MIUI and also rom which don't give error on flashing gapps tht you have insufficient storage. I was looking for AICP or Lineage. Are they worth.

For me they are nt still stable yet. Go for MM roms(CM13, slim6) those roms are good in terms of battery drain when not using in comparison with miui. SOT is similar in all roms(KK,LP,MM,N)(~10-20%) different from each other.
I'm a redmi 1s user. I've tried many custom ROMs on this phone. The best that I found was slim6 in everything, i found it fastest. But if you need android nougat then AEX (AOSP Extended) is the best, it supports substratum. I'm using AEX in present. Battery is best in slim6 but it is android marshmallow. Both roms are pre-rooted.

Which is the best Kernel for Yureka plus on lineage 13 (6.0.1). I have heard that Thunderzap is the best but is it compatible with android 6.0.1?
Sent from my YU5510 using Tapatalk
all are best try any one
thunde zap gives random reboot and excess heating problem
ols tell me the best custom rom for z2 plus
Best rom
You can have mokee rom if you want. It is very stable and gets ota update regularly. Overall great rom ! But the only thing is it doesnt support volte so if that matters to you then you might not choose mokee. You can go for jaguar rom or citrus rom they are quite fantastic and good battery life ! For me i am using the chinese zui right now 2.5 version and this is very stable and nice plus volte support. I think 2.5 is the best option according to me :v ..
I suggest JDC if you are not into heavy customization, it comes with Substratum. Smooth and fast. Best one ever.
Please what is the best kernel for xiaomi pie roms for android ?? .. iam using miui ms 10

I found PureCaf to be really good. It gives good battery and performance at the same time.
